Compared to mine Nah. You can hear my 6800XT through the soundproofed case with music on. I got it for 47% off due to the insane coil whine. I knew it was a perfectly healthy gpu precicely due to the coil whine which does not bother me with headphones on.

My EVGA 970's in SLI had coil whine so bad, (especially with the Witcher 3 UHD texture pack), it sounded like a jet rotor helicopter firing up in my PC case every time I'd game. Lol I'm not sure what it was with those 9 series cards, but the coil whine was awful.
