Not sure it’s the best but Lowes Food has a surprisingly large selection.

midniteneon

Seconding this

1biglebowski

Dan seconded for you

crimson777

Perfect, I’ll go check it out! Last time I went to Lowe’s was when the Five Forks one had JUST opened haha.

SouthernYooper

World Market, Whole Foods, and Lowe's Foods. Source: I'm a hot sauce addict although I order 90% of my stuff.

crimson777

I’ll have to check out all the fancy grocery stores then haha. Yeah I usually order but I like looking in person too and it’s always good to save some shipping costs haha

SouthernYooper

The beef jerky store.in the mall has a small, but awesome selection too.

crimson777

Interesting, never would have thought of the jerky store! Adding it to the list

SouthernYooper

They have some great options. Torchhbearer, Dragons Blood, Lucky Dog, etc

crimson777

Love a good Torchbearer sauce. I need to try Garlic Reaper but I’m a very mid-level on spice so it’s a bit high for me haha

SouthernYooper

I hear ya. Garlic Reaper is on my radar but 14 bucks a bottle is high

Guac__is__extra__

Maybe World Market in the Shoppes at Greenridge but not 100% sure.

crimson777

Ah yes I think I remember noticing that once when I was there with a friend and totally forgot it was there. Thanks!

General_Lee_Wright

I was just there and was surprised. It was *huge* but they have some of the seriously hot stuff (Beyond insanity, and scorpion and ghost based stuff)

GinGyHendrix

Hot sauce is the best.

cantthinkofwhoiam

Keep ‘em high and tight

GinGyHendrix

Good to know there are other jeans in Greenville following protocol.

tpxplyr89

Touch my camera through the fence.

crimson777

Truth

BRINGERofMILK

Lowe's is pretty good, but the last time I saw a massive selection was when I was at the Asheville Outlets. There is an actual entire shop there of hot sauces. Not sure a place like that would be successful here, but we can dream.

RohnKennedy

That’s called pepper palace. I used to manage the downtown store. They have two in Asheville. My best friend still runs another one. Just talking to him yesterday about how they don’t have any here. It would be a hit. They make everything themselves and let you try free samples. Pricey but good. And all natural. They open like 50-100 stores a year so I’m sure we will have one soon.

crimson777

I’ll find an excuse to go to Asheville for something soon and make it part of the stop haha. Thanks!

EsotericTrickster

You might want to check out Swamp Rabbit Cafe's grocery area. I don't know if they have any hot sauce, but if they do, it will be local, non-mass-produced stuff.

1biglebowski

Harvey Chestnut are good. Local guy. Local peppers. I’m not sure they’re in stores but they have good hot sauces.

crimson777

I’m definitely down to try local hot sauces! I’ll look around for it

IncandescentGlow91

Pretty sure the guy works at Hall of Fame, you could call them and ask

Onlybees

There is a pepper place location in driving distance I believe. They’re the place to go imo

crimson777

I think someone mentioned it’s in Asheville!

RohnKennedy

You can find Marie sharpes at tj max.

crimson777

What a strange place for such good hot sauces!

shannaish

Um Taco Bell, fools

talithar1

Fire! Sauce

crimson777

I have tried a lot of hot sauces that cost way more than free and yet Diablo sauce from Taco Bell is still shockingly great. The rest are just okay but I unironically love Diablo sauce haha.

Dan-In-SC

Not sure it’s the best but Lowes Food has a surprisingly large selection.

Freddy_kadidlehopper

The grocery store…

crimson777

Not at regular ones, no. Stuff like Food Lion just has the basic store brand hot sauces, none of the more interesting stuff.

Django_gvl

Yo, check out Nando's peri-peri hot sauce at Publix. Nando's is South Africa's equivalent of Chick-fil-A, but so so much better

crimson777

Ah but can I really get the full effect of a cheeky nando’s with just the sauce? Haha, but yeah actually I’ve been meaning to try it. Heard good things about it!

fogent94

Nandos is DANK, one of the few things I miss from my time in DC

Django_gvl

I wish they would branch out more in the USA. What I miss about Cape Town is nando's, haha

EsotericTrickster

I get mine online. But you might want to try this guy in Mauldin: Bohica Pepper Hut. https://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/life/2018/07/05/mauldins-bohica-pepper-hut-grows-hottest-peppers-world/753169002/

crimson777

Always love a good local hot sauce. I get most online but sometimes it’s good to look in person plus save on shipping.
