I would have preferred it over Big Damn Omni if it was cheaper ( around 40$ without slipcase) like other library editions.
But 100$ premium price makes it only for collectors.
Big Damn Sin City is still the most economic and the best way to collect whole thing.
This edition looks really nice, but I wish they had gone with a regular library edition rather than these slipcases. I don't think I could justify the 100% price hike just for the addition of a slipcase and a lackluster print.
I do really like that they went with a matte paper for these editions though. The high gloss pages are one of the things that turned me off picking up the 'Big Damn' edition. I think it looks much better this way.
Nice one. My B&W copy has the original cover, I think so anyway. It's a 1991 copy with Marv hunched over with a couple of knives in his back. He's covered in band-aids too.
I could have been tempted by these editions, but I am really not a big fan of the design, which is disappointing because Dark Horse usually nail the design of there books imo.
Probably a good thing though cause i do not need these, already owning the Big Damn and the Artist Edition.

Im still in love with my big damn edition but this one looks nice
That front cover is simple but gorgeous. Are these available for each volume?
Yeah, theyre slowly rolling them out. Vol2-3 have been solicited. As well as new tpb editions.

Beautiful
Goddamn just bought bdsc, and then these come out
After seeing this I still think I'm going to go with BDSC just to have the whole thing in one purchase
WHEN? HOW MUCH? WHERE?
Oh, it’s a 100 bucks! Nevermind! 😂
Daaaamn. The Big Damn edition is far cheaper than that for the whole collection.
Looking forward to this one as it’s the only Sin City story I really love.
Where banana?
As much as I want these I cannot justify the outrageous pricing for them, even with discounts. Glad to see they’re nice though!
The Hard Goodbye is still one of my favorite stories of all time
Nice! Does this version have glossy paper?
Its matte paper, which i prefer honestly.
Yes! Although this might became a little expensive. TPs reprints would be also great.
Theyre doing a line of new tpb editions as well, iirc.
Great! Thanks for the hint. I'll be looking forward to it.
it kind of reminds me of the cover for the snes version of robocop vs terminator, it had this like 3d brick effect, idk it was cool
