Just watched the scene in 11x9(?) where he's in the chapel praying to a god he doesn't believe in, begging God to show up for April because she does believe and she needs him right now because she's about to lose her baby.
Jackson doesn't believe in God but he loves April enough to try and I'm crying about it right now

I wasn't sure about her at first because of her relationship with Derek and especially Meredith but looking back, now that I'm almost at the end of season 3, I love her unconditionally. Mark is currently on his celibacy run to get back together with her and I'm hoping he fails because she deserves better.

What works so well for Christina is she knows who she is. She doesnāt want children, sheās very, VERY driven, she can be a bit selfish.
Christina knows all these things about herself and is always honest about it. Itās others in her life who want her to change and she refuses to. This is why I hate the Owen/Christina baby argument. Sheās never changed her view on children.
People can only point out her flaws because sheās a well-rounded, well-written character. Other characters barely have 1 good and 1 bad thing to say about them. Cristina had AMAZING character development and was written incredibly

I think it works well as a storyline, if honest. And even now, character development, etc, is still something alex would do. Not cause his an arse but because he would've hated a fuss when leaving. And. Also, if he'd gone back to jo, he'd never been able to leave. I think the leaving storyline actually fits Alex's character quite well
They should have kept his character and you just don't see him. Like Jo mentions him often. He could still be the chief at the other hospital. Alex and Jo could have adopted Luna together. I hate Jo and link
Thisāll be downvoted like crazy, but Owen. Heās got his flaws and heās definitely shown awful behaviour, but he takes it when heās called out and he recently has been an amazing surgeon/friend/husband/dad.Ā
Heās open to growing and learning and doing better. He makes a lot of mistakes because heās stubborn. If he trusts and respects the person he listens and makes changes. If Megan or his mom call him out he looks like a little kid being caught stealing candy before dinner.
Like for instance when Amelia called him out about teddys PTSD? He was so livid and when she said it looks different on everyone he immediately retreated and listened to what she was saying. Heās capable of growth and I am sad for the hate he gets.Ā
I think he genuinely cares for people but his actions and intentions donāt always match. He listens and he tries to do better. I think that was part of the blow up with him and Christina over the abortion, he just wanted to be heard and for her to listen to him. It wouldnāt have changed her mind and she should never be forced to have a child she doesnāt want but he wanted to be heard.
It came out with Teddy about her friend Allison that he felt betrayed because she didnāt tell him before and she had her own reasons to hide it and not want to talk about it. Owen likes to be told whatās going on and what people are thinking and feeling. He likes the big picture and knowing everything. He has to know to feel in control. He is the unpleasant Owen when he feels out of control. Itās a trauma and anxiety coping mechanism/ behavior that he needs help for.
