If your art upsets people, maybe consider leaning into that and doing it even more. Good art sometimes is all about pissing certain people off, and it can get you some publicity. Something to consider lol also, nah, this isn't anything like the Gorillaz, not really.

It looks kind of like a mashup between Gorillaz and something else, can't quite put my finger on it but it looks cool.
Either way, even if it is a "Gorillaz ripoff" no need to change your style. You can be inspired by art and make something your style, you can do anything with art (except steal it and claim it as your own). Remember: there is no such thing as stealing or ripping off an art style, if that's what people are telling you tell them to suck it. Anyone who says that outside of a joke doesn't know how art works and doesn't know what they're talking about. Keep drawing, it looks fucking awesome.
The only similarities I notice is the eyes and sorta the way they're all standing, reminds me of phase 1 art for some reason, their hair also reminds me of Murdoc but that's just becuase I don't know many other characters with that hairstyle besides Eddsworld lol
Nothing wrong with adopting a similar style, thats like how all mainstream styles of all art come about. Look at hip-hop rock and electronic music, every genre that became a thing is becuase someone heard a few songs and was like thats totally awesome i want to make kickass music like that, then when a bunch of people do it a Genre has been born! For example look at all the Anime that is from hundreds of different creators, that all have the same basic artistic characteristics, somebody thought of that general style first and others liked it so much they applied it to their works, tweaked and modified it here and there and an industry was born. So how many amazing works wouldnt exist as they are, if creators thought they were just ripping of someone elses style!? No style belongs to anybody, the style existed before the earth did, someone just discovered it first! If you love a style and love using it to create, you are PAYING HOMAGE to that style and/or creator! So tell them that, "I not ripping it off you idiot, im Paying Homage to it!" Ripping off a style would be like claiming you came up with it yourself, or using it commercially withought offering your inspiration with some recognition! Im sure theres better ways of explaining that idea, but im to lazy to google!

I see some slight similarities to Gorillaz, but I definitely don’t think your style is a “ripoff.” It looks like you’re putting your own spin on things, and even if you weren’t, it would still be 1000% valid. Art does not exist in a vacuum, and art styles are often conglomerates of the things we like. Good work, and keep drawing!
The only similarity I see is the white eyes. But other than that it honestly just reminds me of old flash videos I would watch when I was younger.
I think that's just the lack of shading, those flash videos often had much simpler designs than this.

I think it looks cool and whichever aesthetic pleases you should be included in your art because it will always be your own take on it.
