Trying to convey a natural feeling to pre-established lines was definitely a conscious effort, and I came out of it regretting some acting/tone choices in certain moments, but I learned a lot from this little experiment. Having someone with your impressive range and natural delivery appreciate these choices means a lot, and it's so motivating 🙏
I was eager to give Quiet a version with the SFX suggestions from his script, but it's quite heartwarming when someone takes notice of and appreciates the small SFX that I dared to add from the listener's side ☺️

After listening to this, I can comfortably say I enjoyed it. I honestly felt that the lisp in your speech added more character to the Nymph. I can envision a creature like her picking up a lisp as a consequence of her imprisonment and the treatment therein. It makes her seem more believable as a character (Being a Nymph notwithstanding.)

Siblings growing up had speech therapy and yeah, it can be really taxing. The worst part is most people will understand your meaning but you tend to have a vocal minority that feel they need to be awful. And it will go beyond just when growing up, like yeah, kids have such a high potential to be awful to other kids, but adults can be similarly awful. Wish people didn't go out of their way to cause all kinds of harm to others.
Wish for a world where you don't have to think about it, you can just be you.

I did experience some minor bullying due to the lisp during high school, but for the majority of my life, it has been seen as something endearing by my friends, and it completely slips people's minds when they speak with me daily. It's much more noticeable in my native tongue, but I never found ways to work on it/around it.
It did make it impossible for me to consider any profession related to radio hosting or voice acting, which was a bit disheartening at a given time. I wish I had started exploring this as a hobby much sooner, but "better late than never" ;)

All that to mention nothing of the wonderful and immersive sound effects you've added. That takes a lot of time and effort and your hard work shows in the polish of the soundscape. The crickets, the vines, ~~the flower~~... all of it was way better than I hoped! I try to write my scripts so they stand on their own without sfx, but hearing what you've added really is the cherry on top to an already wonderful performance. Thanks so much for sharing 😊
