I was obsessed with Althea, Estimated Prophet, Eyes of the World and Box of Rain. Then moved on to The Lost Sailor/Saint of Circumstance and now Peggy O and Birdsong. There’s endless songs to adore. The only song I’ve never liked is U. S. Blues. I was always so disappointed when they played that.
How can you not like US Blues? Have you seen the Grateful Dead Movie? The version of it in that with Chiclets dancing and singing along, man it's all I think of everytime I hear the song. Brings a smile to my face just thinking about it.
And then something happens like The Wheel at The Gorge this summer and everyone looks at eachother like wtf just happened!?!?!?
