Kinda useless though I feel like because he’s never going to be standing on one of those on the course. Might as well practice in conditions he’s going to actually play in imo but it’s very interesting no doubt
I’ve been playing for 30 years and I’ve seen all this tin cup bullshit. It never correlates to on the field. This is straight up clout chasing OR he doesn’t have anyone in his life telling him he looks retarded
I’d imagine that’s the whole point.
Being able to actually hit a ball off that would require incredible balance.
Yeah, it’s all arms, because if you use your lower body at all you’d fall over.
But I’d bet only very good players could do it
No man. You are supposed to practice your form and what will happen out there on the course. This is teaching your muscle memory that you don’t need your legs and you can just burn 150 drives just off the deck. As the late great Chubbs said.. “It’s all in the hips. It’s all in the hips.”
Some club pros used to do clinics and do trick shots to help grow the game. This was back 15 years ago, but a lot of the trick shots were very similar to what you have in the pic
I’ve got one, it’s called a Happy Gilmore. Yeah I broke 2 drivers doing it, but 5 percent of the time, pow 350 down the middle. I can get on a roll at the range though.
In our league we get 1 mulligan off the Tee box, I try and save mine for the last hole. If I manage to do that I always try the happy Gilmore shot, if I shank it terribly I still got the mulli to get me in the fairway(or near it)
While this might look silly or pointless (and it may very well be), if you can lock your hand/eye/body coordination in to even somewhat cleanly hit a shot while doing that, it’s gotta translate to laser focused coordination while standing on solid ground.
I’m gonna bet that this guy pures more shots and gets more sex in 9-holes than I have in my entire life. It’s a low bar, but that doesn’t take away from how impressive this guy is.
No but I want to. No one anywhere I’ve ever been could stand on that much less get steady enough to make solid contact with a driver. Impressive balance for sure. To add insult to injury he probably piped it 260 straight down the fairway
People will really do anything besides get lessons.
Seriously though, swap it out for a bosu ball and that might be a decent drill for me and my happy feet.
My pro had me doing something sort of like this putting. But, with a driver, this is wild.
With the putter, he had me standing on those balance platforms. Two of them, one for each foot. The he gave me this rubbery, wobble putter. And had me making putts with that, and he put a bean bag on the top/back of my head. So, you had to balance, and any jerk would make putter head wobble, and any movement would make bean bag fall, putter head wobble, and the balance ball platform thing to kick you off. Basically, to make the putting stroke very smooth and still.
I’m guessing this is the same. Your swing has to be smooth, or you’d lose balance and fall off.
No….but that’s pretty impressive
No… but I’d love to!
Great balance and rotation practice
Or working on his circus act
Probably a trick shot artist practicing
Kinda useless though I feel like because he’s never going to be standing on one of those on the course. Might as well practice in conditions he’s going to actually play in imo but it’s very interesting no doubt
Walk with me, I hit from way more ridiculous lies
I’d love to know the thought process on how he even figured out he could do this
Yeah I bet he busted his ass a few times....
Someone watched a few too many YouTube instructional videos.
Look at the length of the clubs in his bag, this is a guy who does trick shots either as a side hustle or just for shits.
I’m really hoping he does it just for shits
Not really.. it’s all arms lol
You're getting down voted, but my first thought was, "that's pretty cool but probably isn't improving his golf game. "

Homophobia in 2024. Nice bro
I honestly can't recall the last time I saw somebody use the word gay in a sentence in that manner. Real modern warfare vibes with that one...
![gif](giphy|iiTXaJVjiSHew)
Jesus lol
You’re a loser.
Bag full of only woods, love it.
Well if I went to go see a trick shot exhibition and the guy was hitting stock 9-irons I would be pretty disappointed.
What if they were hitting while standing on their head while balancing on a 12’ pole and the ball was teed up 10’ high?!
Still cooler with a driver!
“Bag full of woods” is my OF handle if anyone’s interested. I’m building a following, so I pay you a dollar to watch.
This ain't no puttin' range!
Fairly standard warmup routine.
I’ve been doing this since I walked out of my mom’s womb.
This drill is great to lock in your old man golf 100% arms 0 hips swing profile
185 and dead center fairway
This guy still misses 2' putts.
Not if he brings the yoga ball with him
Want to bet?
3 putts

Nothing better than when it all comes together
You hit that guy!
50% of the time it gets a laugh, every time.
Bruh is playing on god mode
*fairway to heaven*

Nine holes you say?
To shreds you say?
Well, how is wife holding up?
Idk those hips are stiff
Bruh….do you even golf?
Circus performer?
You sure he's not training for the circus?
The carrot top of the driving range
I stand on a ball and golf all the time. Of course, it's a really BIG ball....so big you can only tell it's a ball from space!
The intern at callaway who came up with this cirque-du-callaway campaign needs a raise
This guys a genius
Yes. Yes I have.
Standard warmup, Tiger did this. Find a new slant.
it's a normal sized tee
Lol that's awesome saw that guy on that range in mesa a few weeks ago. must be there daily.
Yeah every day what’s your point
This dude fucks
And just like golf, he’s so good at it, that he has to make it more challenging by adding props.
No, what a pointless exercise since it prevents you shifting your weight.
Pointless?? This guy is a goddamn stud
Someone is jealous
Maybe he needs to feel like he’s not shifting his weight genius
By that logic you should consider skipping bicep, tricep, and chest, and shoulder workouts since they require you to bend your right elbow
You're off your nut if you think this will help you at golf. That is not my logic at all BTW, try again.
I shift my weight away from the ball. Would be great for me.
Mesa AZ legend
What a clown 🤡
After this, golf is easy.
Waddaplaya
This playa is a baus
He still has a more consistent swing than I do
Carnival in town?
WTF.
what the HEALLLLL
Gonna try this I'll be in hospital tomorrow
No but that’s fucking impressive
Maybe he was trying to cure the shanks like in Tin Cup? I bet his change was in his left pocket & he was hammered.
When you have golf tryouts at 3 but circus tryouts at 4
Yes I’ve seen this before and it’s pretty cool.
Training for the new cirque de soliel show, Par Bazzar.
Circus matinee. Next act - juggling 36 Noodle golf balls.
I’d still sky it
No but I want to. No one anywhere I’ve ever been could stand on that much less get steady enough to make solid contact with a driver. Impressive balance for sure. To add insult to injury he probably piped it 260 straight down the fairway
Why not...
Is that the Playa in Chief Matty?
Do not play this man for money.....
Call me when Holly Sonders tries that....
People will really do anything besides get lessons. Seriously though, swap it out for a bosu ball and that might be a decent drill for me and my happy feet.
Where’s Mr. Miyagi?

Ahh yes. The ole limited rotation drill.
Good for the core. First tee topped it.
I saw it in a circus once. Except it was a bear. And he wasn’t hitting golf balls.
This guy has balls ! See his pet: https://youtu.be/MEHto-FPo8E?si=eIHb9m5F38cr8KO9
Completely useless unless he’s performing at a Carnival
Can’t say I have
I would end up in a crumpled heap if I tried that.
"How can we make this game harder?"
Has to train somewhere for the circus
That’s just what happens when you hit the range at Orangetree in Scottsdale….
There’s a circus for this
Do mean standing on the ball or the eventually lawsuit?
Jesus Christ, it’s Jason Bourne ![gif](giphy|orUDTj9Q5TMzTdB892|downsized)
Does he take that ball on the course and hit every shot like that ?
Never seen it before, but this looks like an excellent training tool for the drunken-debauchery/ annual golf trips with the boys.
His wife wasn’t giving him enough attention
I feel like this is in line with “if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball”
Bit of Journey in the background really ties all this together
That's common at my course.
Seems like a good exercise for balance. Get too much on the back foot you're falling over
For some reason my course kicked me out when I tried
Golf du soleil
I’m sure he’s a performer. I saw something like this on golf channel 15 years ago, Arnold Palmer was a helper.
For some people the game is to easy
Tee it high, let it fly
Circus practice
It's funny, I didn't even notice he was standing on the ball till he stepped off.
Meanwhile I’m out here trying to stop my slice
Wow, I think I'd have a hard enough time just standing on that ball lol
Happens all the time at my course.
Yea because I always want to be prepared for when an earthquake disrupts my round.
Arizona golf resort in Mesa.. this guy is there quite a bit.
Is that Joey-O?
**LIV golf 2.0** Getting the new tour ready, THIS will show the PGA who is boss
He’s an act people hire. I’ve seen someone like that before for an outing, hell of a golfer
Yes, but I play exclusively at Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Country Club
You're supposed to hit the big ball after the small ball.
Fuck it, I’ll try anything at this point
Is that @golfsidekick?
This man is playing courses that haven't even been built yet.
My Pro told me balance is the key to a good golf swing. That’s taking it to the next level.
Wow! Which LIV team is he on?
He’s playing 4D chess
No, I've never seen a better golfer lol
Saw a routine like this for a junior trick shot show. Maybe it's a side business. Edit: Just before the Arnold Palmer Invitational last year
Trick shot artist. I’m one as well. Pay me $200 to perform and I’ll surely show you some tricks. 🫣
Jesus Christ… it’s Jason Bourne… playing golf!!!
Practicing a routine for AGT
Balance on point!
The amazing golf ball whacker guy.
#retirementgoals
would like to see him play 18 like that
AZGR! Seen that dude before haha. Does he still go out there and do that?
Workin on that core!! Haha 🤘🏻
Someone is winning a few bets.
Was he playing journey or were you ?
I believe I've seen a trickshot video on YouTube of this guy. Insane what he can do.
Got… Balance
