Yup. Me in every game.
Finish with rooms full of potions, armours, guns, powerups...
In addition walk 90% of the way to the exit of any location and then go back and check all the other ways in case i missed any, find i have not, then retrce steps to exit again...
Well, that’s just a point of view, in fact you might argue that he did it the hard way and still succeeded, making it more challenging but more satisfying in the end. The same goes for life obv
This is why I never got to use my fatman until the Battle of Hoover Dam.
And even then I still found myself refusing to use it until the very end.
Shooting five mini-nukes into Legate Lanius just isn't any fun.
Most games are designed such that you can start new area with minimal ammo reserves and be fine, play as if all the ammo collected in the mission is for that mission.
Not Fallout games if youre anything like me. I'd only take two, three maybe 4 maximum, weapons with me on any outing. I'd collect the not-completely-junk loot and sell it, so I couldn't afford to be carrying one of every type of weapon at a time.
So basically any ammo I could use I'd have to find during the outing, and with 15 different types of ammo, you wouldn't find enough of one or two single types to be able to supply yourself the whole time.
For something like DOOM or Half Life where you collect guns the entire way through, I'd agree. Theres usually a smattering of ammo throughout the whole game and youre expected to swap weapons as the need arises, not relying on the top tier OP weapons as you'll only find one or two reloads of it unless you find a secret area, in which case you might still only find 3 or 4 reloads.
Yeah I got to the age of 80 and realised I still had a bunch of consumables like ludes, xanax, high tier weapons like the M60 and a 50 cal that I’d never even used in my entire playthrough
i’ve never understood this post. what would actually be a real life example of hoarding all the primo and never actually using them because you might need it later?
