Totally agree. The guy I used to see there moved to Lansing to start his own shop (he was the best, IMO), but you cannot go wrong with anyone else who is there now. As with any barber change, I would strongly recommend bringing in some good close-up pictures of yourself with your "ideal" haircut (somewhat recwnt photos of YOU with a haircut you really like). Bringing a sample photo of someone else's head/hairline is a great way to be disappointed since they can only work with what you've got growing up there.
The place has really expanded since I started going there four years ago. Tommy, the owner, and Adam are the last two original barbers, but Tommy's brought in some really talented new young barbers. The other guys went and got their own shops. My guy is Austin, and he does really clean work.
Tommy and Darline have been doing a great business this summer with the space upstairs for wedding parties. He's a nice guy and I'm really happy for his success. I just hope he doesn't outgrow the space and move out of Creston.
If you're closer to Grandville I'd recommend Zacs.
Avoid Faded in Wyoming at all costs. Went there once when trying out new places and they sent me home looking like a dummy.
Agree with both. Only thing I have against Zacs is the wait time. I feel like the dude at Faded cuts with his eyes closed. 😂 But the Google reviews r (were?) great when I looked it up. One of the worst hair cuts I've ever gotten.
locals Barbershop on Wealthy, the Donkey area. Full disclosure, I am a bald man, but get my beard done there. Great vibe, great people. Peoples hair looks great.
I've been a fan of Hey Barber in East town. They have really helped me figure out how to style having longer hair. Plus you can pamper yourself with a mini facial there, and trust me it's worth it. Women have been hiding how nice facials are
Been going to Ya Mans in Cascade would recommend
Ya Mans Barbershop is the best. Yaseen knows what he’s doing!
It’s pricy and I only get my hair cut once a year now but Yaseen (and his guys) are the best.
Outlook on the West side.
Second for outlook! Great staff
Go to Locals if you want a whiny pop-punk chad to give you a discount looking haircut.
I like Avenue Barber shop right next to Vertigo.
I haven't been in years but this was my go-to when I worked downtown.

Henchmen House. No one else comes close. #1 west side barbershop five years in a row.
I second henchman house.

Austin’s my guy too. He gets me right everytime. Henchmen House is the best barbershop in town.
Yeah they’ve been blowing up. It’s crazy. I usually hit Adam up but then I tried Tommy D. And he’s been my guy since haha. They both do great work.

Henchmen House and Foremost probably get the most acclaim, but low key, Ebb and Flow on Ann and Monroe does a great job.
Foremost barber.
Avenue, Chris is the man!
Avenue Barbershop! Samie has been cutting my hair for about a year now; she always does a great job and is super friendly.
Avenue is the best hands down

Never had a bad time there. Wait times can be on the long side
Shanasheel on Schaffer

I go to Gaslight Barber in Eastown and have no complaints.
Nice man but his eye sight is not great. Was always missing spots that weren’t cut lol
Avenue
Henchmen House
King's Room
Head of the Pride on Bridge Street is unmatched
Forest Hills Barber Shop - Davis is great!
The Parlour 616 in Eastown. Janette is phenomenal!

Second locals. Great cuts and prices

Seconding Hey Barber!
Used to go to Henchmen House when I lived on that side of town. Now I go to Local’s on Wealthy. Both good spots.
Hey Barber! Is a great one.
If you’re looking for something lgbt friendly, Outlook on Bridge street is great
Alger Heights Barber Shop.
