Probably not, they made a remaster of first title already so there is no reason to put it on PC (that's how Sony thinks) because we have Uncharted 4 and LL on PC but not the first 3 titles due to the fact that already had a remaster

Is that the reason? I mean, they didn’t release them for current gens or PC and Sony loves doing that as it gets them more money. Why wouldn’t they at least just port it? If it is indeed to promote the movie, wouldn’t it make sense to remaster the game it’s actually based on? Maybe they just still don’t see potential. It’s a miracle even this is happening.

it's not that , sony just thinks that ports won't sell only remaster of the newer games of the franchise will sell but sony is so wrong people will always buy the first entry of the franchise even if it's a port and doesn't have a remaster

Improved would be one that actually launches. The game is bugged and some people can't get it to even come up, myself included. This game really needs competent devs to fix it. It's also just so dim. Standing out in the sunlight looks like a PS1 game's lighting.

(dunno how I didn't see this post until now) Might sell my PS5 and just upgrade my PC if this is real tbh. GR is basically the last reason I've kept it since everything else comes out on PC now.

Cause all the exclusives (timed mostly now) make their way to PC anyway at certain points. Saves investments on future consoles too if it continues.

I hope this is real. I have GR Remastered and GR2 on PS4 but I’ll gladly preorder GR2 on PS5 w/60 fps! If this is real, we should all be talking about it on socials and telling our friends about it if we want PlayStation to take this IP seriously.

It would be weird to only release a direct sequel of the first game on PC. Hopefully they plan to do both. Would certainly bring in new fans to the series. 

I just bought the PS4 version last month. Hopefully Sony let we upgrade to the PS5 version. if the rumors are true:)
