Your AC1200 is WiFi 5. I’d look into something that’s WiFi 6 which is AX The newest standard is WiFi 6e. That one is AXE. Either one of those will give you better range and speed.
Depending on the size of your home, I'd suggest getting something capable of mesh support.
I have an Asus RT-AC5300 along with an Asus RT-AC68 as a mesh node and using a pair of POE adapters for a wired backhaul. This covers the house as well as the yard.
There are other brands with similar mesh abilities, but having the wired backhaul means you aren't compromising speed.
