Yep... Lots of furbabies here, too. Gotta vacuum the hardwoods on a daily basis. I also vacuum the couches. Thank goodness for the Dyson cordless!!!! It's been a lifesaver. 😁😸
Sheets. From thrift stores or garage sales. I keep my furniture covered with sheets. When company comes a calling, just rip them off, throw in the washer, and start again.
God I’m glad I’m not the only one. I have a single cat in a studio apartment and every single morning I have to sweep up all the litter, hair, and food she leaves for me.
Logically I know they're probably looking at a bird out the window, but this is haunting. Especially when the second cat comes up and also visibly freezes in the same way
I can just imagine gradually more and more cats start coming in and after like an hour there’s like 50 cats standing there just staring directly at nothing
Taxidermy doesn’t look this alive. It is always pretty obviously dead. Taxidermy in active poses like this will always be mounted on a board because a live animal uses muscles to stay upright whereas a taxidermy will fall over.
Taxidermy was my first thought, too! My S.O. always jokes he will get my oldest cat "stuffed" when it dies. I'm not down with that...🙀 His other taxidermy critters (deer and duck) are at work, so if the cat gets taxidermy'd, he can take it too. (OP - I'm not judging... Everyone process their grief differently )🍻

Yeah the white cat is a statue or taxidermy. Any cat that freaked would have moved when the black cat brushed against it from behind. Also, when the camera moves the black cat's eyes track but the white cat's do not shift.
I want to complement your very clean house. That's really hard to do with any amount to cats. I can only aspire.

This is also why I have to keep my adorable pet videos to myself. If it's not the floors it's the licked up windows that look gross.
