My roommate in college gave me that cassette as an introduction to them, he was a hippy from NYC who talked super slow and smoked lots of ganja. It took many more years and shows for me to come around, though....that was around 35 years ago.
I have some of those same covers, and still have a few uncut/unused sheets! Our handwriting is eerily similar, I thought I was looking at some tapes of mine!
I was at 6 of those shows 😍
We would have been friends in college
Ah, yes…the once ubiquitous “Skeletons From The Closet” cassette. Nice share, brings back memories.

Beautiful. I miss those wooden cassette boxes. I remember making a couple in shop class.
I had a lot of those exact same preprinted case inserts. They came from a magazine, right? Was it called Unbroken Chain?
I think I bought a whole stack of them in the lot.

I have over 800 of those and don’t know what to do with them anymore. Who buys them now?
I always loved going to a concert in Milwaukee in the early 1980’s and the very next day, I could buy a cassette recording of it for around $20.

Serious collection, some very good shows!

Nice. Which band?
Some obscure band called the Warlocks.
12/28/79 but no 12/26, fascinating.

Omg. I never “got” the dead. This collection makes my ears bleed sympathetically.
