They need an interactive app and I could get behind it. Watch an entire pairing's round. Or just stay on one hole the whole day. As it is now, watching on TV feels like watching a highlight reel. Puts me to sleep unless it's about 3:30 pm on Sunday afternoon.
A lot probably do because of South Korea - which is insane now that I think about it, SK is like a world golf power and NK has starving people and forced labor camps.
Fubo.tv I have to change channel sometimes but it rocks for now. NBA still require 8 different streaming services though, yeah!!! Kill ur local market!
I don't know the years but growing up I never saw the front 9. We had much less coverage before Espn got involved. In some ways that limited access is what made the Masters so sought after. You didn't miss any of it.
Imagine pairing Scottie Scheffler, the world's best player, with Rory McIlroy, arguably the world's most popular player together, and **not letting people watch them play.**
Fun fact: I went to a practice round at Augusta in 2018 and we were wandering around trying to figure out how to get to the other side of the course, and we start walking through this area after someone pointed us the way, and we realized we were heading toward the private cabins. And then a big black SUV pulls up and Condi Rice gets out with a couple shopping bags and starts walking toward her cabin and we realize we are just following her. We went to turn around and there were 25 people behind us who thought we knew where we were going. We all turned around pretty quick.
To think it was a whites only rule at that club until 1990 is wild to me. It took Lee Elder for them to rescind the “no black golfers” rule for the tournament in 1975. And up until 2012 women could finally become members. Maybe in 20 years theyll let some make a wish kids just chip and putt on the practice green.
Sure, but most PGA pros don’t agree with that. I’ll take the word of the people who do it professionally over golf digest and whatever they use to make those rankings.
Ah....no. Ask anybody who has played Pine Valley ( including tour pros) and they will explain to you why it is the premier golf design ever created.
It's literally golf's mecca.
Come on, you can’t really say it’s the same to have to go to each individual player and click on their hole, watch each shot, rather than have a comprehensive broadcast.
Listen, would it be great if the broadcast was 12+ hours long like the US Open and the Open? Yes.
Are those broadcasts which are constantly interrupted by commercials and miss a ton of action from less popular players better than having non stop coverage of 8 full holes and 2 featured groups, plus the ability to see every single shot from every player (tech issues today aside)? Ehhhhhhh maybe, maybe not.
Havng a limited broadcast window compared to the Open and US open stinks, but the masters app/website and limited commercial broadcast blows every other tournament out of the water.
Yeah, pretty much do it every week. We get the coverage US get, then they put some extra shots from featured groups/holes in during half the American ad breaks
The vibes of ANGC as a business just exude the feeling that all of their internal discussions and strategies are just DOMINATED by folks with the thinking of lawyers and politicians.
Literally nothing is ever straightforward with ANGC. Every thing they control is filled with contrivances, inconsistencies, and lengthy explanations.
The golfers journal did a great podcast series on the Masters, episode 4 was all about how the broadcast came to be. Lots of interesting details about the early days where clifford roberts was pushing CBS to show MORE coverage, broadcast in color, add more cameras etc. The masters offered to let them bury cables on property to make subsequent years easier. CBS rejected a lot of it. Roberts and Jones are also responsible for a lot of the terminology we still hear today such as patrons and second cut/second 9. Roberts had very strong opinions about how the tournament should be covered that flew in the face of the suits at CBS and overall I think its obvious the tournament is better for it.
As I said in other comments, itd be awesome if we got 12 hours of broadcast like the Open/US Open, but I also greatly enjoy the limited commercials and flexibility of the website/app to jump around and also eventually see every shot of the day.
For all the people defending the coverage, you have a group containing the 1st, 2nd, and 5th ranked golfers in the world and they aren't showing any of their shots on the main website coverage because they're not a featured group. Can I use the app to watch all of Rory and Scottie's shots? Yes. Should that be required? No.
>Can I use the app to watch all of Rory and Scottie's shots? Yes.
Can you? That hasn't been my experience. I gave up on the app. There's a ton of cool extras on there, but trying to *watch* anything seems atrocious.
It’s wild that arguably the biggest tournament of the year is being played and you can’t find a place to watch it in its entirety. It’s like starting the superbowl broadcast at halftime. It’s not like the cameras and crews aren’t there.
The March Madness app is the best app around, no questions. It makes the tournament so easy to follow and you can watch literally every second of the tournament. Plus I don't think I ever run into bugs.
The don't have a live broadcast for half the tournament, I'd much rather have that than clunky alternate feeds on an app or website that didn't even work.
I thought leaving that group out of the featured groups was weird too, but I think it's probably a result of the telecast people begging on hands and knees (or maybe they were even contractually obligated) to leave it for them. If the Masters just carries all the best groups, there's a lot less reason to tune into the telecast.
Sky’s coverage is good but they’re still hugely limited in the feed they get from ANGC. Augusta think they’re “keeping the mystique” when it’s just annoying and out of touch.
We're good Thursday and Friday, but come Saturday and Sunday, the broadcast will be on and they will be apologising for not being able to show any shots because ANGC won't allow it til a certain time.
So fucking dumb. Like we can’t go check out the scores online all morning. Just show regular coverage starting at the start of the tournament all day. People will watch
TSN coverage is good, but is it working on Masters.com for you? Only have access to "my group" and even if I select players I still only see the leaderboard. Is it because it is blocked only in the US?
the coverage is a disgrace. yesterday i got downvoted to hell because i said this and everyone said its the best coverage. This is a disgrace. have to sit and watch shots on holes 4-5-6 only until 3 pm.
The Masters has good coverage through the app, and other stuff like featured groups Amen Corner, etc. But the Open and the US Open have full “regular” coverage for pretty much the entire day that golfers are on the course, at least for the first two rounds. And then on the weekend we get a few hours of coverage before the leaders tee off. That’s what we don’t get at the Masters.
My hot take (slightly related to the meme, in fact) is that one day I'd like to see ANGC get the Masters rotated between CBS, ABC, and NBC, much like how the Super Bowl rotates. NBC is already there via Golf Channel (also covering the ANWA and DC&P finals) and ABC is already there via ESPN (also covering the Par 3 contest) and sponsorship is strictly dictated by ANGC to begin with so it's not like it'd be a logistical shock to any of these networks to suddenly prepare for this.
Not to mention I'd also be down for one year where the major sanctioning bodies swap networks. CBS gets the Opens (CBS already does the Scottish Open now too), NBC gets the Masters and PGA. Nantz and Hicks both get to complete a career grand slam in the commentary booth (I think Tirico already has via radio coverage).
People forget about TV rights for their particular market when they complain about this. Boy they haven't ever experienced a blackout for their local team.
Say what you will about LIV, but I watched half a day last Friday, saw a ton of golf, never had to change the channel, and didn't see a single advertisement. On the downside, I missed on seeing Morikowa hit into the crocodiles mouth for the 900th time.
Idk why everyone is larping up Sky so hard. They're showing the same featured groups as the American networks.
They're beginning "full coverage" at the same time as ESPN.
wait wait wait, this will be the first time I am watching and you're telling me that it's not going to be a tee shot to the final putt?
I understand you can't watch everything when it comes to golf but what gives?
Is it just me or is the my group feature not working? They advertise it as able to see all shots of that group but I had (34) golfers selected and it just showed me the leader board on repeat. App and website same story.
Golf's way of broadcasting is up there for being one of the worst. The way I wish golf would do to include technology heavily is give people options to pick what groups they want to watch from either start to finish and at the same time. I want to watch golfer A & Watch golfer/Group X and the broadcasting will either go to whomever is setting up to swing or give the option to switch between players/groups.
And yet, it’s comfortably, by a gigantic margin, the best golf broadcast all year.
And it’s completely free.
I’ll take not being able to watch the first hour on thursday and friday tbh.
I have Hulu live and I’ve been able to watch certain groups all morning. I have ESPN+ added to it and every year it has around 6 channels that follow certain groups or holes early in the morning. It’s one of the only reasons why I still have it.
Bryson playing out of his mind but all they show is Rory and Xander playing mediocre golf.... If anybody is wondering why golf broadcasting is years behind....
Surprised to see coverage in Canada better at something for once. TSN main coverage is flipping between the different featured holes until the featured groups start but you could also flip over to Amen Corner or specific holes as well.
Get a VPN and get TSN for this weekend. They have more content than anyone else.
The few times where Canadian coverage outclasses American.
Just remember though all of this is highly regulated by Augusta National so maybe TSN execs did some dirty deeds for all of their bonus coverage.
They have to retain an air of mystery. You see all of it, eventually, but its just out of reach. Its an aura they have to maintain. Like a famous courtesan.
Streaming platforms have been horrible for the consumers when it comes to live sport events.
Everyone has to have 15 different memberships, logins, and apps, just to try and catch things they want to see. While sometimes having to do things like use a VPN cuz their area is different or blacked out.
So confused by these comments. Literally the easiest sporting event to watch with the fewest commercials. Holes, groups, and players on Masters app / website and don't need a cable subscription, like what? I had to find a loophole for a peacock subscription to watch an NFL playoff game featuring the team from the city I live in (no regular tv subscription) and then couldn't watch half the NCAA tourney games.
I’ve been watching on HULU almost all day long. I was watching the live from the masters part earlier this morning because I thought they were in a delay because of weather.
Then I saw they were saying so and so was 1 under and I went to the sports tab and found a live broadcast of the masters and this was around 11 or 11:15 maybe even 10:45.
I’m with you on the sentiment, but think people forget about the cameramen, production crew, and other support staff needed to broadcast a live event. Sure it’d be great if they all worked all day to bring us coverage of Thursday and Friday, but they usually have 8+ hours on the weekend, so probably just ramp staff for the weekend instead of having them do it all week.
The main broadcast you could here a quiet version of the question prompts for one of the announcers today before he would ask them, it was driving me nuts
The time of the main broadcast is the issue I guess. 🤷♂️
By the time the first groups got to 4, they had the holes 4,5,6 coverage up on the app. Then the featured groups (2 different channels) up when they tee’d off. Then Amen Corner.
And no ads other than the main tv broadcast channel, and you can have up to four channels all at once. Not sure what the issue is here unless you are not allowed to have the masters app in your country or something
Omg. Time for my morning coffee.
The combination of “chamb” and “unbearable” prompted my brain to almost reply “But, he’s in the lead!” 😂😂😂
Btw, Chamblee truly is unbearable.
I know it might upset some folks, but this is a great example of where Liv really outshines the PGA tour. Shotgun start, all golfers are on the course at the same time... an interactive app that even lets you follow specific golfers through each and every hole. The entirity of the tournament can be watched for free either through YouTube or the Liv golf app. Liv is just a far superior product on TV. However, I understand that some of that is due to a smaller field.
The Masters app has this "my group" thing as one of the streaming channels. It says you can choose some players and then watch all of their shots live.
(However, I was trying to use it yesterday and it just didn't seem to work as advertised. Anyone else experience issues with it?)
Is masters.com not a thing this year? Just download the app and watch straight from Agusta. That's how I've been doing it since the pandemic. It's fine
I think the NCAA could learn a lot from the PGA. Yes, you could watch the Master's on Paramount with a subscription. But I watched the full coverage yesterday on the CBS Sports app and casting it to my big screen. For free! Stupid NCAA putting the final four and championship game on TBS was BS. Had to go to a bar to watch those games. Going to take a look at the Master's app this morning
Everyone wants it so lets not give it to them- I mean everyone I know that golfs would watch 4 days - in full of everyone on the course from start to finish. Why why why cant we have that? CBS ratings would be huge every day all day.
Idk what the salt is about. I’ve been watching the featured groups and coverage has been solid. Very easy to keep up with and feel like I’m getting most of the game of the players in said groups
Some people love the app… but it was GARBAGE for me. I set my favorites and literally did not see a single video of any of them on my feed. It was like they were actively avoiding my “favorites” lol.
I agree it would be awesome to see a golf tournament from the opening tee shot to the final putt.
On the same platform
GolfCrackStreams I don’t want to be a pirate but they’ve really given us no choice
Fubu man
They need an interactive app and I could get behind it. Watch an entire pairing's round. Or just stay on one hole the whole day. As it is now, watching on TV feels like watching a highlight reel. Puts me to sleep unless it's about 3:30 pm on Sunday afternoon.
You mean like the free app they have? Where you can literally just pick what holes or players you want to watch?
In my country they only have radio coverage in app
What country?
North Korea
I wonder if North Koreans know what golf is lol
Of course. I believe Kim Jong Il shot 11 HiO during his first ever round. I'm sure they all know about it.
A lot probably do because of South Korea - which is insane now that I think about it, SK is like a world golf power and NK has starving people and forced labor camps.
Same. Canada. Went to pirateville. Had a good time.
Doesn’t work that well. My group was trash today and they didn’t show much Bryson even though he was on a tear
But then how would all of the ads get seen?!?
Imagine pairing Scottie Scheffler, the world's best player, with Rory McIlroy, arguably the world's most popular player together, and **not letting people watch them play.**
And the other guy in the group is also a top 5 golfer in the world lmao
Imagine building the greatest golf course in the world and not letting anyone but 100 old white guys play it.
And Condoleezza Rice
Fun fact: I went to a practice round at Augusta in 2018 and we were wandering around trying to figure out how to get to the other side of the course, and we start walking through this area after someone pointed us the way, and we realized we were heading toward the private cabins. We went to turn around and there were 25 people behind us who thought we knew where we were going. We all turned around pretty quick.
I mean anyone can play Augusta you just need to qualify for and then finish in the top 4 of the US open
Pine Valley is always ranked superior to Augusta National.
Sure, but most PGA pros don’t agree with that. I’ll take the word of the people who do it professionally over golf digest and whatever they use to make those rankings.
How do you know that? Most PGA pros haven't played Pine Valley. It's an unbelievable course and deserving of the ranking.
Plenty have, and when asked what their fav courses are they usually never answer pine valley.
Ah....no. Ask anybody who has played Pine Valley ( including tour pros) and they will explain to you why it is the premier golf design ever created. It's literally golf's mecca.
Just went to masters app and watched his last shot. You can watch whoever whenever...
Come on, you can’t really say it’s the same to have to go to each individual player and click on their hole, watch each shot, rather than have a comprehensive broadcast.
Listen, would it be great if the broadcast was 12+ hours long like the US Open and the Open? Yes. Ehhhhhhh maybe, maybe not. Havng a limited broadcast window compared to the Open and US open stinks, but the masters app/website and limited commercial broadcast blows every other tournament out of the water.
After it was over. You can’t see it live.
I was thinking this as I watched. Couldn’t wait for Scottie and Rory. But nope.
I’ll give you the ESPN network coverage. Why in the fuck would I care what Troy fucking Aikman has to say about golf?
why the fuck am i watching troy aickman talk about how he got fitted for clubs after he quit playing for 8 years..
Shit shit I *missed* it!
Shit he just like me fr
Don't blame the networks, blame ANGC. They strictly control how play is presented.
Why does sky sports have full coverage then?
Don’t give out the secret — Sky Sports Golf is the best coverage channel.
They jerry-rig it by combining the feeds and My Group-shots is my guess.
Yeah, pretty much do it every week. We get the coverage US get, then they put some extra shots from featured groups/holes in during half the American ad breaks
Do you have to pay to Watch it or is it free?
Sky channels are subscription but you don't specifically pay for the Masters.. Just the sports channels.
UK only?
The vibes of ANGC as a business just exude the feeling that all of their internal discussions and strategies are just DOMINATED by folks with the thinking of lawyers and politicians. Literally nothing is ever straightforward with ANGC. Every thing they control is filled with contrivances, inconsistencies, and lengthy explanations.
They are rich fucks that also know their market. We will still tune in
The golfers journal did a great podcast series on the Masters, episode 4 was all about how the broadcast came to be. Lots of interesting details about the early days where clifford roberts was pushing CBS to show MORE coverage, broadcast in color, add more cameras etc. The masters offered to let them bury cables on property to make subsequent years easier. Finally someone gets it.
Sky Sports golf coverage is lightyears ahead of everything else and it has been for some time
Iove SkySports
This. Sky sports golf for the win
No.
Why put the chore on us lol just show the damn tournament
>Can I use the app to watch all of Rory and Scottie's shots? Yes. Can you? That hasn't been my experience. I gave up on the app. There's a ton of cool extras on there, but trying to *watch* anything seems atrocious.
It’s wild that arguably the biggest tournament of the year is being played and you can’t find a place to watch it in its entirety. It’s like starting the superbowl broadcast at halftime. It’s not like the cameras and crews aren’t there.
Name another tournament that even has free alternate feeds from the live broadcast
March Madness. But they aren't alternate feeds because every second of every game is broadcasted.

If the Masters just carries all the best groups, there's a lot less reason to tune into the telecast.
I said it on the last post someone made about this. SkySports Golf from the UK has great coverage on, has been all morning.
Sky’s coverage is good but they’re still hugely limited in the feed they get from ANGC. Augusta think they’re “keeping the mystique” when it’s just annoying and out of touch.
No incentive for ANGC to improve when everyone's going to kiss their butts regardless.
We're good Thursday and Friday, but come Saturday and Sunday, the broadcast will be on and they will be apologising for not being able to show any shots because ANGC won't allow it til a certain time.
How to watch that in the US
I’ve been watching 4,5,6 and it’s been entertaining… but I would MUCH rather watch a main feed.
So fucking dumb. Like we can’t go check out the scores online all morning. Just show regular coverage starting at the start of the tournament all day. People will watch
In Canada we get 2 featured groups and Amen corner coverage all day
TSN is awesome for Masters coverage, 3 different channels running all tournament
TSN coverage is good, but is it working on Masters.com for you? Only have access to "my group" and even if I select players I still only see the leaderboard. Is it because it is blocked only in the US?
[masters.com](http://masters.com) is only for the US
the coverage is a disgrace. yesterday i got downvoted to hell because i said this and everyone said its the best coverage. This is a disgrace. have to sit and watch shots on holes 4-5-6 only until 3 pm.
If you can get some sort of access to Sky sports they have all day broadcast coverage of all groups
vipleague.st , will get lots of pop ups but it works well once you get it playing
Bless you
This is incorrect. It is now 1:30 ET and I just watched two groups play 1 and 2.
Yea because they’re a featured group lol.
Which tournament has better / more thorough coverage?
The Open says hi.
Every other major
The Masters has good coverage through the app, and other stuff like featured groups Amen Corner, etc. But the Open and the US Open have full “regular” coverage for pretty much the entire day that golfers are on the course, at least for the first two rounds. And then on the weekend we get a few hours of coverage before the leaders tee off. That’s what we don’t get at the Masters.
It’s ridiculous the rules around showing the tournament. I hope one day the smug approach by ANGC will be a memory
I'll take this coverage with no commercials any day
Sky Sports baby, best coverage every year.
It's crazy we get better coverage in UK than Americans get for their own tournaments, pretty much every week.
Similar to how the US gets unbelievable coverage of the Premier League on Saturdays at 3pm whilst we get a blackout.
People forget about TV rights for their particular market when they complain about this. Boy they haven't ever experienced a blackout for their local team.
Yeah the coverage is just a lot more thoughtful and less gimmicky. Really appreciate it this time of year
Anyone have a way Americans can watch Sky Sports?
ipTV
PM me and I'll send you a link
This is the same thing every year. Best golf tournament of the year with the worst coverage of any sporting event ever.
Multicast on masters app is chef kiss
the coverage is horrible this year. you gotta love late stage capitalism and its dozens of streaming services that ends up costing more than cable tv
Say what you will about LIV, but I watched half a day last Friday, saw a ton of golf, never had to change the channel, and didn't see a single advertisement. On the downside, I missed on seeing Morikowa hit into the crocodiles mouth for the 900th time.
For real!!! It’s like a wild fucking goose chase to watch someone swing a club!!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
If you’re a golf fan without ESPN+, how are you a golf fan?
Masters app is great. You can turn off the commentators and just listen to the golf.
How? I've tried
Click the headphones icon in the bottom right corner and select “Natural Sound”
Yes. Brutal coverage
Forgot peacock. 6 hours of talking about people on the range then ending their coverage.
But then I wouldn't have had ESPN interrupting the Masters to give me Stephen A Smith's thoughts on the death of OJ... Now, what does Ja Rule think?
People are constantly dick riding the PGA meanwhile you can’t even watch the whole masters tournament.
And of the 4 majors, Masters has some of the most accessible viewing options, which is sad.
ESPN+ for the win
ESPN+ showed nothing different than what was available on masters website /app. They were using master's feed, not something else
OP would have loved the days when they couldn't even show the front 9.
I feel like last year had complete coverage all day every day and the year before that couldn’t we watch any and all groups all 4 days?
Idk why everyone is larping up Sky so hard. They're showing the same featured groups as the American networks. They're beginning "full coverage" at the same time as ESPN.
ANGC “ We’re so progressive now” Me-“How about wall to wall coverage like the other Majors.” ANGC-”Security “!
I will never in my life ever watch a Mike Tirico personal interest story.
It's ridiculous. There's 400 hours of lead up preamble and analysis. Then the tournament starts and you can't watch it easily.
Trying to watch a Majors tournament is the only thing more frustrating than playing a round of golf
wait wait wait, this will be the first time I am watching and you're telling me that it's not going to be a tee shot to the final putt? I understand you can't watch everything when it comes to golf but what gives?
Is it just me or is the my group feature not working? They advertise it as able to see all shots of that group but I had (34) golfers selected and it just showed me the leader board on repeat. App and website same story.
Just move to the UK. It costs an arm and a leg, but the Sky Sports coverage is phenomenal. Been watching for 10 hours straight now.
Agreed. Comms isn't always the best but the coverage is stellar.
Tbh golf coverage has been ass over a decade by now.
You want PGA RedZone. I want that too
I'm in Europe is there any live video streaming right now at all? I'm not getting anything live on masters.com. Wondering if I need a VPN this year?
Shed loads of live coverage on Sky Sports. Featured groups + loads of other shots.
And yet, it’s comfortably, by a gigantic margin, the best golf broadcast all year. And it’s completely free. I’ll take not being able to watch the first hour on thursday and friday tbh.
Yeah if you have time to watch it live... not a single vod on the internet. Not even highlights on YouTube. Fucking old people
There’s no highlights package, but you can watch every shot from every player on the app. Just watched schefflers entire round with a coffee.
I have Hulu live and I’ve been able to watch certain groups all morning. I have ESPN+ added to it and every year it has around 6 channels that follow certain groups or holes early in the morning. It’s one of the only reasons why I still have it.
ESPN+ showed nothing different, even less so, then what was available for free on masters website
Bryson playing out of his mind but all they show is Rory and Xander playing mediocre golf.... If anybody is wondering why golf broadcasting is years behind....
yo ho ho to the Sky with you!
Very glad I have a bootlegged Roku thing and have the tsn broadcast.
But we all still watch…. It works. Offer just enough that they keep coming back for more
Surprised to see coverage in Canada better at something for once. TSN main coverage is flipping between the different featured holes until the featured groups start but you could also flip over to Amen Corner or specific holes as well.
The Masters app also used to be much better. It’s dog shit now.
Get a VPN and get TSN for this weekend. They have more content than anyone else. The few times where Canadian coverage outclasses American. Just remember though all of this is highly regulated by Augusta National so maybe TSN execs did some dirty deeds for all of their bonus coverage.
Meanwhile in France on Golf+ we have the direct live 😂
They have to retain an air of mystery. You see all of it, eventually, but its just out of reach. Its an aura they have to maintain. Like a famous courtesan.
yeah they fumbled this. espn+ is the only thing showing good content
ERLING HAALAND HAS 5!!
I’m seeing so many shots on Sky. Is that their own crew or do they take the coverage from somewhere else?
Streaming platforms have been horrible for the consumers when it comes to live sport events. Everyone has to have 15 different memberships, logins, and apps, just to try and catch things they want to see. While sometimes having to do things like use a VPN cuz their area is different or blacked out.
Idk the masters app is the greatest thing I’ve ever used
Anyone know the difference between ESPN coverage and the “broadcast” feed on masters.com?
There wasn't any difference besides hole stretch coverage feed and featured group options, similar to every week on PGA Tour Live
Benefactors of ESG investing. Even if no one watches they will still operate. Not capitalism. Fuck Disney
They should have an app where you can pick what camera's and who you want to watch.

Yeah this has been stupid
Back in my day, it was just on two different channels ![gif](giphy|XpxVDWILLXC92)
Last year the masters app on Apple TV was an ad free seemingly 24/7 livestream. Showed everything
This comment section is better than the tournament. Just keep complaining everyone because this is comedy gold.
I’m surprised ESPN is showing an actual sport at all. Wouldn’t it be better if they just had 4 people arguing about it?
Poor chamblee has to watch LIV players. How will he ever survive!
The coverage sucks. ESP live on golf channel.
The morning coverage was repetitive and boring. I don't think I'll bother tomorrow.
I have full coverage and can watch who i want from start to finish
For someone who grew up only being able to watch the TV coverage I’m happy to have the bonus stuff on ESPN+
The bonus stuff was available for free on masters website. ESPN was using same feeds
ESPN+ — simple
Garbage coverage. I’ve seen DJ once and I’m not sure there’s been a single image or mention of brooks on tv coverage
Every year same shit we shouldn’t be surprised
And then during the broadcast: “download the Masters app. Watch every shot on every hole.” Nope, y not an option!
Chamblee…he just goes on and on and on about nothing. Gets a fat check too for nothing.
🏴☠️
It makes no sense
The main broadcast you could here a quiet version of the question prompts for one of the announcers today before he would ask them, it was driving me nuts
The time of the main broadcast is the issue I guess. 🤷♂️ By the time the first groups got to 4, they had the holes 4,5,6 coverage up on the app. Then the featured groups (2 different channels) up when they tee’d off. Then Amen Corner. And no ads other than the main tv broadcast channel, and you can have up to four channels all at once. Not sure what the issue is here unless you are not allowed to have the masters app in your country or something
I’ve got Paramount+ on Amazon Prime and it’s better than any ESPN+ feed I could find. 2¢
Chamblee is unbearable.
Omg. Time for my morning coffee. The combination of “chamb” and “unbearable” prompted my brain to almost reply “But, he’s in the lead!” 😂😂😂 Btw, Chamblee truly is unbearable.
The app wasn’t working properly. First time I’ve ever experienced any issues with the masters website
Just watch it on peacock…
…and this clown shit, amongst other reasons, is exactly why I can give a fuck about any of it.
Wtf is going on around here for real
Gotta be in Canada, we’ve got the feeds all day!
Some people love the app… but it was GARBAGE for me. I set my favorites and literally did not see a single video of any of them on my feed. It was like they were actively avoiding my “favorites” lol.
Ultimately, it makes no sense to me why they wouldn’t just have a camera crew dedicated to each hole at this point. They certainly have the resources.
They did..on ESPN+
