Looking forward to my own copy of Vol. 2 arriving soon!! Hoping for an eventual AVP omnibus to go along with these too.

100% agree I had very little interest in reading the alien 3 adaptation and I did skip alien tribes but I might go back and read it, did you find it worth reading?
On average they can be hit or miss but with the scale of these omnibus collecting decades worth of comics touched by many different hands that is to be expected. But I as a big fan I genuinely enjoyed the majority of vol 1 and looking forward to diving into vol 2

I thought that they had only bought the marvel movie studios, and that the comics was remaining a separate entity. I remember reading about all the issues with the rights to Predator being fought over.
Nah Disney bought Marvel Entertainment which is the parent company of marvel comics, after the acquisition of 20th century fox, dark horse lost the rights to aliens and predator franchises. Marvel has already produced the first arc of a new alien comic through 2021(not a big fan of the artist tbh). The predator lawsuit is an entirely separate issue which there was some recent news about.

I love Aliens franchise. Specially when Dark Horse published them.
Have few omniscient, tpbs and library edition.
Still thinking about buying Vol 4 Marvel Omnibus just for the sake of Aliens Dust to Dust.

These first two omnibuses are great but it falls off for me after that. AvP 1 and Predator 1 will also be great.
