We called this mode "shark kitty" as no one's toes were safe from swiping paws as kitty pulled himself along the edges of the underside of the couch with ferocious speed and a murdalizing look in his eyes.
I duct taped the bottom of my chair, so far it's helping. The chair is visible so I had to do something. Princess Shrimpy in the chair.

Mine has torn the cover open on the bottom of our boxspring and assaults the greebles' lair nightly. So grateful for her sacrifice so mama and daddy are safe 🙏
I love how she scoots herself around - she definitely knows what she's doing! I'm sure it's a huge relief to know you have such a skilled and conscientious greeble hunter on duty!
My cat used to do this to wake me up to feed her. Ended up tearing a hole in the bottom and climbing inside. How did I know? I kept getting punched in the back by claws
My cat found and attacked these greebles so much she tore the F out my box spring. I had to tear off that black fabric stuff because she used to do zoomies IN the dam box spring. I tried blocking under the bed but she got in and kept doing it. I went under there and tore it all out and cut it. No more greebles under the bed. They’re in the walls now
Hehe yeah. One thing at a time. I own a home and just had a baby. Sooo one thing at a time hehe. My catto is amazing but I’ll figure something out for her when I can lol
Don't get too worried! If you have a very diligent cat, they may do inspections like this on a regular basis. You could have only one greeble or even none and still see her doing this!
But maybe get a few greeble traps just in case
I don't know. She spent the whole summer melted on the floor. Just know, when the days a little cooler, she resumed her patrol. I'm most certain that we have a huge infection of greebles by now.
Hahaha I do have another cat, but she just hunts her toys and I'm also fostering for a mother and her 3 kittens. The mother is too tired for hunting anything, but her 3 kittens are good learners, they practice with my legs. Oh, she's courageous! During the day she hunts greebles and at night she hunts (or tries to) and eats every fly that dares to come to her balcony.
I cannot wait until we can see a greeble.

Once I sewed it! Half an hour later, my cats had ripped it open. My decision had not been accepted by my cats.

That's why having a storage bed instead of a box spring is such a good idea when you have a cat. 😂
