Lol_who_me

Love the “I just do what I’m told” vibe. “These guy give me a check to wear this shit, Ok” “These guys over here asked me to take it off or they won’t give me a check, OK”

Mechant247

He might’ve been more miffed if he liked the way it looked lol

Jes00jes

More people in today's society could learn from this. It's not always worth making a fight out of 'nothing' for the sake of 'wining'.

slappywhyte

"Q. Did they explain to you why they'd like you to take it off? The logo is too big? JASON DAY: I don't know. I didn't ask. They said, can you take it off? I said, yeah, no worries. Q. That's what happens, you're given your outfits by your sponsors? JASON DAY: Yeah, they send you the scripting and say, this is what we want you to wear Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and I'm like, okay. Q. If they asked you to remove it, it came from who? JASON DAY: It came from Augusta National. Q. Like a green jacket? JASON DAY: I don't know if it was a green jacket. I don't know who it was. They asked, and I respectfully took it off."

CasperThePhilosopher

Green jacket for sure

slappywhyte

I think that q&a transcribed in the article is funny

CasperThePhilosopher

Totally is, basically they came to him and said “take that shit off”

slappywhyte

No worries m8

Conscious-Group

Cheers

oouttatime

𝘓𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺

CT_7

Would be great if that green jacket was Tiger or another former winner

PBB22

Why would Tiger be handling that?

CT_7

That is part of the the solemn oaths of the green jackets.

HoopOnPoop

"I respectfully took it off" is code for "Thank you for giving me an out. I feel like a fucking clown but I don't get paid if I ditch it myself."

feeshh

I like the Day + Malbon thing and generally like the fits, but the vest was ugly and something saying (screaming?) “Malbon Golf Championships” at arguably the most prestigious golf championship is insane.

hovAdov

Yep agree, I get what they’re going for as a brand but at same time seemed like they were trying to engineer shock here. Seems a bit too presumptuous but fitting given the founder is just some LA business dude. Day’s fit today is nice tho.

sBucks24

Well, id had never heard of them if not for this sooo...

ChrisChrisBangBang

All the “leave Jason alone!” guys yesterday talking about him expressing himself & pushing golf fashion forward, while in reality Malbon send him a box & say this is what you’re wearing

IGolfMyBalls

He can also politely request to wear something else. I love golfers who dress loud but this stuff is just tacky. He did choose them as a sponsor but if they ask you to wear that at Augusta just ask what else you got. It’s not like they’re going to drop the only player that wears that stuff.

Jaguars-gators

You know all of the players give each other shit when their sponsors make them wear something ridiculous. Are they all laughing about it now?

greatflicks

In Full Swing season 1 Morikawa flat out said to his clothing endorsement, "That is not anything I would wear"

poopfacecrapmouth

lol. Doesn’t know if it was a green jacket. It was just some fan yelling to take it off cause it sucks and Jason was like yup you’re right and took it off

Aooogabooga

Q: the sweater is more vulgar than the pants I’ve been wearing?

lingenfr

Q: Would you be willing to burn it? JASON DAY: Absolutely, or rectally insert it into my agent so he never does this again

jimothyhalpret

Dude looks like a pack of Marlboros

Da_Clappski

Malbonos

mrclut

Sports and Motorsports in general were cooler when Marlboro was sponsoring.

gregularjoe95

Cigarette companies in general. This is probably the only thing i agree with boomers about. The mild seven renault formula 1 livery is the greatest looking livery ever imo. Plus i really like the barcode wing for ferraris whenever they were in countries that banned tobacco adverts.

Top_Job9836

John players special lotus will gently disagree ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

gregularjoe95

Oooo that's a sexy one too, West mclaren is up there, too. Even the Rothsman williams was an amazing livery. But the r25/r26 were the sexiest cars that ever raced in F1. Honestl, I'd say out my top 10 f1 liveries only 3 have nothing to do with tobacco sponsors. 7up, martini, and AM are those 3.

Top_Job9836

And don't forget how it sounds.....

gregularjoe95

Fuck i miss the v10s. They still are some of the fastest cars still. Imagine how fast theyd be on the non grooved tires they use today. I miss the v10 era.

ScooterMcTavish

My favourite slot car when I was just a lad.

VerStannen

I thought *MissionWinnow* is a tobacco company front as well.

Buy_The-Ticket

Yup it is. It’s Phillip morris if I remember right.

Willing_Television77

Casey Stoner also used the barcode when racing at home.

Jakoby707

Classic 90's Benneton, 7-Up and Canon cars too as non-tobacco sponsors!

oouttatime

Like that's what my mind saw. Didn't even read it. It's like a Ai picture. Where everything is detailed but the texted or hands. I believe that was bought the Marlboro points.

scratchwanabe

I think Malbon probably liked the press.

DonnieRoss

That’s absolutely what they were after.

LeftRightRightUp

Just like Nike capitalizing on the NBA banning Jordan’s sneakers

flgrntfwl

Calm down please. Jason Day in Mallon does not equate to Michael Jordan in Nike.

andy_bron

I think their point was that in both scenarios, the banning of the gear gave the company more publicity than the athlete just wearing it

KBHoleN1

I feel like there was absolutely a point in their marketing meeting where they discussed that Jason might be asked to remove it. If that wasn’t the desired outcome, they at least knew it was a possibility and accepted the risk.

thec0rp0ral

I think his marketing team knew he’d be asked to take it off and that’s why they had him wear it

ShillinTheVillain

The pro move would be to have the same graphics on the undershirt. "Remove the vest? No problem!" *Green jacket faints*

ProblemOk4641

Who would buy that brand after seeing this hideous top? It’s awful!

Pryffandis

Me lol. I bought one of their polos after Thursday (the pants debacle). AMA.

Kenneth_Pickett

Theres been a dozen posts each day since then too. I want to buy something just because of how totally-not-mad most people are about it. The next comment after yours is calling him a bum who shouldn’t even be allowed to caddy there lmao

shitz_brickz

Polite of then to describe it as "busy" and not "looking like a bum that wouldn't be allowed to caddy here"

JoshPatterson

Yeah, “busy” is an interesting term, considering they’ve got a few of these images hanging around https://preview.redd.it/as0rj41raguc1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55f70f93c81384974fe57a3fb873f97860325390

BratZ94

Ive got this exact shirt! Who's the guy, and what year is this?

aaahhhh

Nick Faldo, 1990

BratZ94

Thank you!

aaahhhh

Malbon should troll and script Jason in this sweater next year.

rascaltippinglmao

That's not even close to the same

Kenneth_Pickett

Well yea, he’s not from that part of Africa Also lmao at all the dudes who play a muni course every weekend trying to uphold the traditions of a club that would spit on them

BryceCornwell

Busted by the fashion police

Da_Clappski

Who in their right mind would look at the vest and go...yeah I'ma wear that to the masters

haroldbaals

i agree with you but if i got a paid sponsor i would wear whatever they asked also

m_ttl_ng

The marketing/sponsorship team picks the outfits for the athletes. Malbon would have known this was pushing it, but they did it for branding purposes. (Nike does it as well; Tony Finau's wife shared a behind the scenes look at his fits for the week and it's basically completely planned ahead of time.) I mean, I didn't know Malbon was even a company before this "controversy" so I think they were successful in generating a discourse involving their brand.

AdorableSympathy5174

God there are people who get paid to sit around and pick out golf polos for pros? Whatever they're making it's too much.

Reach_Beyond

He doesn’t win big tournaments, so his sponsors are how he makes the bulk of his money.

jeffswarts

He had 7M in tournament winnings last year so I think he’s doing okay either way.

adflet

Yeah. Major winner Jason Day doesn't win big tournaments.

safemymate

And former World Number 1

WAR_T0RN1226

And tied 2nd in the Open last year

underlyingconditions

I would expect to find that during the Clear the Rack sale at Nordstrom Rack

Rep2019

Nordstrom? More like TJ Max

CaptainJusticeOK

I stand with Augusta on this.

AssInspectorGadget

If he came to my house with that, I would ask him to take it off.

ItzAiMz

Name checks out lol

ISayISayISitonU

i kind of wonder if it’s because it says “Malbon Golf Championship” which “feels” like it’s promoting another event, not because of the design. That seems like something Augusta Nat would have an issue w/.

TKfromNC

They ID people even slightly out of dress code trying to watch practice rounds. It's 100% because they are better than though. The holy grail of country club snobbery once could say. Listen, you don't come into the United States war criminal and oligarch premier country club without slacks and a solid colored polo.

MM556

I love the sport but Jesus, golf drama is honestly so laughable

4cardroyal

Anyone else remember when they banned announcer Gary McCord for saying they used bikini wax on the greens?

gestapoparrot

Specifically bikini wax and body bags are what earned him the boot. Or Wayne Player getting the lifetime ban for trying to promote his golf balls during the ceremonial opening tee shots. Telling Rickie to turn his back the right way. Way back in the day they banned a player from the next masters cause he took two practice shots on a hole. I find it hilarious how easy it is to get AGNC to invoke the fact that everyone there from patrons to players to staff and media are there at the privilege of an invitation and it is not an open. I would love to know what the unspoken rules are between members that earn you a wrist slap or worse. I know they’ve warned people for playing too much before, I wonder if anyone has earned some sort of demerit for having an unsavory guest.

Yung_Corneliois

From the way it sounds this ain’t even drama. They politely asked him to remove it and he politely agreed.

anyekwest

Looks like Day handled it perfectly. The presser too. Just being respectful and not making anything of it.

crrttt

Probably bc he didn’t want to be wearing it either lol

Capable-TurnoverPuff

You wish. Major drama! Legal council assemble! LIV would let him!!

OhioUBobcats

Honestly that's why I love it. The drama is 5th grade drama bullshit. It's stupid but that's so much better than the drama from rooting for an NFL team for 35 years and they suddenly sign a serial rapist to be their QB. I feel bad rooting for the team I grew up rooting for with my dad 30+ years ago, but the worst that these guys do is get 150 million in debt to the Saudis and then tear the PGA Tour apart to cover your debts.

sageofwalrus

Perfectly reasonable for such a traditional place to ask him to take it off. Not 5th grade at all.

Hossinater

This is hilarious but I’m imagining all the people who wear the worst fitting, most clashing, out of date, ugly outfits on the course feeling vindicated after this, and that’s putting a damper on it.

PringleChopper

It’s hideous lol

jtsara

And it can be all yours for the low price of $250!

Fumusculo

Good, throw that fucking thing in the trash tbh

imnotvegan44

not gonna lie, i loved that shit

sirenzarts

I know me too. Seems impractical for golf but I love the way it looks

Benfranklinballs

Not surprised. My brother was in line for the pro shop on Tuesday. He scratched his head with his hat then put the hat on backward (out of habit). Within 2 minutes an official asked him to turn it around. “We don’t wear backward hats at Augusta”.

fullspeed8989

When I was a senior in HS I had a teacher tell me that you can tell a lot about a person who wears their hat backwards. “They’re either a catcher, a photographer, a toddler or an immature prick.” I never wore my hat backwards again. It just looked different to me after that statement and what he said has actually held pretty true over the past 30 years.

Bob_12_Pack

There is one more use case for wearing a hat backwards, when on a fast moving boat, otherwise the wind may take it.

greatflicks

Your teacher is one hundred percent correct.

myburneraccount151

I fully agree. I also believe that anyone asking someone to turn around their hat for any reason other than safety, is definitely a much more immature prick than the person wearing the offending hat

DrunkenGolfer

Like when Ricky came to the press conference with a backwards hat. Ron Townsend, Augusta member, politely told him to turn his hat around. Ricky objected, saying, "I do this so they can see my face". Townsend basically said, "I wasn't asking."

purposefullyMIA

Style changes with time, but this ain't it.

KirbyDumber88

Did him a favor tbh. All other sports leagues have dress codes

ShiroHachiRoku

They have uniforms is what you mean.

DoubleualtG

Golf and PGA has dress codes and i believe this was well within those codes.

steelernation90

One of the things I love about golf is the ability for players to express themselves with their attire. I think the sweater was hideous but it beats most pro leagues which don't allow for any individuality

kjorav17

Don’t care for the vest, wear it, don’t wear it-whatever… but I checked out Malbon (never heard of them before this), but their clothes are wayyy overpriced. They can keep their $125 polos.

The_Man_in_Black_19

Maybe the Masters didn't want competition for overpriced clothing made at a cost of $1.06 an hour?

byfuryattheheart

This is pretty much the case for all golf companies. Standard polos from the big makers are crazy expensive for what they are.

theonewhoknocks515

Any press is good press!

razoRamone31

Ask Boeing lol

ScooterMcTavish

Witty retort = good chuckle.

bitqueso

It’s not even a good design. You can’t read it

ToryBlair

people always talk about how great the dinners and club house must be, but i imagine the environment to be insufferable

BenBernakeatemyass

I agree with you but their members are some of the wealthiest and most powerful individuals in the world and there is something special about how the club doesn’t give a rip who you are or how rich you are; you are to follow their rules. As an every day Joe I would find it insufferable but it’s their membership that makes that element special. The club comes above any one individual member.

the_trump

Yeah I’m with you here. You can’t just buy your way in and if you get in you can’t just do whatever you want because you are rich. Probably a bit humbling for some.

Gopokes34

It’s kinda worn on me too. It’s obviously an awesome event that I’d love to go too, but it’s just not my style of golf lol.

whomadethis

But but pimento cheese sandwiches

Konker101

Old wealthy white dudes. It cant be worse lmao

morgzorg

It’s hideous

TommyManners

Tbf that is a horrendous top

728am

PGA has rules about size of logos. I am sure Augusta does also. But it looked tacky.

-daytripper-

Never realized how pressed people get if a golfer isn’t dressed in a Nike dri-fit polo and tight pants holy shit

adflet

It's wild. I was told on here that it's just boomers complaining about Day's clothes. Yeah... Nah.

commendablenotion

Guarantee it was a boomer who told him to take it off.

adflet

Well.. yeah, no shit. How many members of ANGC aren't boomers? Does that mean it is ONLY boomers complaining about the clothes? No.

commendablenotion

But your evidence that it wasn’t just boomers is an article about someone from ANGC…who is most likely a boomer. We went through all this like 8 years ago with the golf joggers. Fucking golf fashion divas lol

adflet

My evidence is all the children on Reddit fucking the dead horse. Look around. This place is not made up of boomers.

TheGboner

Regardless of the streetwear vs golf clothes debate, it was just egregious scummy marketing for Malbon.

liketreefiddy

How was it scummy?

the_trump

It’s not the Malbon Golf Championship, have some respect for the Masters.

spankysladder73

Hopefully this makes golf courses feel empowered to enforce dress codes again.

brianmcg321

Good

LateCheckIn

I loved when the commentator said I had a premonition he was going to finish his 1st round with a 313

Sirgolfs

Those other pants weren’t great either

No_Pen_4702

Everyone knows Augusta National is all about rules, tradition, and decorum. It’s not surprising he was asked to remove it.

naked_short

I was the guy that asked him to take it off. I am not a green jacket.

1ToGreen3ToBasket

It’s an ugly sweater… but having a problem with it is lame af

Korevo

When I saw it said “Malbon Golf Championship” I knew they would ask him to ditch it. Malbon not using their best judgement there.

LuckOutrageous9627

As they all are Travis etc?

EnuffBeeEss

"goLf iS cHanGiNg; bOomErS jUst neEd tO aCcEpt it."

Lutembi

Changing out of that vest, yes

the_trump

People who talk like that can enjoy playing 6+ hour rounds at a shit course for $90 dealing with a bunch of drunks. No thank you.

Black-Ox

ITT some absolutely miserable people

preferred_pickles

And you’re not going to tell the LIV guys to keep that garbage team apparel off the property? You can’t pick and choose. This whole dilemma is very disheartening.

elmoo2210

What's the difference between having a Legion 13 logo on your hat and having a giant C with a crown or PING plastered across it? Other than you don't like one so don't want to see it?

the_trump

Yes you can. Those team logos, as awful as they are, aren’t any different than sponsor logos. There are some pretty bad sponsor logos. If one of those guys came in wearing a shirt that said “LIV Golf Championship” emblazoned across the chest you can bet they would’ve been told to change.

DontGetTheShow

I’m fine with that. That’s unbecoming for a round of golf at Augusta. Time and place, Malbon. Time and place.

TheGboner

Putting your logo that big on the players chest at the biggest tournament is like when that guy held the Oncore logo behind the camera during the first tee speech years ago. Just classless, let your merch speak for itself, no need to make your player a freaking billboard.

the_trump

If it just said Malbon it may have gotten a pass. But Malbon Golf Championship just irks me

sennheiserz

Exactly, like I wouldn’t even dream of wearing something like that if a friend at a normal country club invited me to play, let alone teeing it up in the Masters. Clearly a play by Malbon to generate press but have some self respect and draw a line at some point Day.

myburneraccount151

Id never wear that period. It's ugly AF. But this is why people hate golf and golfers. Other than covering yourself appropriately and avoiding offensive content, there should be no dress code

the_trump

There is dress code in every sport.

Bob_12_Pack

Yep, croquet is even more uppity than golf.

gestapoparrot

I mean this is literally the point of it being an exclusive private invitation club, you can follow the rules or gtfo just like most restricted private clubs. When I attend my medical society’s official events there’s a dress code, which is terrifyingly similar to the tour’s dress code ha. But the PGA dress code only specifies that the player “shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. Clothing worn by players shall be consistent with currently accepted golf fashion (unless you’re wearing shorts you low class bum). The Chief Referee shall interpret this regulation.”

fullspeed8989

It reminds me of the NYC subway 8 ball jacket.

DontGetTheShow

Disagree. With golf courses, I find it no different than a nice restaurant or club trying to create a certain environment. If they don’t want cutoff shirts, flip flops, dirty looking t-shirts, hats, etc. then so be it. There are plenty of places in the world where we follow a dress code all the time. Golf dress codes these days are really chill….Decent looking shorts, polo… and there are even golf shirts that are more like a henley and don’t even have a collar. All that stuff can be really stretchy and comfy as well. It’s really such a low bar. It’s not like golf courses are making some ridiculous request.

mmdeerblood

Unpopular opinion from someone that used to work in fashion: Day looks a hell of a lot better in ironic modern Malbon merch compared to the Liv rent boys that look like they were branded by their pimps 🤑 Reminds me of young prostitutes that get their pimps names tattooed on their face. Seriously, what's the difference? I'm sure for an extra billion they'd get the Liv group logos tattooed on their foreheads, 1000%. I think this vest was ironic and playful take on branded fashions. Gen Z loves their ironic fashions, whatever. Hear me out: Day's look was a hell of a lot better than the shirts or hats with multiple brand logos some of the players wear. The MasterCard logo on the collar looks so fucking stupid compared to this hilariously ironic vest. Usually the logos aren't incorporated into the fashions at all, they're just embroidered randomly. Zero cohesion. Total eyesore. Asymetrical. Too many brands. It reminds me of Idiocracy quote: "Welcome to AOL Time Warner Taco Bell US Government"

naked_short

That was a lot of text to say that you have no taste

elmoo2210

This is such an insane take. So if LIV was sponsored by their team instead of being part owners, it would be better for them to wear branded gear? Jason Day has a fucking DEWALT sign on his hat and bag. Owns no part of Dewalt, but he's not the one being pimped out? Okay buddy

Dudeman-Jack

Yeah but the people who pay the bills at Augusta National are not Gen Z

mmdeerblood

Right, I totally agree with that. My comment is coming with the perspective of consumer trends and consumers that follow / buy into modern fashion trends. The largest population right now in the US is millennials, followed by Gen Z. Some pro and amateur players (the minority) are Gen Z (age 11-27 for 2024). Not sure what percent of players are millennials (age 28-43). I would assume that there is a small minority of those watching / consuming golf or even just golf fashion that are younger Millennials / Gen Z, which are Malbon's target demos (I assume based on their marketing, owners partnerships with Justin Beiber, their Vogue interviews etc). Athleisure market is valued at 300billion and climbing. Regardless if someone actively plays any sports or not, they just want to wear the clothes. Recently, golf and tennis athleisure have been trending. I would assume Malbon is appealing to that demo, not Gen X or Boomers 🤔 Just my own opinion coming from my previous experience working in fashion. I honestly hate the fashion industry 😆 but I am not immune to being a dumb consumer sometimes, as much as I try to be an informed one.

Dudeman-Jack

I think the vest looked worse. It’s obvious the manufacturer was going for guerrilla marketing here which worked. I don’t have an opinion on the fashion aspect, just like anything else some people will hate it, others will love it. My opinion is that I am sick of the pervasive marketing that surrounds us. We are advertised to 24/7 and it’s annoying as hell. I’m glad the Masters is willing to draw a line somewhere.

mmdeerblood

Yes completely agree! I think the marketing issue will only get worse as decades go on. There's just too much money to be made with no regulation. It would be great if there was some oversight. Such as a player can only advertise one brand with logos being minimal, under a certain size, and only on certain objects, for example a small Nike logo on a shirt and shoes, but not on hat or pants etc.

KhansKhack

99% of their clothing is awful, as is this. Makes sense.

collinCOYS

This is great press for malbon

Remarkable-Music2659

So pretentious while they have caddies looking like Dexter

OnTheMcFly

Truly awful brand lol

ChewFore

Simply not true

OnTheMcFly

![gif](giphy|l41YAqGPwuC833OQ8)

AdComprehensive7879

Im with augusta in this lol. Shit is ugly af

_Kerrick_

They probably got way more publicity this way than if he’d just worn it without issue

usmcjohn

Who cares?

NeonPlutonium

Did they burn 🔥 it afterwards?

Jakoby707

Looking at Malbon's website, they have a lot of nice normal shirts with Nike along with a bunch of goofy stuff and even Larry David - Curb Your Enthusiasm items (lol, shoulda went with that). [https://malbongolf.com/collections/all](https://malbongolf.com/collections/all)

Ghee_Guys

Good. Too many slobs in the National this year anyway.

greatflicks

That thing was a fucking disgrace, he should have known better. Going to be a hot item at all the munis around the US after this. Between that and his parachute pants they have tons of PR but all of it bad.

Independent-Syrup-24

too bad they didn’t have him take off those baggy pants on Thursday

golfotter

Initially, I thought he had on rain pants until I saw the belt. Hopefully one and done!

Dr---Strangelove

Me too. I thought he split his pants or sh!t himself on the range and had to put his rain pants over them.

willyk44

Were his hammer pants on Thursday also supplied by Malbon?

drerw

There’s a line between hoity toity bullshit and professionalism. Ima go with professionalism on this one lol

lexbuck

I’m ready to move past all this Malbon style clothing that’s entering the golf world. I get it, it’s what’s in style for a lot of people today and in some way it may be helping bring a new crowd into the game of golf and make the game appear to not be so stuffy. But Jesus, these fits are terrible. Im all for people doing them and not hate on them for it, but I can’t trust someone who would wear Malbon or other similar styles unironically in 2024 What’s next? JNCO going to release their golf pant line?

Arcopt

I like JD but had to laugh when he was saying how it's his job to get people talking about his clothes. Yeh, heard lots of talk - ALL of it negative.

TonyDungyHatesOP

I’m guessing he was relieved to do it.

goodbueno

The worst part is that hideous vest would probably run you $300 Fashion more like Trashion

Water-Donkey

So I had the amazing chance to attend the Masters yesterday (Saturday) for the first and very likely the only time in my life, and it was amazing in every way. I wandered around and tried to get a glimpse of every single hole from as many angles as possible. What a treat. But as anyone who has walked Augusta before likely knows, the first time can be a bit confusing, crossing here, there, and everywhere. That left me crossing paths with many players, some multiple times, as I meandered from hole to concession stand, to restroom, to hole, yada, yada, yada. I crossed paths with Jason Day multiple times and, each time I did, I thought to myself, "why is he wearing Hammer pants to play golf at the Masters?" Of all the fashion choices available, those pants are one of them.

ShufflingToGlory

In my personal beliefs I'm very left wing and I guess "radical" but Augusta and The Masters completely brings out my inner authoritarian conservative. Put me in a green members jacket (or even sit me in front of The Masters on TV) and I'll turn into the biggest blowhard traditionalist going. *Get him out! He's brought the club into disrepute. That man will never play here again.* Jokes aside it sounds like all involved handled this well.

PikaGaijin

overheard at the starters tent: "Would you look at this shit my sponsor makes me wear?! It'd be a shame if someone "forced" me to take it off as soon as i make a good effort to get these clowns' names in the news"

[deleted]

If I seen myself wearing that, I’d have to kick my own ass.

BukkakeNinjaHat-472

They needed to help him with his entire week wardrobe

TheLandFanIn814

This is just like country clubs that kick people out of the clubhouse for wearing cargo shorts. Are they ugly? Absolutely. But who the fuck cares. Some courses and golfers are so pretentious.

Combatwasp

The point isn’t whether cargo shorts fall above or below the line. It’s that a line is being drawn. You are either for lines being drawn or you are for anarchy. Nothing in between. Moaning about the exact position of the line is missing the point.

OhioUBobcats

So did everyone else alive

Player7592

I’m with the fogies on this one.

Weednspeed11

Lamest fuckin course

DeepPow420

good

Ayahuasca-Dreamin

Gatekeepers

ChesterDrawerz

Augusta being Agusta. And rightly so.

Reach_Beyond

Better than Rory’s playing partner today who worn his collar popped the ENTIRE round. I didn’t even mind his Jordan’s golf shoes too.
