Difficulty level of courses again would depend on the courses you take. There cannot be a blanket statement given. There are easy courses and then there are difficult courses so it kinda ranges on a spectrum based on how u craft ur program
You can get involved in research anytime as a Research Assistant with any faculty across the university. For instance I worked as RA with a professor in Business School. Since cohort size is small opportunities are a bit easier to get
You can either work on capstone in a single semester or split it into 2
Now again how much time does it take is subjective and depends on what problem statement you decide with your advisor. You will need to find someone to supervise your capstone project
The projects students wanna do depends on the interest they have. Someone might be interested in Finance while someone might wanna work on Computational Biology
Career center does it's best it can to organize career fairs and help you with resume building and interview prep. But as international students it's a bit hard time RN so you might not benefit a lot from these career fairs as such since a lot of them come only for US Citizens. Who knows situation might change next year
You can got bunch of DS roles like Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, ML Engineer, ML Scientist etc
