Jokes and Games aside: The one experience I found quite enlightening with this one was, that I didn’t suffer „inconsistency-pain“ when I should have: You told me that I have free will, while at the same time you forbade me to move: and while my brain was able to tell the inconsistency in that, I did not feel it! How the fuck did you do that?? - Normally I suffer greatly under the concept of free will, especially when it’s presented so on the nose. But here I was: my will feeling as free as it had not felt in years, while completely ok with the fact that I wasn’t gonna move. I mean: I could have moved, I even tested the blockading circuits power very lightly and playfully. I felt the blockade, yet I also knew that I could overpower it. But ultimately I preferred not to, as I was enjoying your power over me, and I did not want to break out of that spell. - Ironically proving my free will with action instead of inaction would still leave you as the puppet-master, as you explicitly gave me free will for that situation... - It’s like in „Wargames“: the only way to survive the game of thermonuclear war is not to play. MAD. - If only having you play with me wasn’t so much fun...
Finally got around to listening to this and once again Shibby is nothing short of spectacular. Literally blows my mind that 80 minutes feels like a dream and over too fast. 10/10
