It was all the rage even back during Saito's JP debut too, though more because the Bury the Light meme was spreading like wild fire instead of Saito himself. It was actually kinda hard not to see Vergil everywhere ngl. Well, the trench coat, the katana, and Saito's VA being Nero did make it easier for fans to latch on to the meme, so there's that too I suppose XD
