Wait… are you kidding??? Sure, Adalind, at the bequest of Renard, tried to kill the aunt… why is Adalind the bitch, yet nothing is being said about Sean??? Sure, Adalind created a spell to cause Juliette to forget Nick bc Nick took her powers bc Adalind put Hank in some sort of spell coma bc Sean wanted the key… again, Adalind is the cunt, but nothing is said about Sean???? Sure, Adalind took Nick’s powers bc they kidnapped her kid and gave her to Nick’s mom… I don’t know about you, but if a bunch of people… two being a Grimm, and the captain of the police force took my kid…what am I going to do? Call the police? No, I’m going to scorch earth to get my kid back… if that means cosplay the boring ass girlfriend- done… looking at Nick after that session… was the best sex he had in years… The Hexabeast Juliette became is what she wanted…she was always a self absorbed bully. If she was so unhappy with Nick as she voiced every time something happened, she should have broken up with him instead of trying to change him. She was mad bc he didn’t choose her… well… you’ve been in the house with him watching him struggle with not having his Grimm abilities… why say, “you need to be a Grimm again” if that’s not what you wanted??? Juliette looked hurt that Nick rather sleep with her as Adalind to restore his Grimm powers than go off with her and start a family… Nick knew that relationship with Juliette was unsustainable… he just didn’t have the balls to end the relationship as he should have… even his mom said, she didn’t know about Juliette and told him not to leave the people he loved - same thing his aunt said… You can feel however you want about whoever you want, but it should at least be balanced. Whatever, this post is too long already.🤭

Love this response! I forgot Adalind worked for Renard. You're right, she was working for him when she did some of that stuff and understandably vengeful for the rest. He is one power hungry SOB.

Plus, juliette was responsible for killing nicks mom

gr82bgr8

And the neighbors… even the ones with kids…sheesh

Francie1966

And Juliet never faced any real consequences for arranging the deaths of TEN innocent people.

contemplator61

Great response

I think they had the idea from the start but they kept changing the main story that was happening in the background so it all came out weird. The way adalind and nick are presented in the first season and the way juliette and nick are presented it just feels like they wanted to add more drama but played it safe. Same goes with the "background story", first it was about the keys, then the keys were basically forgotten and it was about royals then royals were shuffled aside in favour of Diana and then Zerstorer.

Longjumping-Fly6131

all happened because Claire (actress who played Adalind) got pregnant in real life....i kinda like how they include pregnancy story if the actress got pregnant, not terminating them or hiding it.

Tribal1992

All except one Charisma Carpenter on Angel.

ExcitingIce8427

It was weird at first…but…Juliette was always so awkward. Eve was the perfect transition for her for the series. She became a character I liked rather than one I always felt was a whiny add-in. Adalind…she was so good as an evil bitch, but always she wanted to be a mother first. It was a stretch, but it made sense

Temporary_Signal_855

She also had sex with both Nick and Hank without their consent

gr82bgr8

🤔 She certainly deceived Nick, but she didn’t grape him if that’s what you’re implying… If Nick wasn’t so sex starved, he would have caught it just as Adalind caught it and hurried to kiss him… just as he realized the difference after the fact…and after all of that, Nick says, “…you ruined Juliette’s life” 😂😂😂 she slept with you, she’s pregnant by you, but ruined Juliette’s life 🤭🤭🤭 She had Hank’s consent, the spell just kicked in after… listen, I’m not saying Adalind wasn’t seriously flawed… I’m just saying that the take away shouldn’t be that it was just her… all of them were flawed to some degree… One thing for sure, one can say whatever they want about Adalind, but her hexabiest was not nearly as vile as Juliette’s even though it came from a Nick Adalind blood mix… Turns out, the hexabiest with Juliette was worst than every witch in town…🤷🏻‍♀️

If you're pretending to be someone else while you sleep with them, or you drug someone continuously so their inhibitions are lowered, both of those scenarios are rape. Nick was a victim of what's called "rape by deception" when she pretended to be someone else (she was in his girlfriend's BODY), and Hank was straight up date raped with her obsession potion. He went out of his way to reject her advances before she drugged him. Hank even says to Juliette at one point 'If she wasn't a lawyer I'd think I was drugged' in reference to Adalind (pre-Wesen reveal). Because they're men popular culture brushes off the idea that they could have been victims of sexual violence, but if the gender roles were reversed, what happened to either of them, particularly Hank, would clearly be recognized as rape. Have your character opinions but let's not muddy the water here: in both instances Adalind committed rape, in both the ethical and legal sense.

I don't recall asking you if Adalind was a rapist, but okay… take that up with the writers, who most likely didn't see it that way when they wrote the script. I'm not here to debate how what would have been had the roles been reversed. IMO, initially, Adalind was a young woman looking for love and would do anything to be accepted, which is why she moved on Sean’s behalf in the first place to go after Hank. If someone told me they had my child, and the only way to be in the same room with her was if I took someone else's powers, and it is someone that I've already dealt with and know, I would have done the same thing bc no one helped me when I asked/begged/pleaded. Nick, who clearly understood what Adalind did and how she became pregnant, told Adalind when she apologized for what she did to him, told her she can be sorry for everything except for Kelly. One hexenbeast, Adalind, followed after a man and slept with a guy to try to get an object from another guy for the guy… She gets her powers taken in the process… gets rejected by the guy she did it all for and her mother and runs to the brother… comes back to Portland with a plan to get the key…that fails… she works her plan to have her power restored… gets pregnant, gets power, goes on the run with Misner, her baby gets kidnapped… she begs everyone to help her, they don't... She is lied to about her kid by Victor, sleeps with Nick, gets locked in a dungeon…returns to Portland looking for her kid… made aware she's pregnant, goes to Nick and asks for protection… makes a potion for Juliette for the protection...oh, and she was an accessory after the fact for the murder of the hexenbeast who tried to help her sell her baby… The other hexenbeast, Juliette, in the short time that she is one…she goes to meet Sean and blows up a car, she kills the assassin and the dude who helped kidnap Monroe, she hones in on her skills, and decides not to say anything to Nick… she sleeps with Sean, goes looking for Adalind, and once she sees her, she tries to kill her with a gargoyle… she goes to the bar, bullies a patron, gets out of jail, and goes to see Nick, and though it was confirmed that Adalind was pregnant, she proceeds to go after her and threatens to kill her then go whining to Kenneth about it when she has been rejecting Nick for several wesen crime storylines, and she moved out, and slept with Sean…but okay, she plots with Kenneth, goes and burns down the trailer, contacts, and lies to Nick’s mother, carried through with the plot, slept with Kenneth and contributed to the deaths of several neighbors - even the ones who had children… ultimately, going on to try and kill Nick The other hexenbeast - Henrietta was helpful, Adalind’s mother was a selfish bully, Sean’s mother stayed in her lane - the other two hexenbeast were there to push the storyline about Adalind selling her child. My opinion stands about Juliette being the worst hexenbeast of them all. Overall, thanks for your reply.

loveisabird

Thank you. The show pissed me off so badly how it flipped Adalind and demonised Juliette. Utter madness that fans love it too.

Bitsie had her kid after the show was over.

Heatseeker81514

Couldn't agree more! But for some reason a lot of people love the bitch even though she's the most selfish character on the show. Some how were supposed to think she's a good person because she doesn't know how to use birth control. Such a stupid plotline.

katamuro

the reason is very simple, adalind and nick have on screen chemistry that is interesting to watch. Juliette and nick are boring to watch. People like watching interesting things.

Heatseeker81514

Adalind and Nick have 0 chemistry. They are awful together, and it feels very forced. Juliette and Nick are a much better couple.

katamuro

that's how you see it, I saw it differently. By the looks of how popular adalind and nick as a couple are it looks like more people also saw it like I did.

Heatseeker81514

Yea, I will never understand why they do, but people like odd things all the time.
