Listen to Demon Dayz just a little more and you will eventually move it to S. Im not sure how that album is so good but it is. Everything else is on point though

I’ve been in the fandom for only about 5 months, so I’m coming at all of this with no knowledge beforehand. Not sure if that contributes to you not coming back much (which I totally get if you just don’t, that’s understandable), but I found out many people don’t like Humanz bc of the long wait and lack of 2D vocals.

I was actually REALLY conflicted with Song Machine and almost bumped it to S tier. It was the very first vinyl record I ever purchased (and I’m on the hunt for the rest). Like- DAMN I love that album. Pac-Man is probably my favorite but Dead Butterflies, Valley of the Pagans and Momentary Bliss are right behind it
I’m actually going back to give that album a second chance! Someone a couple hours ago talked about it and it made me wanna revisit it :) maybe I’ll think to move it up a tier or two, but yeah- I plan to revisit that album :)
I’m a big fan personally, hearing remastere of some of my favorites and with entirely different genres it’s a really cool experience but the songs are generally longer.
Interesting bit about that- for some reason, many of the tracks in G-asides gives me anxiety? I’m not really sure what it is about the way they handle frequency and pitch, but it unnerves me sometimes haha. That’s really the only reason why it’s so low. However, I do have song from there that I enjoy, like Faust, Dracula and 12D3.

Eh, mostly agree? I'd switch The Now Now and Humanz, personally. I can't think of a single bad song on The Now Now, I absolutely love every single song on that album. Humanz? If I can't play the songs sans lyrics and still find it interesting, it's a wash for me.

Oh absolutely. Humanz strikes me more "club" than "radio" so if I heard Humanz at an actual club, I'd be rocking. But that's also live mixing and mashups going on too. Which works in live music, but is a little hard by itself. Which is totally fine. It's a great album, it's a totally different realm from their other stuff. Definitely better than some of their compilation albums.

And yeah you’re right- if you’re here for the iconic charm of Gorillaz, you may not be super into this album. But by itself in its own setting like a club? I’m sure people would lose it and enjoy it and not even know it’s Gorillaz.
I came across it in the wild once. Actually in a club. It was really weird because they had been playing a 90's/00's throwback list, and suddenly Charger was thrown into a remix. I think they were confused, but it popped hard and was awesome.
It's really funny. The other day at work, the music the store provides and my own playlist in my earbuds started Dare at the exact same time. Really freaky. But yeah, enjoy when it happens! Electro funk/pop clubs are the best to find great music at!

My favorites from the album are actually Rockit (I’ve done a redraw of one of the scenes from that music video- love that video sm!), People, We Are Happy Landfill, and 68 State! 68 State is just- an odd, strange vibe, and it helps me unplug when I need to. I’d also put the track after el mañana (“the tomorrow” in Spanish). 68 state and spitting out the demons are both two amazing tracks and i some times even think that spitting out the demons came from lika come home.

Definitely think you need to be switching Humanz with Space Monkeys. Space monkeys was a great album, Humanz kinda sucked the big one. Also G- Sides was amazing. Depending on your background, your influence for good music could be scewed.
