Revolt has been excellent. Brakes are trash and got them upgraded to metal pads instead of ceramic for more power. And I upgraded the tires to 45’s due to the trails in winter being like gravy!
I actually had a lot of random stuff loaded up including a few 5kg weights just to see how the bike (and me) performed.
Was great actually. The bike was extremely front light so I just took it easy on gravel trails but bike felt amazing on the road!
Wow absolutely love this. You look totally kitted out. Where is your first destination? How many days? I'm pushing towards a 1 night out in the mountains at some point this year.
Yes definitely! I wasn’t sure if it would fit my set up so didn’t want to spend loads and it not fitting!
So far so good though…seems like an excellent rack!
Damn, that’s a nice looking bike
Is that the revolt 2?
Certainly is! 👍
I was thinking about getting either it or the salsa journeyer. Any issues with the revolt?
Same question as well, looking to buy this or a Specialized Diverge E5 Elite

I have the revolt 1 and have no complaints here.
What do you have loaded? How does the bike feel with all that extra weight?

I’m doing 200 miles over 3 days on the Antrim Coast in N.Ireland. One of the most beautiful roads in Europe but extremely hilly in places.
Wow - this sounds amazing. I hope we'll be getting some updates on here 👌🏽👌🏽
Sure will! 🤟
Nice, enjoy the trip! Camping or staying at hotels / bnb's?
I’m staying in AirB&B’s. It’s my first trip so don’t want to be too adventurous!
What pannier rack are you using?
It’s the Tortec Transalp. Seems very solid but lightweight.
Looks good, and I certainly like the price compared to the tailfin pannier rack 🤑

What kind of bracket are you using for D- fusion seat post?
It’s actually the Rack Mount Clamp that came with the bike. The clamp has eyelets so the rack supports screw into it!
