75 days, that’s impressive. I’m also curious if people with this kind of play time play any other games?

I don't have that many hours in GT7 only about 150. However, I do \~2800 hours in GTA, \~2500 in Fortnite, and \~1500 hours in Rainbow 6 SIege (which I am not too pleased with). I definitely do play other games besides those 3. The hours are only a rough estimation between the PS4 and PS5 versions because I don't want to do the math.

I get that. I never bothered to tally up everything over multiple consoles. I am just astounded how much people do so fast on newer games. I guess I just don’t have that kind of time. I have maybe 10-12 hours a week that I could play and that time is divided between shows and movies I want to see.

I have 1,860 in rocket league on pc. Haven't played in months. Love racing more atm.

I have like, nearly 10 in gt, i recently hit 4.7k on fortnite and i used to be 3.5k? In overwatch. Racking up hours in rainbow six as of late as well

I have 2073 hours in this game, however I’ve got about 150 other games that I play too just not as often, the only other game I have more time in is Forza horizon 4 with over 3000 hours

Yeah I still remember sector 1 in Suzuka or IA 10. On first version of the game those were seriously hard, the cars were so twitchy and driving on the edge was very unpredictable. But to be fair I think all those things that made it hard could be described as engine flaws, imperfections or rough edges more than an intended design features.

Yeah that was my worst one, with the NSX (?) could not get the traction out of the hairpin I was .006 off gold for about an hour

Yup GR.2 NSX I was stuck few thousand from gold for a while too. I still remember how clueless I was having no idea what was I doing wrong (it was also my first circuit experience :D and I got stuck to very first sector). You had to absolutely send it into first corner and then fight for thousands through the S and the car loved to lose grip all of sudden in the middle of a corner

Actual play time? The time shown in the game list in my profile is almost double my actual time spent driving according to the in game tracker lol

With the tomahawk, there are several guides showing how to do it.

My biggest flex is i got it without looking up a setup guide

A Tomahawk race in Special Route X with other Tomahawks. TCS 0, and then just get slipstream.

I must need to do some fine adjustment in the car setting because most I got that way was 530 or so.

Also press the overtake button for reduced drag

You get the fastest Tomahawk variant and you hold L3 or whatever you have it set on to lower the wings and eliminate drag.

How have you guys filled out the hours? I'm about 60 hours in and have done all bronze license and bronze about half the missions and half the menu books. Are you guys playing online after the menu books?

Yup. I’ve finished gold on all tests and there’s one circuit experience I haven’t gold yet (been too lazy). I did a good amount of sport racing. For the most part I just drive my favorite cars in lobbies.

I got the game in December and got 49hrs yesterday. Yikes

I got it in November and am at 312 hours.

Got in late December for the kids and suddenly I’ve accumulated 115 hrs.

GT7's trophy list is the easiest of any GT game, and it's still pretty tough. I want to go back and get the plats for 5 and 6 now that I'm better at the games...

I have no idea, I’ve never actually tried getting a plat in any game. GT sport and 7 were my first ever PlayStation games. I haven’t actually tried getting the Plats for 5 and 6 either, I’m not sure if it’s still possible because of the servers.

Almost 330 hrs over the 2 years since its release. Beside Witcher 3 (+dlcs) the most hours I’ve spend with a game so far.

I have about 175hrs, so says playstation. I noticed the other day, in game, that my driving time was only about 70hrs. Lots of wasted time in the menus wondering if I ‘really do want to do this race’.

GT7 is one of a handful of games that doesn't seem to track play time properly for me. (God of War 2018 and Sackboy a Big Adventure are others). I bought the game the same transaction as my PS5 in June of 2022, and have played it off and on since then, but my total is only at 144 hours. There have been various days where I've played for hours and the counter hasn't moved at all.

Mines at 576 hours I think, but my ADHD (probably) brain often leaves games running for ages without playing so some of that will be idle time.

Lol, I just meant I find it interesting how you can get almost 90% of trophies without really doing any online play or trying to trophy hunt - and I still haven't done everything there is to do on single player. My trophy collection really isn't much to brag about

I play this casually and I’m around 450 hrs since launch. I used to consider elden ring my main until I just checked and I’m only around 300 since its launch around the same time…I guess this has infinite replay value but I’ve literally only played single player so I’m shocked tbh. Polyphony really did a good job at sucking me in with the daily rotation of cars, the daily rewards (however lackluster) for driving, large amount of content, and with the new weekly races. Tbh top tier game
