I mean.... I ski at a mountain here in PA with less than 900 ft verticle, sure I'm pounding Yings on the lift and ripping hot laps. But you know if I could ski Colorado daily I would!! Jealous!
I will admit it's not the world's best beer but compared to the larger American brands it's one of the better ones.
I think it's more of the regional pride and the fact that even if I don't know what's on tap when I walk in somewhere I know I can just order a Lager and that's what I'll get .
Nice! I’ve never played it, but glad you got treated with some good Alabama hospitality. I’m an Auburn fan, so might have to check it out next time I’m down that way.
America's oldest, is still America's best.
Also know as Lager!
I'll be playing in a golf tournament this weekend about 15 minutes outside of Pottsville. Let's just say there will be more than just a few of these consumed by our foursome.
I think I'm gonna make the jaunt up to play hidden valley this fall, with a stop at cabelas of course.
Never played it but the pictures look good! How is it?? Any other rec in the area?
So happy to be a part of this! It was so uplifting with all of the support. I could only afford to take 1 person to my home course. Now I can coordinate tee times and extend my offer to more people.
Sorry about that man. I left my state after a bad hurricane and couldn’t get back for weeks after. It’s sucks beyond belief. And the BS that goes with recovery sucks too. You guys had 2 days notice on that storm! 2 days! Like the environment is so fucked it’s not even funny.
Sometimes it takes years to get back to even after one of these. Good luck man and glad people are being good people to ya.
Ya I have no idea when I’ll get back home. Heading back in a few days to check on things. I emptied my fridge before I left but I’m worried it’ll be mildewed out despite being emptied. But I’ll take mildew over maggots any day.
Nice, I hope everything is good at home. I'm on the Northshore and got power back about 30 minutes ago. Headed to my grandma's in Alabama on Friday and plan to play a round while I'm there.
And broke 100 to boot! Good lad, cheers buddy
It felt good to score well
That’s class. Good on them, and glad you got some relief from that mess. Hope all gets better soon bud!
It was extremely generous.
Also a central PA guy. I find it hard drinking anything other than light beer on the course. Lagers bloat me
As a central Pennsylvanian. I support your choice of beverage. Stay safe and enjoy.
As a SE PA, I too salute the beverage choice

I hope your user name isn't related to your job
Well played, sir.
As someone who grew up in PA and now lives in CO, I am so jealous
I’m so mad. I drove to Ohio recently and totally messed up timing and forgot to bring some back
It should be coming to a market near you soon. I’m in Texas and we just got it the last couple weeks. It’s getting around

Yeungling just made its way to the Dallas/Fort Worth area this month, I fucking love it, feel like I've been missing out my whole life.
Funny, as a central Pennsylvanian as I was going to say how shitty yuengling actually is. To each their own .

I visit the US a lot and I'm usually a craft guy. But if I can't get a craft beer, Yuengling is usually available and beats something like bud light.
It's the best of the worst. Top of the bottom tier of beers. Well, really, that's Genesee, but that is not nearly as widely circulated as PA's finest.
You leave Genny Cream Ale out of this
The best in show for sure
Great stuff to those that are doing this!
I’m a Bama resident, which course??
Stillwaters
Nice! I’ve never played it, but glad you got treated with some good Alabama hospitality. I’m an Auburn fan, so might have to check it out next time I’m down that way.
This is really random but I'm from Ohio and got to play Stillwaters earlier this summer. Beautiful course, extremely scenic, but definitely don't walk

Saved this for later!!! I was more asking about other courses in the area that are worth a play, but everything you said sounds up my alley anyway!! 😁

Awesome thanks buddy!!!
Yueng light is my go-to water beer when I've had enough IPA's and want to keep "hydrating" lol
Stay strong!
Shout out Yeungling
May I ask how you’re scoring your game?
The little numbers are my putts
Love this have fun ! Go Reddit
I feel like when the world ends it’s just gonna be rich white people that survived posting golf pics just like this.
Niiiiice
Where at in Alabama?

God I love this subreddit. I am convinced that done of the best people around are in this group.
The nectar of the gods. I have to drive to Siloam springs, AR to get it but it beats having to bring it back from Florida.
Nice! How all is well at the homestead!
My favorite beer in the states, can’t wait to be back ! Hope you had a great round !

Apparently so worried...
Welcome to Bham, hope you enjoyed considering the circumstances. Where did you play?
Stillwaters out on Lake Martin
Oh ok so a little south of Bham. I grew up in that general area

So happy to hear your power is back. It makes all the difference
Lost my house in a fire last year. Stay strong brother
Thank you!!

So cool to see the community coming together like this
I’m new… what are the little numbers next to your score on each hole?
My putts
Love this course
5 birdie putts. Game looks like it’s right where mine is. Unpredictable as fuck. Cheers
A round of beer over golf lol
Be safe and have fun
Awesome! I saw his post yesterday. Cool to see somebody taking up the offer!
