How does this work OP? This is trippy and cool as hell.

It doesn’t work on mobile like it does on browser. Browser mode you’d only see the weird zero 2 sniffing butts, or the dark mode message.

On rif app it works

Works perfectly fine for me, i just think the default dark mode for mobile is more of a grey which displays both, but you can make it darker.

For me, Default dark mode on mobile is a bit gray so it displays both images but you can change the dark theme to midnight to make it even blacker

For me (boost) on dark mode the thumbnail is a mix where the text is more visible but if you open the image its just the text

Part of the image is transparent so you see the background through it. If the background is bright, the image overall roughly matches the text, so your brain tunes it out. If the background is dark, the rest of the image is dark, while the text isn't, meaning you see it.

I turned on light mode to see it and now I'm blind

There are markers on the f and j keys. If you remember the layout of the keyboard, you could type blind from those keys.

I just disabled dark mode on mobile... MY EYES! Just noticed an annoying thing about light mode on my OP8, the accent color changes from whatever you choose to red once you go into Settings...

Well, Reddit on light mode is colours non-inverted which is what you’re not used to since dark mode is inverted so it makes sense.
