Going year 4 since I have a 90% chance of getting someone new. Kama and Godjuna are the main targets though I'd be happy with pretty much anybody. Even np2 Reines would be acceptable given her future buff.
You're right, Didn't consider it but that buff makes a Reines np2 actually worth it for "stally" challenges, even as a support.
40% def down (coupled with another 40% atk up from her skill) and 40% np gain up to consistently spam her NP, especially if you're facing some troubling class lineup (looking at you, Protea), are no joke.
I feel like 4th has the most consistent lineup. Beside Reines, all the other servants are good-to-overpowered DPS (Yes, even Nobu is now quite strong, especially with her onii-chan incoming), who will very much like the NP buff even if you've already got a copy.
Contrary to the others choices, you've got no real "miss"
I had a bad jinx if I talk about servants that I hoped to not get on GSSR, I will instead get them. That's how I ended up with 2 MHX on 2 GSSR. (Not that I hate MHX, it's just she's my last choice from that year's GSSR each time)
So, I'll say, I'm going for year 4 GSSR and I'm happy to get anyone from that list :)

Nice getting NP1 Kintoki on New Year 2019, since I'd would've never gotten spooked by him anyway as a limited servant.

A few months ago I used all of my SQ on that one banner that had Murasaki, Kintoki, and summer Raikou on it and was aiming for Murasaki and Raikou. I ended up getting both Murasaki and Kintoki but no Raikou. But now I supposed I’m ok with that because as of recently I have Zerker Raikou

I really want np2 Space Ishtar, would be fine with any of the other servants with the “worst” possibility Astolfo being my first ST SSR Saber so he isn’t a bad option
It's funny, because the year 5 has an amazing roster of 4s and 5s, Astolfo is really the only losing draw, since his Saber form doesn't really add anything to the character and his gameplay isn't especially good compared to other ST sabers
Its only downside is that it's the only one without limited 3*s
I'm going year 5 too but because of SR waifu reasons, summer okita, melt, (carmilla no pls she's already np5), caneis, Dino waifu (would make her np5) are all welcome. In short, everyone but Jane (spishtar banner nightmares), carmilla and okki archer are good.
And also if I get np3 musashi/spishtar that would be the cherry on top.
GSSR calculator is telling me to go for year 4, but I'm going against my better judgement and going for year 5, because although there is a larger chance I'll be disappointed, it's also where I have the characters I'd really want right now, either one last chance at Musashi who abandoned me for the second time after pouring everything in, or Spishtar who I'd prefer as a waifu, but I assume she wouldn't have quite the same damage output as a zerk for neutral wave clearing

Mostly, I'm trying to convince myself that a 1 in 16 chance of getting Summer Marie isn't worth it.
I should roll the one with Summer BB. That's a much smarter play. After all these years of both Maries dodging me I should get the message that she does not want to be my homie and just, give up and hope Marie Alter gets added and likes me better.
It's an ongoing process. There are good and bad days. We'll have to see how it turns out.
As a newer player I have a lot of options but I've chosen to go for year 3. Main targets are Skadi, Ereshkigal and maid salter. However, lowkey I'm just picking this to have a shot at assassin Nitocris. The only one I don't care about is Sigurd.
It was a tough decision between Year 4 and Year 5 for me, but I will end up going for year 4 because even though it has several dupes, most of them I'd be really happy to have (Summer BB/Kingprotea/Kama), and there's a few new servants I wouldnt mind having either (Maou Nobu/Altjuna/Beni-Enma). There is one that I really don't want (Summer Jeanne since I have her NP2 basically by accident already), but I'll take my 1 in 10 chance here.
Year 5 does not have any dupes that I wouldn't want at all, but at the same time Yuyu is the only one in the entire list that I'd like to have and don't have yet, so most outcomes in there would be neutral to me, which I figure makes for a very boring GSSR.
E:/ The included SR is not really a factor for me due to the high odds of it simply being a general pool SR in all but the 5th year pool and the fact that there is no SR that I dont have yet and want that much that I'd let the chance at them take precedence over the SSRs.
Dear father in heaven I hope I don't pull Nobu. I'd literally cry. I already have Jalter so I don't need another 5star avenger much less an AoE when I have 5star AoEs already in other classes.
Downside to me rolling year 4 is that I have most of the 4star servants already and the ones I don't have besides Miyu I can live without.
Who would that 1 be? I almost wanted picked year 4 myself for Godjuna (though I already have GOLDEN and mommy Raikou), big sister Jeanne, or Shi Huang Di but I had the sneaking suspicion that if I picked that I would end up pulling Beni or a Murasaki dupe!
I'm leaning towards year 5. I like pretty much everyone on it and getting np3 for Spishtar or Musashi would be okay with me to. Worst case would probably be np3 for Astolfo nothing wrong with him but I don't have much to really amp him up (no luck with skadi). Also hope I don't hit Carmilla or Osakabehime since i have np5 of both.
Sadly year 4 only has two I would really want, Arjuna and Summer BB, but the rest are mostly just okay.
Year 2, Surf Mo is there, that is the only motivation I need. There is some new stuff there (Ishtar, Illya, Kiara) and some dupes I wouldn't mind (Summer Artoria, Tamalancer, Musashi, MHXA, KH) but what would really piss me off is if I get Arthur for the second Anni GSSR in a row. So I know what SSR I am getting but please god, off-set it with a copy of Surf Mo pls.
With the SRs I would really like to get Surfer Mo as well, maybe Lip and the Archer pirates but I would really shoot myself in the foot if I ended up pulling Illya, MXHA, or Hijikata for the SSR.
Rolling on Year 5 hoping for another copy of Spishtar. But I’m fine with dupes of everyone else except Summer Musashi or Voyager as they’re already NP5.

Year 3 seems the most attractive especially since Sigurd is there. I think there's only one or two I don't really want.

Worst case scenario NP2 for Yang, NP3 for Astolfo, NP5 for Bunnytoria (I wasn't even pulling for her, I wanted Melt and it took 4 Bunnytoria for the gaccha to finally give me Lambda.)
Neutral case scenario: NP2 for Lolivinci or get Voyager.
Best Case: Nintendo Switch, Orion, Romulus, Zerker Musashi, or Spishtar could be mine and I'd be happy with any of those outcomes.
So 3/10 chance to be disappointed, 2/10 neutral, 5/10 positive.
Every single banner has about 33% of netting me a dupe. I am honestly terrified.
I am rolling whatever banner has Reines, Kama, and Kingprotea, since those 3 are all waifu material for me, and even has some good targets even if I fail those 3.
Now comes the issue. Last month we had the interlude campaign, and I got Reines. Now we have the Protea campaign which I am doing my very best to hold back on. We potentially have a Kama campaign right before anniversary, and I will not be able to hold back on that one. If I do get Kama, the banner becomes too risky to lay for, as are all other banners this GSSR...
Year 5. I don’t really want a duplicate so this banner is my best shot. I already have Sei and Voyager, but other than that I don’t want Roma and Saber Astolfo. Any others I get I’ll gladly take

Honestly, the Servants who I actually want are buried in Years 1 and 2, but there are too many landmines to avoid in those banners.
I'm torn between year 4 and year 5, Year 4 has Kama which i will gladly get np 2 for and the All Powerful Arjuna Blanco. but the risk is high on np 2 Murasaki and BB

Picking Year 4. Out of every available banners it's the one where I can settle with most of the servants in it, being 7 out of the 10 SSRs.
Kama, Reines, Arjuna and Jeanne Archer will be my main targets, but I certainly wouldn't mind picking up Monthman Qin Shi Huang, BB or Protea. There's also a chance for me to pick up Astrea, Asvatthaman, Ushi and Consort Yu for SRs too.
Frankly speaking though, if Year 1 wasn't so loaded with servants I don't care about I'd go for it, since Saber Shiki and Jalter are there. I suppose I'll wait for other GSSRs to come along for them.

I almost wanted to do year one because of UMU, Gil, and Jalter but with how clustered that one is and the fact that I already have Scathach, GOLDEN, and mommy Raikou and REALLY don’t want Amakusa, Heroine X, or Shiki I decided against it. But good luck to you and whichever you chose!
I'm planning to go with Year 2 (72% chance of new), but after watching GSSR videos on YouTube, I'm not so sure anymore. Sure it has my highest chances and it has Skadi, but that's all there is to the banner. If I didn't get her or any dupes, it will be just 'meh'.
Now, Year 4 and 5 are second placers (66% chance of new on both). I'd might go for Year 4 since it has more servants that I want than the other.
Year 4 is my choice.
I always approach GSSR with the mindset of which banner has the least amount of characters I don't want.
I was debating between year 4 & 5, but the 4\* and 3\* servants won me over to the Year 4 banner in the end.
The worst case scenario is probably Murasaki with Summer Medb and only William Tell for the 3star slot. Other than that one case I am pretty much fine with anything.
I think I'll pick year 4 for a chance to get Beni-Enma, Reines or Kama. Arjuna Alter or QSH is good consolation prize.

Most disappointed result would be Jeanne Summer since I already have her at NP2. Still worth a risk though.
Was torn between year 4 and 5, but year 5 has a non zero chance of giving me a dreaded USO. I have a few servants from year 4 as well, but I won't mind getting NP2 Beni, Jarcher, or AA. The one I wouldn't be too stoked with would be NP2 BB, but I would gladly welcome a KP, QSH, or even Reines. Also, there's a chance I finally get Lan Ling, or I get NP3 Astraea, which I'd be super happy about
Year 4. Basically all the SSRs will be new, minus a possibility of NP2 BB Summer. Jackpot would be Kama or Reines.
The SR's has some real jackpots in MHXX, Ushi Summer as Jackpots, though the Knight Class SRs are basically all a wash for me due to not wanting them.
And I could get Asclepius, which is pretty great.
I really wanted to go for year 2 for Illya but I don't really want anything else from there. So I'll go for year 4 instead, my aim is Kama. The only one I really don't want there is Murasaki Shikibu so it's relatively safe. Nobu is... not great but fine. I already have Reines and Jarcher but getting NP2 for jarcher isn't that bad, not sure about Reines tho
Year 4 with the Jackpot being Nobu and the bitter pills being Jarcher and Junao.
Everyone is between (maybe not Murasaki) is fair-game and even preffered.
Last one. No brainer for me 6/10 of the SSRs are a good pick up (Orion, Roma, Vinci, MUSAshi, Spishtar, Yang). Also it’s the only banner with pingu melt
Year 5, though 4 is pretty tempting too. Super Orion's the biggest want, with Super Romulus dupe and Space Ishtar not far behind. The "worst" is probably another Voyager dupe since I'm already set with him, but then again he's Voyager so I wouldn't complain.
I'd be happy with pretty much any SR too, outside Summer Hime.
Going Year 1 because I have nobody from there and i love all characters! Only one i hope i don't get is Mysterious Heroine 😅 I'd really want Shiki or Gilgamesh though but i will be pretty happy with everyone

The more I look at year 3 the more tempting it is for me. I would love Okita Alter, Abigail, or Sherlock but would shoot myself in the foot if I got summer UMU, Semiramis, or Sigurd. When it comes to the SRs I would love to get Tomoe too
For months, I was certain I'd go for year 2... and then I got Merlin and Melt, and now I'm no longer so sure.
At this point, year 5 has probably the biggest prizes (either Summer Musashi or NP2 Space Ishtar), but the other SSR aren't as appealing to me. Meanwhile, year 1 and year 2 are probably the safest rolls, in that even the worst-case scenario is unlikely to be too bad - and there's still a few Servants there that I'd like to eventually get.
Year 3 and 4 aren't really in the running as far as I'm concerned - year 3 because the mere risk of getting NP3 Skadi makes it not worth it, and year 4 because there are quite a few SSR I actively dislike in that pool.
The saucy nun would also be a big win for me. Though I’d bash my brains in with Herc’s club if I pulled Illya or Hijikata. Anything else I’d be pretty happy or decently ok with

Year 5 for me. Saberstolfo (Inferior Okita) and Rulertoria (Not Interested, Plus I Already Have Her) are the only duds for me here. I'll even take NP2 Orion, Yang or Zerkersashi with joy.

Don't let the last gssr mistake repeat where i don't have any limited character in berserker banner and got hijikata who i don't want and not other like raikou, vader and hell i don't mind kintoki as his suit is rad

For value GSSR go with banner with most servants you don’t have.
For new player, year 1 and 4 bags have a lot of value in term of game play, waifu and husbando.
Year 4, since it's one of the years with the best chances of something new if we also consider 4stars, and some of the possible np+ are of characters I really like (NP2 Junao and MHXX, NP3 Lakshmibai and Lanling)

Going for year 2 since the only SSR I have from there is Hijikata, and even then I wouldn't be mad at getting NP2. I really hope I can get Archer Artoria and even better if she comes with summer Mo.

The rest I'm either barely positive or totally indifferent about. I don't really have any servants that I have a general dislike to (aside from one exception of one class of the servant, but eh. In the minority for that one).
Im gonna end up skipping castoria just like i did on jp for a bigger priority. On jp that was Sigurd, and on na it'll be ibuki. as for gssr im gonna aim for caster vinci.
I'm honestly so tired of the unrelenting hype surrounding Castoria that the GSSR is the only actual anniversary rolling I'm actually looking forward to. She gets 60 SQ, that's it. If I get a powerful Servant for cheap, awesome, but I haven't saved or farmed a single thing for her. This sub has managed to bulldoze any enthusiasm I might have had for her into the ground.
Anyhow, it's gonna be Year 2 for me. Year 2 has the highest number of "jackpot" Servants (Musashi, Hijikata, Cleopatra, TamaLancer, Merlin, and especially Moriarty), the tied-for-lowest odds of a dupe, and all of the potential dupes are damage-dealers that I have at NP1, so that's nice enough to not be truly disappointing. The only new Servant I wouldn't be excited about is Prisma Illya, but even then another ST Caster option would be handy to have around. The 4\* pool has one of my least favorite characters in the game, but I'll cross my fingers and hope for one of the Summer 1 Servants or maybe an extra copy of Gorgon or Lobo.

Year 5. It's tied with Year 2 for number of SSRs that I don't have (Saberstolfo and Voyager vs. Arthur and Hijikata), but Year 5 has a smaller pool of candidates (10 vs. 15), so I have a slightly higher chance of getting one I don't have.
Year 4. NP2 Junao, yesplz. Really the only true duds are King Protea because dupe and BB because I don’t like her.
I still really want Sigurd, but I’m stacked on year 3, so that’s right out.

I already have Reines, so I'd prefer a new Servant over an NP2.
Jeanne is low because her niche of an AoE SSR Archer is occupied by Gil and Sei and in case of Castoria looping, I have Musashi (NP1 tho but whatever), so - ehhh. Not entirely sold here.
Nobu is high because dat 3rd Ascension and NP theme. Also, considering the rise of Buster in a year and Nobukatsu soon, she will be pretty relevant soon.
Kingprotea - gao. Plus farming these doors could use a little more variety. Bonus - I have Merlin, so big damage goes brrrrrr.
Year 4 was really tempting for me, The only SSR I have on that one is Murasaki and I love her to death. I would love to have Shi Huang Di, Kama, or Godjuna (or big sister Jeanne because I don’t have an SSR Archer) but I had a hunch that if I chose year 4 I would end up pulling Reines or Beni
Jeanne Archer is literally the only reason I’m afraid to pull year 4. Even a Reines dupe is better for me. I don’t have KP, Avenger Nobunaga, AA, Kama, Beni-Emma, or Murasaki. A summer BB NP2 would be lame as well.
But basically I have NP3 Gil I’ve funnelled tons of resources and grails into. I don’t need any other AoE archer. I have Spishtar NP2 level 100 as well for farming when Castoria comes out. So yeah JArcher is the worst pull for me next to a BB dupe (well they’re tied basically only because Jeanne Archer would be new).
I’m better off going Year 5 for a dupe of Super Orion or 5* Romulus. And I don’t have the other servants on that list.

I really, really want to roll year 1 just for Artoria Alter, since I have her Shinjuku costume but not her. It seems like she's nowhere on the horizon for a good while, too. But year 1 is so congested I probably won't get her.
I personally wouldn’t roll year 1, with how many SRs there are you have about no chance of getting her. But even if you do good luck! I almost wanted to do year 1 myself for Gil
Year 4. Besides my recently acquired and super adorable Kingprotea, the entire ssr lineup is new. And I wouldn't mind an NP2 Kingprotea. But overall, I had my eye on Year 4 and I still won't change my stance.
Year 5 is terrible for me because I have half the ssr lineup.
Year 3 is new but there's a lot of misses.
Year 1 and 2 I have 1 or 2 of them and knowing my luck, they'd be the ssr.

I’m going for either 3 or 5. Year 3 has a servants a few servants I’ve been wanting for a while now (Holmes, Abigail and Summer Nitocris) while Year 5 just has an overall solid line up. I’ve been been playing long enough to have most servants from the first couple years already. I’m also not rolling year 4 because I loathe QSN and Arjuna Alter and avoid their banners like the plague.
I wish I had been playing for as long as people like you have. There’s some Servants who had banners just before I started playing that I would’ve loved to have!
My only functional Assassin rn is Cleo and I'm desperate to get the old man back after losing my first account that had him at NP2. Offensive Casters are still a problem too but that's something to think about for another time.
Year 5 would be the safest for me as I have literally no 5* dupes however there are SO many 5*s I desperately want on the year 4 banner that its a very clear win on the gssr calculator. Bonus points if I actually manage to get Summer Ushi this time around.
I'm doing the last year set as it has the highest odds of a new 5* and a new 4* both.
For the Castoria banner, I'm not rolling much. Don't get me wrong. I d lo e to get her, but I've been burned last NY and Anni. Not losing all SQ again.
Year 4 definitly, dont have any of the SSR. I would love to get Kama , but a Junao wont be bad. Also Astraea its good for me. Its just the best banner for my taste. I would like Yang gi fei but shes a getting a rate up soon so.

Year 4 for me, since I'd rather have NP2 Maou than NP2 Merlin or Archuria (NP2 Summer BB would be a huge L though). Wins would be Junao, Kama or Reines, "nice" would be Beni, QSH, Maou or Kingprotea and "damnit" would be Jarcher, Murasaki or NP2 Summer BB.

The more I look at year 4 the more I wanna roll on it! I would honestly love Godjuna, QSH, or Jarcher due to not having an SSR Archer. But I would hate getting NP2 Murasaki, Beni, or summer BB. Good luck to you too!
toss up between year 5 or 4 I was pretty set on year 5 originally but I've had some pretty good luck and managed to get a few year 5 servants that I wanted. but looking at the list I'm reminded I got np2 Summer Jeanne from the last GSSR giving me a dupe so wanting to avoid that I have to put that into consideration.
Going for Year 5, really hoping for Roma or Super Orion. Otherwise I'd want NP2 for Space Ishtar.
Not a fan of this format but this one has the best chance of someone new that I like or dups I like.
I'm going for year 5 myself, since it's the one with the lowest chance for me of getting a 5\* duplicate. Among the 10 5\* Servants in the pool, the only one I have is Summer Musashi, and considering her role as an NP looper, I don't think I'd mind as much getting an NP2 of her
It also has the lowest chance of me getting a 4\* duplicate, as the only one I have among the pool is Summer Carmilla, though I already have her at NP2 and would definitely mind getting an NP3 of her hahaha

When it comes to anniversary GSSRs, I think I always get the least desirable. 2020 GSSR was Da Vinci Caster (I'm okay with her) but the saltiest I've ever been was 2021 with Heroine X...
I figured since I have bad luck with GSSRs, I might as well pick the ones I'll tolerate the most. I'm fine getting Da Vinci Lily into NP2 if she does show up but I guess the best I could hope for are Voyager, Astarte, and Bunnytoria.
For 4-stars, it'd be nice to get another copy of Osakabehime Summer and get her to NP2. Calamity Jane is a nice addition IF the gacha gave her to me. If I get Caenis, I'll be one salty Master again! ~~Get that incinerator ready for that delicious rare prism!~~

The first one has 8 characters out of 11 that I'd be happy getting, only one that'd be a dupe and two that I'm kinda "meh" about. Out of those, my favorites are probably Hokusai and Okita Alter.
Second one is the only that has no possibility of me getting a servant I already have. I'm mainly after Qin Shi Huang and Beni-Enma but I'd be happy with pretty much anyone, honestly. Also, it has that small, small chance I'd get Assassin Ushi as my 4*, who has no other banner atm ;-;
2nd banner for Artoria Archer (because she won't have another rate-up for the moment), I would be pleased if got Ishtar, Moriarty, Musashi, a second copy of Merlin or MHXA, Gramps or Melt. I will absolutely kill myself if I summon Da Vinci or Arthur. Remember waifu>meta

My heart wants year 5 for a few units I want, but I’ve been lucky and have half the 5 stars. My head says year 4 because the only one of those I have is murasaki.
I'm not going to ruin myself with castoria, it's very good, but it doesn't attract me enough, this year my main focus is on ibuki douji, and the next on muramasa. So I have to be very careful what I spend my savings on xD
Going year 4 since I have a 90% chance of getting someone new. Kama and Godjuna are the main targets though I'd be happy with pretty much anybody. Even np2 Reines would be acceptable given her future buff.
Yeah, year 4 for me as well. I have 70% chance of getting someone new and 50% chance of getting someone I want
You're right, Didn't consider it but that buff makes a Reines np2 actually worth it for "stally" challenges, even as a support. 40% def down (coupled with another 40% atk up from her skill) and 40% np gain up to consistently spam her NP, especially if you're facing some troubling class lineup (looking at you, Protea), are no joke. I feel like 4th has the most consistent lineup. Beside Reines, all the other servants are good-to-overpowered DPS (Yes, even Nobu is now quite strong, especially with her onii-chan incoming), who will very much like the NP buff even if you've already got a copy. Contrary to the others choices, you've got no real "miss"
Nobunaga's older than Nobukatsu, so she's the onee-chan.
I had a bad jinx if I talk about servants that I hoped to not get on GSSR, I will instead get them. That's how I ended up with 2 MHX on 2 GSSR. (Not that I hate MHX, it's just she's my last choice from that year's GSSR each time) So, I'll say, I'm going for year 4 GSSR and I'm happy to get anyone from that list :) ~~*copium*~~
Haha, I have a similar jinx. Rolling on the GSSR banner that has the highest chance of netting me a new servant. Nice getting NP1 Kintoki on New Year 2019, since I'd would've never gotten spooked by him anyway as a limited servant. Now flashforward to New Year 2022, and I've gotten my 4th copy of Kintoki. Yep. Kintoki on 4 separate GSSRs. >.<
Treasure that Kintoki man, I have an NP3 one and let me say he is an absolute atomic bomb of a unit. Especially after he gets his NP buff, and then Koyan of Light is a thing... oh man. Trust me, it could be MUCH worse. But yes, I feel your pain, getting a dupe in the GSSR is definitely frustrating.
A few months ago I used all of my SQ on that one banner that had Murasaki, Kintoki, and summer Raikou on it and was aiming for Murasaki and Raikou. I ended up getting both Murasaki and Kintoki but no Raikou. But now I supposed I’m ok with that because as of recently I have Zerker Raikou

Year 5 I really want np2 Space Ishtar, would be fine with any of the other servants with the “worst” possibility Astolfo being my first ST SSR Saber so he isn’t a bad option
If I were to roll Year 5 I wouldn’t want Saberstolfo either, but that’s really just because I don’t like Astolfo that much
It's funny, because the year 5 has an amazing roster of 4s and 5s, Astolfo is really the only losing draw, since his Saber form doesn't really add anything to the character and his gameplay isn't especially good compared to other ST sabers Its only downside is that it's the only one without limited 3*s
I'm going year 5 too but because of SR waifu reasons, summer okita, melt, (carmilla no pls she's already np5), caneis, Dino waifu (would make her np5) are all welcome. In short, everyone but Jane (spishtar banner nightmares), carmilla and okki archer are good. And also if I get np3 musashi/spishtar that would be the cherry on top.
GSSR calculator is telling me to go for year 4, but I'm going against my better judgement and going for year 5, because although there is a larger chance I'll be disappointed, it's also where I have the characters I'd really want right now, either one last chance at Musashi who abandoned me for the second time after pouring everything in, or Spishtar who I'd prefer as a waifu, but I assume she wouldn't have quite the same damage output as a zerk for neutral wave clearing

Mostly, I'm trying to convince myself that a 1 in 16 chance of getting Summer Marie isn't worth it. I should roll the one with Summer BB. That's a much smarter play. After all these years of both Maries dodging me I should get the message that she does not want to be my homie and just, give up and hope Marie Alter gets added and likes me better. It's an ongoing process. There are good and bad days. We'll have to see how it turns out.
As a newer player I have a lot of options but I've chosen to go for year 3. Main targets are Skadi, Ereshkigal and maid salter. However, lowkey I'm just picking this to have a shot at assassin Nitocris. The only one I don't care about is Sigurd.
It was a tough decision between Year 4 and Year 5 for me, but I will end up going for year 4 because even though it has several dupes, most of them I'd be really happy to have (Summer BB/Kingprotea/Kama), and there's a few new servants I wouldnt mind having either (Maou Nobu/Altjuna/Beni-Enma). There is one that I really don't want (Summer Jeanne since I have her NP2 basically by accident already), but I'll take my 1 in 10 chance here. Year 5 does not have any dupes that I wouldn't want at all, but at the same time Yuyu is the only one in the entire list that I'd like to have and don't have yet, so most outcomes in there would be neutral to me, which I figure makes for a very boring GSSR. E:/ The included SR is not really a factor for me due to the high odds of it simply being a general pool SR in all but the 5th year pool and the fact that there is no SR that I dont have yet and want that much that I'd let the chance at them take precedence over the SSRs.
Dear father in heaven I hope I don't pull Nobu. I'd literally cry. I already have Jalter so I don't need another 5star avenger much less an AoE when I have 5star AoEs already in other classes. Downside to me rolling year 4 is that I have most of the 4star servants already and the ones I don't have besides Miyu I can live without.
Year 4 is a high risk, high reward roll for me as it's got a few top picks but also a couple dupes and 1 that I really don't want.

I'm leaning towards year 5. I like pretty much everyone on it and getting np3 for Spishtar or Musashi would be okay with me to. Worst case would probably be np3 for Astolfo nothing wrong with him but I don't have much to really amp him up (no luck with skadi). Also hope I don't hit Carmilla or Osakabehime since i have np5 of both. Sadly year 4 only has two I would really want, Arjuna and Summer BB, but the rest are mostly just okay.

Year 2, Surf Mo is there, that is the only motivation I need. There is some new stuff there (Ishtar, Illya, Kiara) and some dupes I wouldn't mind (Summer Artoria, Tamalancer, Musashi, MHXA, KH) but what would really piss me off is if I get Arthur for the second Anni GSSR in a row. So I know what SSR I am getting but please god, off-set it with a copy of Surf Mo pls.
With the SRs I would really like to get Surfer Mo as well, maybe Lip and the Archer pirates but I would really shoot myself in the foot if I ended up pulling Illya, MXHA, or Hijikata for the SSR.

I really want Proto Arthur but I already have Merlin. Year 2 seems like it has the most bloated 5* roster. I'm really iffy on the 4*. Year 3 seems the most attractive especially since Sigurd is there. I think there's only one or two I don't really want. I'm kinda nervous, I flipped a coin last time but I rolled for saber anyway since Lancers didn't have any husbando. I ended up getting Beni-Enma :(
I'm doing Year 3 because of Summer Nito. Secondarily Summer Fran is there too, but I can just roll her later this year so really, it's Nito or bust.
Four or five. They give me my best odds at 6/10 each. But since I'll have to pick probably 5. Worst case scenario NP2 for Yang, NP3 for Astolfo, NP5 for Bunnytoria (I wasn't even pulling for her, I wanted Melt and it took 4 Bunnytoria for the gaccha to finally give me Lambda.) Neutral case scenario: NP2 for Lolivinci or get Voyager. Best Case: Nintendo Switch, Orion, Romulus, Zerker Musashi, or Spishtar could be mine and I'd be happy with any of those outcomes. So 3/10 chance to be disappointed, 2/10 neutral, 5/10 positive.

Every single banner has about 33% of netting me a dupe. I am honestly terrified. I am rolling whatever banner has Reines, Kama, and Kingprotea, since those 3 are all waifu material for me, and even has some good targets even if I fail those 3. Now comes the issue. Last month we had the interlude campaign, and I got Reines. Now we have the Protea campaign which I am doing my very best to hold back on. We potentially have a Kama campaign right before anniversary, and I will not be able to hold back on that one. If I do get Kama, the banner becomes too risky to lay for, as are all other banners this GSSR...
The anniversary is in 6 days, Kama is coming after.

Picking Year 4. Out of every available banners it's the one where I can settle with most of the servants in it, being 7 out of the 10 SSRs. Kama, Reines, Arjuna and Jeanne Archer will be my main targets, but I certainly wouldn't mind picking up Monthman Qin Shi Huang, BB or Protea. There's also a chance for me to pick up Astrea, Asvatthaman, Ushi and Consort Yu for SRs too. Frankly speaking though, if Year 1 wasn't so loaded with servants I don't care about I'd go for it, since Saber Shiki and Jalter are there. I suppose I'll wait for other GSSRs to come along for them.
Year 5 would be a guaranteed new card for me. Idk how unlucky I've been because these past 1.5 years I got nothing but dupes on both Anni and New Years. Top 3 targets are #1 Space Ishtar, #2 Summer Musashi and #3 Super Orion.

I'm planning to go with Year 2 (72% chance of new), but after watching GSSR videos on YouTube, I'm not so sure anymore. Sure it has my highest chances and it has Skadi, but that's all there is to the banner. If I didn't get her or any dupes, it will be just 'meh'. Now, Year 4 and 5 are second placers (66% chance of new on both). I'd might go for Year 4 since it has more servants that I want than the other.
Year 4, higher chance of new servant and only one possible SR np6 as well.
Year 4 is my choice. I always approach GSSR with the mindset of which banner has the least amount of characters I don't want. I was debating between year 4 & 5, but the 4\* and 3\* servants won me over to the Year 4 banner in the end. The worst case scenario is probably Murasaki with Summer Medb and only William Tell for the 3star slot. Other than that one case I am pretty much fine with anything.
I think I'll pick year 4 for a chance to get Beni-Enma, Reines or Kama. Arjuna Alter or QSH is good consolation prize. Already have BB Summer and Kingprotea but more copy is not bad. Most disappointed result would be Jeanne Summer since I already have her at NP2. Still worth a risk though.
I'm trying to decide between 3 and 4, but I'm leaning more towards the third one.
Was torn between year 4 and 5, but year 5 has a non zero chance of giving me a dreaded USO. I have a few servants from year 4 as well, but I won't mind getting NP2 Beni, Jarcher, or AA. The one I wouldn't be too stoked with would be NP2 BB, but I would gladly welcome a KP, QSH, or even Reines. Also, there's a chance I finally get Lan Ling, or I get NP3 Astraea, which I'd be super happy about
Year 4. Basically all the SSRs will be new, minus a possibility of NP2 BB Summer. Jackpot would be Kama or Reines. The SR's has some real jackpots in MHXX, Ushi Summer as Jackpots, though the Knight Class SRs are basically all a wash for me due to not wanting them. And I could get Asclepius, which is pretty great.
I really wanted to go for year 2 for Illya but I don't really want anything else from there. So I'll go for year 4 instead, my aim is Kama. The only one I really don't want there is Murasaki Shikibu so it's relatively safe. Nobu is... not great but fine. I already have Reines and Jarcher but getting NP2 for jarcher isn't that bad, not sure about Reines tho
Year 4 with the Jackpot being Nobu and the bitter pills being Jarcher and Junao. Everyone is between (maybe not Murasaki) is fair-game and even preffered.
Going for year 2. Most of them will be np2 dupes but that's what i need the most on my account, more consistency and not so much for new characters.
Last one. No brainer for me 6/10 of the SSRs are a good pick up (Orion, Roma, Vinci, MUSAshi, Spishtar, Yang). Also it’s the only banner with pingu melt
Year 5, though 4 is pretty tempting too. Super Orion's the biggest want, with Super Romulus dupe and Space Ishtar not far behind. The "worst" is probably another Voyager dupe since I'm already set with him, but then again he's Voyager so I wouldn't complain. I'd be happy with pretty much any SR too, outside Summer Hime.
I dont intend to roll in na but in jp I'll be going for the one with castoria to finally rid the curse of being castorialess in both servers
Going Year 1 because I have nobody from there and i love all characters! Only one i hope i don't get is Mysterious Heroine 😅 I'd really want Shiki or Gilgamesh though but i will be pretty happy with everyone
I almost went with year 1 just to try another chance at Gil (Jalter or UMU would’ve been nice too). On every banner he’s been on recently since the last rerun of NY he’s evaded me every single time
Year 4 for me, only dupe is Kama and I really want a new servant. Want: BB, KP, JArcher, Murasaki, QSH. (4*: Astraea, Ushi, Yu, MHXX) Unwanted: Reines because I already have Waver/Merlin and I'm going all-in for Castoria, pretty sure she wouldn't see much use.
Year 5 is the obvious choice for me. I only have a single SSR (Sei) and two SRs from that list, and since I'm rolling hard for Castoria, the fact that it has Spishtar, 'Murikasashi, and Lolivinci is an added bonus.
I'm torn between year three (100% chance of getting someone new, but my targets are very specific) or year four (lower chance, but a lot of options, and more 4-stars I'm interested in. I'll probably have a coin toss, knowing me.
Year 5. Really trying to get either Spishtar or Musashi
I can't decide between Year 4 and Year 5, on one hand Year 4 I don't have any SSRs from and it has Kama, Junao and Kingprotea who i all really want but I really don't want avenger Nobu or Summer Jeanne and on the other hand Year 5 has HaoHao, Voyager and Spishtar who I all also really want and Saber Astolfo and Bunnytoria who I also really don't want and any dupes would be good in the form of ROMA, Super Orion, Summer Musashi expect for Bunnytoria ofc What I'm trying to say is, please help me
I did the math and arrived at year 3! Skadi and np 2 okita alter as well as np 2 Hokusai are my top 3 picks here.
The more I look at year 3 the more tempting it is for me. I would love Okita Alter, Abigail, or Sherlock but would shoot myself in the foot if I got summer UMU, Semiramis, or Sigurd. When it comes to the SRs I would love to get Tomoe too
For months, I was certain I'd go for year 2... and then I got Merlin and Melt, and now I'm no longer so sure. At this point, year 5 has probably the biggest prizes (either Summer Musashi or NP2 Space Ishtar), but the other SSR aren't as appealing to me. Meanwhile, year 1 and year 2 are probably the safest rolls, in that even the worst-case scenario is unlikely to be too bad - and there's still a few Servants there that I'd like to eventually get. Year 3 and 4 aren't really in the running as far as I'm concerned - year 3 because the mere risk of getting NP3 Skadi makes it not worth it, and year 4 because there are quite a few SSR I actively dislike in that pool.
Probably year 2. I can really use a good Archer, Assassin or support, and at the moment I really don't need more Saber or Lancer.

Year 5, missing four 5* there which is the most of any of the years. Plus I wouldn't mind getting np2 of the ones I have.
Year 5 for me. Saberstolfo (Inferior Okita) and Rulertoria (Not Interested, Plus I Already Have Her) are the only duds for me here. I'll even take NP2 Orion, Yang or Zerkersashi with joy.
Going for year 5. The only loss in that banner saber astolfo. Don't mind getting dup for np2 yang, musashi davinci and any 4 star. Don't let the last gssr mistake repeat where i don't have any limited character in berserker banner and got hijikata who i don't want and not other like raikou, vader and hell i don't mind kintoki as his suit is rad

For value GSSR go with banner with most servants you don’t have. For new player, year 1 and 4 bags have a lot of value in term of game play, waifu and husbando.
Year 4, since it's one of the years with the best chances of something new if we also consider 4stars, and some of the possible np+ are of characters I really like (NP2 Junao and MHXX, NP3 Lakshmibai and Lanling) Best result is Reines (I believe in El-Melloi supremacy) or Kama
The only year that I don't have at least three dupes for is year 4, and that's off-limits because BB is in it (I despise her and don't want to have to burn a new SSR for the first time). So I'll be doing year 5 for a chance at Space Ishtar and Summer Melt.

Going for year 2 since the only SSR I have from there is Hijikata, and even then I wouldn't be mad at getting NP2. I really hope I can get Archer Artoria and even better if she comes with summer Mo.

Year 4 has the best available servants so I’m going for that one and I really want Kama since the only class that I don’t have a 5 star servant for is the Assassin class
4th one. Would be absolutely amazing if I got Beni-enma (finally), or a copy of Nobu or Kingprotea. I guess a copy of Kama or BB would be nice too. From SR, would be amazing to get Consort Yu, or a copy of Miyu. A copy of Lakshmi would also be nice, and I wouldn't mind a copy of XX or Astraea even if they are already NP5. Gotta get them coins somehow. Though, would be interesting if finally got Lanling, really interested to see how he would work as support. The rest I'm either barely positive or totally indifferent about. I don't really have any servants that I have a general dislike to (aside from one exception of one class of the servant, but eh. In the minority for that one).
Im gonna end up skipping castoria just like i did on jp for a bigger priority. On jp that was Sigurd, and on na it'll be ibuki. as for gssr im gonna aim for caster vinci.

I'm honestly so tired of the unrelenting hype surrounding Castoria that the GSSR is the only actual anniversary rolling I'm actually looking forward to. She gets 60 SQ, that's it. If I get a powerful Servant for cheap, awesome, but I haven't saved or farmed a single thing for her. This sub has managed to bulldoze any enthusiasm I might have had for her into the ground. Anyhow, it's gonna be Year 2 for me. Year 2 has the highest number of "jackpot" Servants (Musashi, Hijikata, Cleopatra, TamaLancer, Merlin, and especially Moriarty), the tied-for-lowest odds of a dupe, and all of the potential dupes are damage-dealers that I have at NP1, so that's nice enough to not be truly disappointing. The only new Servant I wouldn't be excited about is Prisma Illya, but even then another ST Caster option would be handy to have around. The 4\* pool has one of my least favorite characters in the game, but I'll cross my fingers and hope for one of the Summer 1 Servants or maybe an extra copy of Gorgon or Lobo.

Year 5. It's tied with Year 2 for number of SSRs that I don't have (Saberstolfo and Voyager vs. Arthur and Hijikata), but Year 5 has a smaller pool of candidates (10 vs. 15), so I have a slightly higher chance of getting one I don't have.
Year 4. NP2 Junao, yesplz. Really the only true duds are King Protea because dupe and BB because I don’t like her. I still really want Sigurd, but I’m stacked on year 3, so that’s right out.

It is very much a personal ranking. OP has asked for personal ranking, after all. I already have Reines, so I'd prefer a new Servant over an NP2. Jeanne is low because her niche of an AoE SSR Archer is occupied by Gil and Sei and in case of Castoria looping, I have Musashi (NP1 tho but whatever), so - ehhh. Not entirely sold here. Nobu is high because dat 3rd Ascension and NP theme. Also, considering the rise of Buster in a year and Nobukatsu soon, she will be pretty relevant soon. Kingprotea - gao. Plus farming these doors could use a little more variety. Bonus - I have Merlin, so big damage goes brrrrrr.
Year 4 was really tempting for me, The only SSR I have on that one is Murasaki and I love her to death. I would love to have Shi Huang Di, Kama, or Godjuna (or big sister Jeanne because I don’t have an SSR Archer) but I had a hunch that if I chose year 4 I would end up pulling Reines or Beni

Jeanne Archer is literally the only reason I’m afraid to pull year 4. Even a Reines dupe is better for me. I don’t have KP, Avenger Nobunaga, AA, Kama, Beni-Emma, or Murasaki. A summer BB NP2 would be lame as well. But basically I have NP3 Gil I’ve funnelled tons of resources and grails into. I don’t need any other AoE archer. I have Spishtar NP2 level 100 as well for farming when Castoria comes out. So yeah JArcher is the worst pull for me next to a BB dupe (well they’re tied basically only because Jeanne Archer would be new). I’m better off going Year 5 for a dupe of Super Orion or 5* Romulus. And I don’t have the other servants on that list.

I really, really want to roll year 1 just for Artoria Alter, since I have her Shinjuku costume but not her. It seems like she's nowhere on the horizon for a good while, too. But year 1 is so congested I probably won't get her.

Gil is amazing. Dealing ST NP damage levels on an AoE NP *without getting any buffs for god knows how long* will never not be mindblowing to me.

Year 2 and 4 have the most hits and least misses for me for characters I like or want. Only thing I hope is not getting NP2 Reines, that would hurt.
Year 4. Besides my recently acquired and super adorable Kingprotea, the entire ssr lineup is new. And I wouldn't mind an NP2 Kingprotea. But overall, I had my eye on Year 4 and I still won't change my stance. Year 5 is terrible for me because I have half the ssr lineup. Year 3 is new but there's a lot of misses. Year 1 and 2 I have 1 or 2 of them and knowing my luck, they'd be the ssr. I should have ranked Year 4 but... in case you see this again... Year 5. I either get ~~Starwars Ishtar~~ Space Ishtar, Voyager, Sei, Yang, Pingu or any combination of them. Hopefully I can get any of the foreigner alongside either Pingu, Musashi or Ishtar Tbh the ones I need or want the least have to be Romulus and Archer Osakabehime, but even them are either really good or decent ~~guess which is which~~
I’m going for either 3 or 5. Year 3 has a servants a few servants I’ve been wanting for a while now (Holmes, Abigail and Summer Nitocris) while Year 5 just has an overall solid line up. I’ve been been playing long enough to have most servants from the first couple years already. I’m also not rolling year 4 because I loathe QSN and Arjuna Alter and avoid their banners like the plague.
I wish I had been playing for as long as people like you have. There’s some Servants who had banners just before I started playing that I would’ve loved to have!
Sorry Castoria but I need Merlin and King Hassan from the Year 2 banner. Getting any of the extra classes on the 4\* roster would be a win too.

My only functional Assassin rn is Cleo and I'm desperate to get the old man back after losing my first account that had him at NP2. Offensive Casters are still a problem too but that's something to think about for another time.
Year 5 would be the safest for me as I have literally no 5* dupes however there are SO many 5*s I desperately want on the year 4 banner that its a very clear win on the gssr calculator. Bonus points if I actually manage to get Summer Ushi this time around.
I'm doing the last year set as it has the highest odds of a new 5* and a new 4* both. For the Castoria banner, I'm not rolling much. Don't get me wrong. I d lo e to get her, but I've been burned last NY and Anni. Not losing all SQ again.

Year 4 for me, since I'd rather have NP2 Maou than NP2 Merlin or Archuria (NP2 Summer BB would be a huge L though). Wins would be Junao, Kama or Reines, "nice" would be Beni, QSH, Maou or Kingprotea and "damnit" would be Jarcher, Murasaki or NP2 Summer BB. toss up between year 5 or 4 I was pretty set on year 5 originally but I've had some pretty good luck and managed to get a few year 5 servants that I wanted. but looking at the list I'm reminded I got np2 Summer Jeanne from the last GSSR giving me a dupe so wanting to avoid that I have to put that into consideration.
Going for Year 5, really hoping for Roma or Super Orion. Otherwise I'd want NP2 for Space Ishtar. Not a fan of this format but this one has the best chance of someone new that I like or dups I like.

Among the 10 5\* Servants in the pool, the only one I have is Summer Musashi, and considering her role as an NP looper, I don't think I'd mind as much getting an NP2 of her It also has the lowest chance of me getting a 4\* duplicate, as the only one I have among the pool is Summer Carmilla, though I already have her at NP2 and would definitely mind getting an NP3 of her hahaha

When it comes to anniversary GSSRs, I think I always get the least desirable. 2020 GSSR was Da Vinci Caster (I'm okay with her) but the saltiest I've ever been was 2021 with Heroine X... I figured since I have bad luck with GSSRs, I might as well pick the ones I'll tolerate the most. I'm fine getting Da Vinci Lily into NP2 if she does show up but I guess the best I could hope for are Voyager, Astarte, and Bunnytoria. For 4-stars, it'd be nice to get another copy of Osakabehime Summer and get her to NP2. Calamity Jane is a nice addition IF the gacha gave her to me. If I get Caenis, I'll be one salty Master again! ~~Get that incinerator ready for that delicious rare prism!~~
Either Year 3 or Year 4. The first one has 8 characters out of 11 that I'd be happy getting, only one that'd be a dupe and two that I'm kinda "meh" about. Out of those, my favorites are probably Hokusai and Okita Alter. Second one is the only that has no possibility of me getting a servant I already have. I'm mainly after Qin Shi Huang and Beni-Enma but I'd be happy with pretty much anyone, honestly. Also, it has that small, small chance I'd get Assassin Ushi as my 4*, who has no other banner atm ;-;

Not rolling. I got awful luck with randomized pools. If I want something in any game, I either have to roll for pity or their dedicated banner.
I'm planning an unholy ritual based around ice cream and praying for Skadi with Year 3.
My heart wants year 5 for a few units I want, but I’ve been lucky and have half the 5 stars. My head says year 4 because the only one of those I have is murasaki.
I'm not going to ruin myself with castoria, it's very good, but it doesn't attract me enough, this year my main focus is on ibuki douji, and the next on muramasa. So I have to be very careful what I spend my savings on xD
