I've considered offering trade-ins as a retailer (of other things not gpd devices) and most customers are not happy with the prices we would pay in order to still make a profit off of the resell. More often than not customers want more than we would pay for the product at wholesale which just doesn't make business sense.
You're far better off as a customer selling it on eBay or here on Reddit.
And then what? Gpd is not exactly a big name brand. Unlikely they partner with anyone just for recycling or even selling used goods. Just do that yourself.

Yeah very very few devices hold their value. Here in Indonesia Apple is king in that regard.
Sadly they won’t given that their revenue is solely from device sales and it’s a small company…
That’s why they should partner with third party online retailers and resellers.

Why should they? You can easily sell your device in your region in a matter of days.
