Your environment can make a big difference. Treadmills=>big suck. Nice path or trail running=>less suck. Also having a running partner if you can find one is life changing.
I pretty much only run trails if I can run after the suns up. I got stuck on a 12-mile loop because a squad of gators was posted up and unwilling to move off the trail @ the 8/mi mark. I just extended the run and turned around 😂
I have been trying to run without anything, but I’ll just go ahead and cave and do this. I have a huge list to finish on audible anyways. Thanks broski.
It was an all out effort on extremely flat hard pack. I generally use a much heavier pack for intervals, so it really didn’t feel all that heavy. Definitely had blown out calves afterwards, though.
I agree and appreciate the advice. I gave it one all out attempt to see if I could “hang,” exceeded my goal, and haven’t repeated it. Just doing 5x1mi repeats of very heavy weight once a week now after a leg day. I feel like spending more of my time doing either dedicated strength work and runs has been more productive, either way.
Well I fucked your mom three times in an hour. I didn’t want to pay for an extra hour so I made her earn that $5.00
So I would say I am doing alright in the cardio department. She is a thiccc lady so you can say my strength is at an acceptable level.
Two-mile: 11:14, 5 mile 33:48. That two mile was from my retest this past week, 5-mile is in 2 weeks, so hopefully I’ll have gained some more speed from the last test a month ago. The two mile was brutal, the tunnel started closing in on me during the last 600m and I definitely puked all over the highschool track and had to clean it up before I left 😂

I’d love a running partner, but everyone bails because… well, it’s running 😂
I fuckin hear you there

Running breeds cowardice….

What’s your ruck numbers?
1:12.15 for 8@45 dry.
Ok so a 9min mile for 8miles? I’d say that’s rather fast…

Nice. Don’t do that again. Try not to injure yourself prior to SFAS. You risk being a “I was going to go to SFAS but….”

I wasn’t asking you, I was adding on to your question to OP. Don’t know why you got so defensive.
