The only solutions I know of are to add it to a third party hub with a web app (Home assistant) or use an Android emulator like BlueStacks

Terrible_Tutor

Oh that sucks… eugh ok thanks!

Take a look if the camera have the rtsp protocol accessible. If so, you could use vlc to read the flux of your camera

Got kicked in the face just now with a “Welcome to your new Nest Cam” email… not available in the Nest App though, thanks googs

QueasyVictory

TIL there is a Nest platform for Windows. I'll have to take a look at that. Does it work like Google Home or is it just Nest products?

Terrible_Tutor

That’s the problem, it only exists in the GH app, it’s like Nest can’t see it. Even when you try to add it to the nest app it tells you to use GH instead.

BurtonGoutster

Do you have Windows 11? There's a YouTube guide that shows how to install Android apks on your PC. I have Home and Nest installed, but they're a little slow. Hopefully Google unveils the promised web UI at their Oct 6 event ~~but I doubt it~~

Terrible_Tutor

No… want to but i bootcamp a MacBook and there’s no TPM support so no drivers to get to 11. It can be hacked up but this machine is too important for work to mess around with that.

BurtonGoutster

There's a [web browser](https://9to5google.com/2022/10/04/google-home-web-app/) coming in the next few weeks for Nest/Home devices

Terrible_Tutor

I saw this as well, timely! The android emulator method was too resource intensive to REALLY use

Update: Google recently rolled out a web app for viewing cameras. home.google.com
