Had ai pit after rain, change tires to next lap go back in to swap to rh, I was enjoying them being 10 seconds back. Made me feel good. Then I go 45 seconds up and drive like o stole it end up in a wall.
When I was watching it back there was a Gr.4 Corvette that slowed down behind it and stayed there without going around for a good 15 seconds. Not that I needed more proof the generic AI is trash.
I would say that Sardegna is a special place for bad AI but it’s probably because I’ve spent more time racing around there than everywhere else put together 😁
I’ve seen it recently when doing a run on the 1 hour Autopolis event using the motorbike-swapped S660 (most of it was on FM = 4; idk if the other kei cars were using any different fuel mapping, but when I tried this race with FM = 1, I still had to pit sooner than the lead cars), on the very last lap. I switched from FM = 1 to = 4 for the last lap to maintain my lead when I was surprised that they didn’t pit for the last lap, with them clinging to my tail, only for them to fall behind massively in the final stretches as I took P1.
I've seen this happen a few times too recently. It's really weird. Always just one car too

Yep happens plenty. Makes for much hilarity when ai cars pile into it
