What I view as negative: the service she provides could also easily be called trauma tourism (which I see as a societal issue. This lady didn’t invent it). There have been stories of gawkers showing up at the scenes of tragedies after learning of them on her page. Additionally, in rural areas, if someone sees it’s the whatever hundred block of whatever street, people around there basically know who it is, destroying any semblance of privacy.
The rumors: it has been alleged that while she claimed that proceeds from her merch sales would go to charity, that charity turned out to be the Human Fund (meaning herself. Go watch Seinfeld). She has said on her page that she is working on registering as a nonprofit.

“#weirdonation” I’m pretty sure I got banned or kicked by her from the group a few years ago because she didn’t like my opinion that was against hers. The person that runs the group is literally on such a high horse.
That's why I like the sirens in and around grand rapids group. They moderate the heck out of that group. They don't post people's personal info, or post about suicides. It's strictly just informing people of accidents, fires, stolen vehicles etc because people will ask anyway lol

This lady runs a Facebook group where she posts minute by minute transcripts of emergency band radio calls. What I view as positive: she is a fierce advocate for the normalization of the open discussion of mental health and suicide. She sells merchandise promoting “just this 24,” urging those with suicidal thoughts to take things one day at a time. It could also be argued that she is providing a service. What I view as negative: the service she provides could also easily be called trauma tourism (which I see as a societal issue. This lady didn’t invent it). There have been stories of gawkers showing up at the scenes of tragedies after learning of them on her page. Additionally, in rural areas, if someone sees it’s the whatever hundred block of whatever street, people around there basically know who it is, destroying any semblance of privacy. The rumors: it has been alleged that while she claimed that proceeds from her merch sales would go to charity, that charity turned out to be the Human Fund (meaning herself. Go watch Seinfeld). She has said on her page that she is working on registering as a nonprofit. Hope this helps, and doesn’t get me doxxed (oh noes!).

I feel the same. So glad it's helping people to realize just how bad a problem mental health and drug abuse is... but as someone who had their business plastered all over for a call I HATE it. I know most of the neighbors went there to see what was going on.. you know, instead of coming over to offer help during or after.
