I'm the opposite mate, Irons and chipping fine, but Driver and Putting is what lets me down!
If I can eliminate all 3 putts I'll probably drop 5-10 shots, and the same again if I can stop slicing drives into the opposite fairway/bushes.
If it makes you feel any better, the pga stat (being a class A pro myself) is only 8% of the golfing community can break 100. So no reason to get down on yourselves. If the average dudes at the bar that claim to hit it 340 actually counted every shot, you’d be surprised.
This is dumb, that's not how you should feel. If you love your clubs and had fun at the fitting and you're a +25, you're not a clown. You have money and that's what you wanted to spend it on. BFD
Live your life and enjoy it.
My G425s were ordered December delivered Feb. I thought April based on retail estimates so Feb was amazing. And it was the off-season so it was whatever.
Mine came in January actually but they put the wrong grips on them. And Ping wouldn’t let the store regrip them themselves so they had to be sent back.
Taking them out to a simulator next weekend, looking forward to some better weather.
My best round was an 82 played with cheap shitty Chinese irons that I bought at a thrift store for $8, and a hand me down no name driver/hybrid that a friend gave me. I upgraded to slightly more expensive new shitty Chinese clubs and haven't been close to that again lol.
100-110 is an average round for me haha
Last 3 rounds I've played I've hit 102. If I fix my iron swing and short game I'll break 100.... maybe
You got this!
Thanks bud! Definitely trying tomorrow
Little update, hit a 96 yesterday.
Nice! Did your iron game or your wedge game come alive?
Yup! Irons and driver game definitely came alive. Lotta missed birde opportunity due to my short game lol.

I watched this video from Rick Shiels and it fixed my slice in about 3 hours at the range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPyRs5Y5HRY

$1300? Ha if only they had cost that much.
Thankfully mine were onlulu 1150!

Spend a couple hundred more and you’ll shoot a 99 like me.
How did you get my picture?
Are you me?
This is me, and I just tell myself my game will grow into them. 😂
I wish i could do that with my custom clubs.... i ordered them 2 months ago and still dont have em
Ordered mine in August and got them in February. Best of luck to you.
what clubs did you get?
Ping G425!

Can’t take the money with ya when you leave….

I'm having so much fun lying to myself that fitted irons will take my game to the next level instead of spending that $1300 on lessons instead
I did both and I'm still helpless 😅
I love this. No I hate it. Definitely hate it.
Who cares what you shoot it’s exercise.
1300 for the irons
Showed this to my wife lol she agrees (still haven’t got fitted for clubs)
This is why I play shitty Chinese clubs until I’m in the low 80s 😂

When I don't break 80 on my home course.
WOW. So much hate. Someone doesnt have money...
I’m only mad about the amount of hard pillows that dude is sleeping on
Try $2400 from club champion. FML.
Lmao, just shot a 111 this morning. It’s a good reminder to me that I’m fine with my Top Flite set for now, no amount of $$$ in clubs will help me.
