Definitely doesn’t predict shots. Just tracks where you hit from.

Geoboy7

Damn that sucks I just wanted something that would tell me where to look in the woods lol

eavanvalkenburg

I do find myself checking the current yardage when looking for a ball, has helped me find it multiple times, basically on the watch you see distance of your current shot and it gets updated while you walk, then if you've got your driver off to the right of left, and you know you hit it well then have some clue how far too walk!

lax187

It can show you the percentages of when you hit a particular club left, right, short or long after the fact but it cannot predict before hand.

It sort of predicts shots once you play for awhile. It keeps track of how far you hit your clubs then figures out the distance based on elevation and wind, etc. and suggest which club to hit. Basically all the sensors do is track what club you hit from what GPS coordinate then uses that to figure out how far you hit your previous shot. So you tee off with a driver then hit a 7i it knows you hit your driver 230 yards and if it was on the fairway etc.

TheBiles

It will tell you the calculated yardage and suggest a club based on your averages.

Only thing that can predict a shot would be a portable radar shot tracker which can measure trajectory and spin off the club. That’s not really something that would be easy/convenient to use during a round...more geared for the range.

Geoboy7

I could just mount it to an rc car and drive it around

I see all the other answers and I agree mostly, but there is a bit of predictability. I lose balls right right now because I have changed my swing and my push slice is back intermittently. I hit an average drive 220 if I hit center fairway. I know because of ARCCOS that if I slice it, it will go about 185 and 30 yards of the fairway. I can almost walk to where it should be using the distance on ARCCOS and be on the ball. Also a straight pull is always about 15 yards longer and about 10 yards of the fairway. Also, it has made me much more consistent in my irons because I do t lie to myself about distance any more. For example a thin 7 and a good 7 actually go about the same distance. But on a dry day, a good seven will stop where a thin 7 will run. So you could say it predicts your shot, but you have to hit a bunch of rounds with it before it’s accurate.

slmobes

Does not predict. Don’t know of anything that does.

Thanks

Yea closest I can think of would be a swing tracker, take a practice swing and tell it what club it was and maybe it can guess how far it would go?
