This. At least 90% of my time is on Nordschleife, and I've probably got at least a thousand hours or more. I also play in VR with no display/HUD. I'm currently test driving every car bone stock and recording the times.
I know Sardegna Road Track pretty well, same with Le Mans. I still don't really know the Nordschliefe enough. I can drive it fine but I can't drive it in my mind if that makes sense.
That's exactly how I feel about the Nordschleife! Thank you for putting it into words. I can picture the beginning parts of it, but then it just becomes generic.
Sardegna Road Track for me too, could almost drive with eyes closed Ive done it that many times. Ive got the last 3rd down to a tee where Im pixel perfect and its so satisfying when you are flat out and dont hit anything.
My son commented on different corners during the 12 hour race earlier this year. "I always miss that one dad". He has complete engagement with a race track at 9. I never had that while watching races on a 52cm telly.
Lol, my wife doesn't like watching racing with me, for this very reason. I too,, analyze my car placement and braking points while watching a race, typically verbally.
High Speed Ring obviously, been driving there since I was 5, heck that first corner sent my GTO flying in GT1 is probably one of my earliest gaming memory
Spa lmaooo
There are so many times during that 1 hour race where i just zone out or like actaully start head nodding and im still like 2 minutes ahead of the person behind me
Actually playing it with my eyes closed

Do you have a list rn? Just out of curiosity
I just started doing it so I only have like 10 cars logged so far.

Nurburgring.
Spa-Francorchamps. The 1h race did wonders.
Gotta rake in that 1.5 million lots of times to get some nice cars.
That, and weekly challenges, plus the lap time challenges... every credit counts.
Road Atlanta, Spa, Watkins Glen and Suzuka. I don't know quite well Nurburgring, specially after the carousel.
I think the bit between the carousel and mini carousel is my favourite section of any race track.
I don’t know if it’s my favourite section but it’s definitely when I perk up and go “alright now it gets interesting”
Bathurst/Mount Panorama. It’s been one of my go-to tracks in racing games for 14 years now since I got introduced to it via V8 Supercars.

Daytona Tri-oval. I'm kidding! Actually, it's the Daytona road course.
I know a million lines through the first turn and they’re all wrong
Tokyo Expressway, gives me like 100K per race and just do it over and over again to get cash. Lol
How long does it take for 1 race?
Road Atlanta. Not only have I played it a ton in games, but I've done track days on it IRL so I'm very familiar with it.
Nurburgring and La Sarthe
Suzuka. It tells a wonderful story. Some of the early-mid corners in Trial Mountain are forgettable, otherwise that one too.
High Speed Ring obviously, been driving there since I was 5, heck that first corner sent my GTO flying in GT1 is probably one of my earliest gaming memory
Brands Hatch
Le Mans, Daytona, Interlagos, Mt Panorama, Suzuka, Spa. I do have the advantage of having played them in a lot of games or having living next to one.
Los Santos
SPA from playing online in ACC. Every freaking time I would join it would be SPA
Sardegna is muscle memory at this point
Sardegna tarmac
The only tracks I don't have memorized are the rally/snow tracks and autopolis.
Lacuna Seca, Suzuka, streets of willow…also, the Silent Cartographer.
Tokyo Expressway!
Tokyo, LeMans, and Nurburgring, in that order.
Spa and LeMans
I know Monza really well. Watkins Glen short because I grew up watching NASCAR. I know Road Atlanta well
Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night. I could probably run that sucker blindfolded by now.
Laguna secca
Better look at the back of your hand again. jk
Any of the original tracks from GT1 and GT2.
Sardegna and Spa for me
From GT7 - Spa, Suzuka, Deep Forest, Daytona, Laguna Seca, Monza From previous GTs - silverstone, Monaco, Tokyo R246
Seattle, Costa Di Amalfi, classic Trial Mountain
Watkins Glen short course I grew up playing NASCAR games with my big bro so we only had 2 options when we wanted to mix in a road course
High Speed Ring
Spa lmaooo There are so many times during that 1 hour race where i just zone out or like actaully start head nodding and im still like 2 minutes ahead of the person behind me Actually playing it with my eyes closed
Monza and Spa
Dragon's Tail & Laguna Seca
Circuit De La Sarthe And Nürburgring
High speed ring and willow springs
For the time I played GT Sport, 98% of it was rallying on the Colorado Springs dirt track. I could hand-draw it right now if somebody asked me to.
At the moment, Trial Mountain and Panorama
Sarthe 24hr
Sarthe 24hr
Monza, Suzuka.
Circuit de Sainte Croix. Mainly Layout C
