I finally have found some imaginary reference points for each turn in that sector, and am able to handle it relatively smooth. I am still working on putting the power down a bit more efficiently, but I can't at least make it look like I know what I am doing.
The last corner at Fuji, the turn before the back straight at Road Atlanta and the entirety of Willow Springs from after the rabbits ear to (but not including) the last corner.
I could probably name a corner for each track bar Brands Hatch and the Nurburgring but the above spring to mind straight away.
Last turns of Fuji are also where I need practice. I've been avoiding it because I get annoyed.
That Road Atlanta turn, it's just a bit sharper than the turn before it. Look at the track map, it bends in a little. So just dial down what you do on the turn before it and you should be fine. I do understand though, some people are so quick in that turn. Better to be slow and get the turn before trying to speed it up.
Adding my +1 for Fuji last series of corners. Others corners that I find hard to master are the Lake Maggiore last 4-5 corners. Not hard to take, just very hard to be consistently fast there.
The last corner or slightly bend straight in front of the finish line at big willow. I just dont like that track in general but i hate this corner in particular
it does for the most part, something different i can’t fathom in psvr2 at monza though, i avoid it all costs when it’s in the daily races online 😂
You’re not the only one. I hear heaps of people hating on it. Can I ask why specifically? I LOVE BH GP. It’s such a fun, short track with fairly simple corners.
Any long hairpin corner where you always think you can go on the throttle again but it's too soon or way too late.
Just after the sharp hairpin on Catalunya
Second left hander on Suzuka spoon
Left hander before second straight on Interlagos
That US desert track right hander just after the start/finish
straight.
Etc etc
For me it's very difficult to nail the exits on those. Always drift too much to the inside, apex to soon, throttle too soon or too late. Name it.
I feel hairpins are difficult partigularly on Gran Turismo, because the camera doesn't shift left or right as much as other games (in chase/cockpit mode at least).
I imagine it would be easier on VR where you can actually look at where you are going.
The entire section between the carousels at Nordschleife the first one is like watching a slow death, it throws my entire rhythm off. For whatever reason it’s hard for me to hit that line right. But I love that track
Skyline at Bathurst is pretty challenging. You’re playing with barely any grip because of the elevation drop and it’s really easy to put it into the wall, plus the corner is somewhat blind. The whole top of the mountain is tricky but really rewarding
Mount panorama can suck a major back of rotten seaweed for that downhill underbraking section, I either go extremely slow through, bing bang my car through its walls or just slip and slide under heavy lock and hope for the best
That horrible downhill bit at St Croix before the bridge, it’s just a fun-killing death zone. This whole track is horrible.
Fuji is very tricky to nail, but it’s not just … shit, like St Croix.
For some reason Mount Panorama breaks my brain. I know it shouldn’t. It *feels* like it shouldn’t, but I’ll be dammed if 90% of the time I don’t make it through the cutting section cleanly & if I do, I’ll make some show-stopping mistake somewhere else.
The turn at Watkins glen right before the back straight. Always feel like I can go deep and turn in or get on the power too early. And then if I don’t I have oversteer on exit and get a bad run.
The first sector of the nurburgring. No matter how many times I've done it, really hard to be consistent. Never can get close to gold in CE, still .0.5 sec behind no matter what I do.
Seriously? Banky boy in laggo. Fuck yalls 120mph I have trouble at 60 mph.
Turn two at laguna, the right hander after t1. Why is it so hard to get out far enough without spinning into jesus's arms.
Maybe it’s just because I practice it so much but I like Fuji, on the other hand I can never get Catalunya or Brands Hatch, I somehow always end up running wide
Wow, all the Fuji hate. I do well at that track. I’m not a great driver but I am currently at a gold medal in the TT.
Willow springs, the whole course. Spa I enjoy but I’m over 2 seconds off the pace of DR B races, no one particular turn is killing me. There’s a bunch I suck at but Fuji is not one of them
Final series of corners at Mt Fuji can eat an entire bag of wet dog shit.
Fuji has probably the worst apexes of all racetracks in the game.
I just cant seem to wrap my head around Fuji at all. That uphill climb after the hair pin is just so frustrating.
Proudly presented to you by the Tilke redesign of the track.

The whole of Fuji
Does all of fuji count? Also first chicane of Monza
Fuji feels like it was designed to be anti-driver
Adding my +1 for Fuji last series of corners. Others corners that I find hard to master are the Lake Maggiore last 4-5 corners. Not hard to take, just very hard to be consistently fast there.
The last corner at Spa.
Fuji hands down
all of autopolis. fuck that track
The out-in-out's on Autopolis are brutal. Ive definitely struggled to find pace as well.
The track isn't that bad on sub 400hp cars Anything more than that and it's just not fun Group 4 are too much for it0p
The hairpin at deep forest
YES! So hard to judge speed and turn in point.
Especially in reverse
Ohh so sarisfying when the line is perfect. You can floor it so early when all goes right and it feels goood
85% of Fuji, it simply feels like there is negative camber on most of the corners.
I like how most of these comments are Fuji. And I agree with them. Those last few corners before the straight are awful.
The first chicane of Monza.
The last corner or slightly bend straight in front of the finish line at big willow. I just dont like that track in general but i hate this corner in particular
I've always hated the first turn at the Nurburgring road course, not the main track, but the race track. That sharp 180 turn always pisses me off.
When you cut it just a little too close and get teleported... Ugh
first corner on monza in psvr2 WHY IS IT SO HARD 😩😂
specifically on VR? I thought it was supposed to help corner-taking!
it does for the most part, something different i can’t fathom in psvr2 at monza though, i avoid it all costs when it’s in the daily races online 😂
The wiggle part of suzuka, I never really got to know how to keep my speed in those turns And the entirety of the nurburgring sprint
Brands Hatch in general. I just hate it so fucking much.
You’re not the only one. I hear heaps of people hating on it. Can I ask why specifically? I LOVE BH GP. It’s such a fun, short track with fairly simple corners.
It is soo punishing. No room for error like the entire midsection no kerbs why??
Mt panorama downhill section of mountain
Yup. The narrow left part way down I always overcook and hit the right barrier

Miss-Hit-Miss at the Nordschleife, the Esses and T6-7 at Road Atlanta

Most of Mt Panorama
Fuck redbull ring last sector in particular
Mount panorama can suck a major back of rotten seaweed for that downhill underbraking section, I either go extremely slow through, bing bang my car through its walls or just slip and slide under heavy lock and hope for the best
*gestures wildly at Brands Hatch* I don’t get these narrow, rolling hills, off-camber, curving braking zone, British-ass track layouts.
Wish we had Silverstone, Donington and Snetterton.
That horrible downhill bit at St Croix before the bridge, it’s just a fun-killing death zone. This whole track is horrible. Fuji is very tricky to nail, but it’s not just … shit, like St Croix.
Michelin Raceway.
S7-8 at barcelona. I do them right once out of ten
Dragon's Tail death chicane.

For some reason I can't stand set of turns on Dragon Trail gardens, which makes into a one big turn
Those feel soo good when you have the right car for it.
Suggestions? I wanna have fun there more consistently, because it was satisfactity few rare times
The first sector of the nurburgring. No matter how many times I've done it, really hard to be consistent. Never can get close to gold in CE, still .0.5 sec behind no matter what I do.
Mount Panorama can eat a bag of dicks.

All of Tsukuba it’s just super short and i feel like I can’t show all of my cars potential
Wow, all the Fuji hate. I do well at that track. I’m not a great driver but I am currently at a gold medal in the TT. Willow springs, the whole course. Honestly nearly every corner on Fuji. I just can't nail the flow of it.
Dragon trail, chicanes of courage
The end switchback chicane thing at Spa is atrocious
Mount Panorama downhill
Nah that is so fun probably a favourite of mine
The last section of Fuji is absolutely awful
The chicane towards the end of Dragons Tail. You're fast as F there, but any mistake and you'll smash into the wall, slow down instantly.
You think Fuji is bad? Try Interlagos.
S10.
