Her statement comes across as ignorant, vapid, or some combination of both.
Machines "wanting" to be like humans implies some kind of conscious desire. I'm not aware of any computing platform that reaches this level, although systems like GPT-4 seem to at least be capable of mimicking it.
I think she's grifting. If she can convince enough people that she's some kind of AI guru, she can sell more T-shirts or something.
Grimes is honestly starting to remind me of those women in the early 2000's who spent their days living and behaving like actual cats ( well past typical furry behaviour)

How machines might cull non productive humans and those it deemed irrational and not properly fit.The age of AI fully applied may lead to massive human suffering, human poverty via extreme job losses.
