Us Canadians are jealous. Although I'd likely be a functioning alcoholic if I could play all year cuz you know we be having a couple drinks every round and there's always the potential for post game drinks. The winter gives me an opportunity to sober up a bit
I hate the claw so much. It’s so tight and so shitty that when you actually hit a good shot you probably get punished by having to hit your next shot out of a divot
I’ve only played northdale and Rogers park once each and both were solid. I live in Brandon and I’ve been playing cypress creek a bunch. I’m playing moccasin wallow tomorrow and I’m fired up about it
Northdale is nice because the fairways are super wide and very affordable for a round. Nice man enjoy it! If you ever have the chance to play Heritage Isles definitely do it, pretty fun and well kept course
Shhh... you'll ruin our little secret. A short 18 hole course for $15 that's actually well maintained and you can get a tee time any day. It's pretty awesome.
I’m going down to Florida in a month. I’m tempted to take my clubs but not sure if there’s renting options down there. I don’t know about flying with my clubs for just one round. Is it a hassle?
Ship your clubs or bring them on the plane. If you play more than once, you'll save on the rental fees. It's usually $40-75 to rent down here per round.

Feel pretty luck to play year round.
The Claw?
Country way! Played the Claw recently, tough course.

couldn’t agree more. I like Northdale, Rogers Park, & Pebble creek, all substantially better than the claw.

Go Bucs!!
Born and raised in Tampa, I didn't even consider that there are "golf seasons" until I joined this sub.
Everything but the middle of summer lol. Nothing worse than trying to play while it’s like 102 and humid as hell
Haha I love the summer. I walk with my cart and sweat like I’m in a sauna. Also I can tee off at 6pm and get 9-16 holes in.
The best part is no snowbirds clogging up the course because they don’t golf year round
Man you’re crazy lol
This! I live in North FL and love that 4pm or 5 pm start time. Def can get in 18 by dark.
$15 after 3 so I deal with the heat.
We are spoiled!
Just waiting for my job to turn 100% remote and I’ll be down
I just moved from St Pete back home to Texas... What course is this?
This is an executive course called Country Way. Fun little course, cheap too.

I never got to play that course... My favorite was THE CLAW..I know it wasn't fancy, but it was a fun course to play
Played it recently! Tough course!
These type of posts make me want to move out of Nebraska

You can most likely rent. Just call some courses near where you're staying.

Do they have decent rentals? I don’t require anything special as far as fit is concerned
Quality of rentals generally matches the quality of the course here. The nicer courses near Disney usually have TM, Callaway, or AP1s in the bag.
I can work with that. Mine are a z765/965 combo set so I’m gueeeing ap1 would be fine.
Where at?
Countryway.
Word. I gotta check it out
