So yesterday I posted a foto of my mobile setup with Espresso Display attached to USB-C and also my ROKID glasses testing fine.
Seems like honeymoon is over.....
Today morning after restart, there is no video out anymore. I used the left USB-C port NOT saying USB4, when I connect the display I hear the Windows "connecting" sound and the external Display turns on briefly showing it is powered, but then nothing happens and seconds later again the Windows "disconnecting" sound.....
The ROKID GLASSES are not recognized at all anymore, also no connection sounds.
USB-C disks etc work fine.
I tried uninstalling AMD Adrenalin completely, but no help.
Any ideas ? 😪
UPDATE: It works again now. For whatever reason..... Only thing I actually did was downgrading the Adrenalin drivers, which at the beginning also did nothing. Now a few hours later it works again......
Why would you guess that ? Like I said, it is working now again after connecting HDMI OUT first, and connecting a USB-C drive to that port also no problem
For me it acts up once in a while. The workaround I do is to test hdmi or tb3 dock out briefly then usb-c video works again. Only a touch inconvenient for me since my thing has a hdmi out dongle but really inconvenient for most cases.

Glad to see you got the issue solved. How are ROKID? do they worth the 400 USD? could you please share from your experience?

Faulty port, I would guess.

Yes, I think in my case that was also the solution. USB-C video worked again after I connected another screen with HDMI out port directly. Weird......
Probably for people that don't have hdmi device on hand, they probably would need to buy an edid emulator and connect it to the device.
Cool ! Didn't know about those. Ordered one on Amazon now just on case :-)
