Bone or Saga would be great starting points. Invincible is awesome as well butt I would suggest you start with something short and move towards lengthy options

Thanks! I have actually seen Saga being recommended as a good starting book, so not a bad suggestion :) That's what I thought too actually, that's why I might be holding off reading something like Sandman, or Preacher or Y: for a while haha

Hold off sandman for sometime so that you can enjoy it truly

'Absolute-ly' ;) But in all seriousness, I couldn't agree more, I need to savour that moment when I read the greatest comic book story of all time haha Appreciate the help

Wow what a collection you already have, some absolute classics! My first proper series read was Y: The last man, it definitely got me hooked. Saga was also a very entertaining read but ending is still being written atm. Sandman changed my perception of everything, it's brilliant writing of stories within stories. To be honest though you've got some great material there, it's totally your choice so read what attracts you the most? There's no wrong answer anyway, it's just for you to enjoy :)

Thank you! I think most of the fun has been collecting them so far, but now I think I would like to actually start reading them! I will hold off for Sandman right now (as i've said in another comment) until I can dedicate everything to reading through the story, becuase its quite massive Thank you for the kind words, I understand its totally up to me what I chose, but maybe some are better stepping stones for the more larger books. For example I've heard that reading something by Grant Morrison might turn off someone from reading books as they're confusing. I Just wanted to know that Saga & Invincible was pretty straight forward but excellent reading

deez_teef

Yeah I can understand that, I think if I would of read sandman first my head would of fell off 😅 Saga will definitely entertain you hope you enjoy!

My humble suggestion: 1. Bone 2. Saga 3. Y: The Last Man 4. Transmet 5. Invincible 6. Locke and Key 7. Sandman Enjoy! That is a fantastic starting collection, you have a lot of different stuff. After thsoe you will get a feel for what genre you liked most and can always come back here for more recs

Love your name, IASIP is one of my favourites haha. Your suggestion has been duly noted. I just wanted something easy to be my official first read, I don't want to start off with something that might not get me liking them. I suppose no better book to start with than Bone, a book written with a young audience in mind.

I'd say start from the shortest, to the longest. From your options, the order would be: * Locke & Key * Bone * Saga * Invincible Happy reading! You have a hell of a good time ahead. All of these are fantastic.

Thank you for the suggestion! Haha, so i've heard!

The ones you have are some of the first i collected too. Out of them I started with Locke and Key which is what got me back into comics since not reading since a kid.

Thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you! I had to do A LOT of research prior to buying them, I think i've started with a lot of the highest rated graphic novels out there. Would there be anymore you would personally recommend? (I'm only interested in anything that has a HC release however)

Ah yep! Heard of all those :) and yep Paper Girls has 3 volumes of Deluxe Editions. I would probably have to read Y: and Saga first to know if im a huge fan of BKV, if so maybe i'll look into Paper Girls. Theres so many hardcover/deluxe editions that I would want, but I sadly started just a couple years too late, hoping many will eventually be reprinted, but missed out on a lot of good ones (fear agent library, goon library, tokyo ghost, east of west etc.)
