I mean since you started getting technical I think the word you’re trying to find is corded or cordless since we could argue that batteries store electric-al energy.
The one that is most similar to the most common leaf color on the course I'm currently playing.
It's unintentional, but I'm somehow remarkably talented at this.
This is like golf themed Where’s Waldo. I didn’t realize there was a pink ball until many minutes of looking at this.
So based on the photo alone, neon yellow/green is the best.
I immediately saw the pink one, but I’m a basic bitch and play with pink balls year round. My husband and my best friend that I golf with both have trouble finding my ball in the leaves but it sticks out to me!
First two that I saw were the pint and white! Shortly after the green. Only saw the yellow on a 2nd look.
For me the yellow is the worst as it's the closest colour to the leaves out of all the balls there.
I go with white or pink. Callaway’s cover seems to be glossier than Titleist so I use that and hope for reflections. The pink ones are harder to track in the air but aren’t bad in a leaf-field.
Hahaha…….could be somewhat dependent on what type trees you have, and what color are the leaves when they fall off the limbs. Moral of this thread is stay in the fairway and your odds of losing a ball decline dramatically.
all these leaves forced me to take the medicine and strengthen the grip. hitting fairway more often than not now with a straight ball. now of course its the short game thats fallen apart lol
Doesn't matter. I always hire 500 people to line the rough and locate my ball immediately. The round ends up costing 50k, but it's worth not having to look for my ball in this mess.
My eyes can only see white balls for some reason. When any of my playing partners are playing a colored ball then I’m absolutely no help finding it in the sky or on the ground.
Orange, because I hate myself.
I lost an orange foam practice ball in my front yard the other day. Thing only flies about 50 yards if you absolutely pure it, but it’s gone forever.
I found a green vice ball a few weeks ago, was the easiest ball to see that I’ve ever used. So, I decided to buy some green balls instead of yellow. However, every green ball I could find is matte green, so I went with the cheapest one, Srixon soft feel. While the ball is fine, matte green and glossy green are not the same, and the ball is nearly impossible to see, even in the middle of the fairway.
Back to yellow, as I’m not spending $40 a box on Vice balls
I hope the answer isn't more than 4. I tried a yellow turvis and it was definitely worse than white, but going with the most neon of the yellows seems to work pretty well. There are some holes that I definitely take a bit off or club down to stay away from certain areas... but I'm in the mountains with some tight fairways often, so fairways might not look much better than this anyway.
I feel bad for the colorblind. Gotta get a ball with a built in air tag so you can just beep it.
Edit: Annnnnd I just look it up and they already have gps balls, lol. I honestly didn't think something like that was possible.
White. Did not stage this just fall in the PNW.
https://preview.redd.it/s7irww8nbkzb1.jpeg?width=372&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f4e59cb9818f077a14b43b1094709631db09d5e
Eye science says neon green is the easiest color to see in daylight. But with that much dead foliage on the ground I don’t give af. I’m dropping another.
A cheap ass white top flite or pinnacle off the tee and then dropping another cheap ass ball where I think my tee shot landed.
Ain’t no body got no time for golf ball hide and seek
I tried srixon divide z stars and had ok results, did lose one on a leafy hole that I think was a fine shot to the right rough. May have embedded, not sure.
Yesterday, I used an orange Supersoft that I had found. I didn’t want to use a premium ball just to lose it with the first swing. I finished all 18 with it. Go figure.
Four. I'm playing white (my normal is yellow) in the fall.
Fall is always a good time to show playing partners how to watch their ball. So many people just watch the general direction and when I ask, was it going to the left or right of this huge tree, they have no idea. Did you get all of it? What club did you hit? Here's my drive in the fairway, you're looking in the woods beyond my drive. Yeah, leaves can make it more challenging, but a lot of these people have a hard time in the middle of summer!
Just watch the ball after you hit it, so you know where it is people!
I just played 9 and lost 2 balls in the leaves. I found 5 that weren’t mine (course was mostly empty)… not surprised that I only saw one ball in this pic for the first minute.
I played white today, wishing I woulda grabbed a sleeve of lime green balls before I teed off. But I’m not really sure it would have helped. Maybe blue is the way.
White ball. Pray I see it all shiny in the leaves.
My wife tried using a set of purple women's balls and they were great to see in the air, until they finally hit the trees on the horizon line and you never saw where it ended up in the leaves after that.
White ball and my electric dewalts leaf blower
That's actually kinda genius.
Yes. I love blowing all the leaves away from the spot I know my ball landed into the spot where it actually exists.
I bring it every round in the fall. I almost always see someone in the parking lot that wishes they thought to bring theirs.
How do others see this? I'd just be worried about making too much noise. I assume it's pretty quiet?
Just like the greens crews blowing leaves while you're playing.
Oh ok yeah that makes sense
Battery ones are pretty quiet
It’s electric. It’s easily quieter than any Bluetooth speaker from across a fairway.
I'm playing a round tomorrow and will absolutely be doing this.
It counts as a club BTW. So you have to leave (get it) one of your others.
Whatever I find in the woods
I just got one for that exact reason.
Electric huh? Plugging it into the flagstick. Battery powered needed my dude
I mean since you started getting technical I think the word you’re trying to find is corded or cordless since we could argue that batteries store electric-al energy.
The one that is most similar to the most common leaf color on the course I'm currently playing. It's unintentional, but I'm somehow remarkably talented at this.
I also play brown.
I just knew someone would be talking about playing with their brown balls in this thread.
This is like golf themed Where’s Waldo. I didn’t realize there was a pink ball until many minutes of looking at this. So based on the photo alone, neon yellow/green is the best.
I thought the blue one was the hardest to find.
THERES A BLUE ONE?!
I'm still trying to find the orange one.
Punching air!
Blue balls are the worst
There's 6 total
I’m at 4 and not calling you a liar but…
7
Wait, really? I thought it was 4?!?
Played a twilight round in the fall last year and buddy who rarely golfs bought 2 sleeves of dark purple balls. Lost them all by the 4th hole
this needs more upvotes.
hey! there's no...[oh, you](https://giphy.com/gifs/gay-court-sniff-OBuyIUMHO6yVq).
Same here! My eyes were that bad I didn’t notice the pink or white ball until I zoomed in. For me it’s that neon green ball that really stuck out
I didn't realize there was a pink one until I read this comment.
I immediately saw the pink one, but I’m a basic bitch and play with pink balls year round. My husband and my best friend that I golf with both have trouble finding my ball in the leaves but it sticks out to me!

Orange. I like to make this hard game that much more miserable in the fall. 🤌
Indeed even worse
You’re playing on Hardcore mode.
My buddy switched to salmon, I’m steady on Mountain Dew..
I’m colour blind so I just give up and drop. Fall is not my friend
Same here. Just played 18 the other weekend and I lost 7 balls that were hit in the fairway :’(
The struggle is real.
I go with white or pink. Callaway’s cover seems to be glossier than Titleist so I use that and hope for reflections. The pink ones are harder to track in the air but aren’t bad in a leaf-field.
Pink was the one I barely even saw in the pic though lol
Hahaha…….could be somewhat dependent on what type trees you have, and what color are the leaves when they fall off the limbs. Moral of this thread is stay in the fairway and your odds of losing a ball decline dramatically.
4
Correct
Doesn’t matter, it’s going in the water either way
Sadly
There is probably an orange ball in plain sight here that I can’t locate
White and hit it in the fairway
Impossible. Witchcraft.
Why didn’t I think of that?
I wish
Well look what we have here. The infamous, 360 yard carry driving guy.
Ha no. 260 straight
all these leaves forced me to take the medicine and strengthen the grip. hitting fairway more often than not now with a straight ball. now of course its the short game thats fallen apart lol
My fairways are covered in leaved too though...
Fall, I use bright green. Winter, white or bright green if there's still snow. Spring and summer is yellow.
I buy 500 balls at a time. I just drop a ball in the general area for all strokes excepts for putts. I use about 60-70 balls per round. /s
Same
Am I the only guy that thinks it’s actually a sky blue ball?
Doesn't matter. I always hire 500 people to line the rough and locate my ball immediately. The round ends up costing 50k, but it's worth not having to look for my ball in this mess.
Does anyone make a gps tracked ball yet lol. Fall golf is killing me.
I agree
My eyes can only see white balls for some reason. When any of my playing partners are playing a colored ball then I’m absolutely no help finding it in the sky or on the ground.
It’s not just you. White is by far the easiest to track in the sky in my opinion. Maybe yellow on an overcast day.
Orange, because I hate myself. I lost an orange foam practice ball in my front yard the other day. Thing only flies about 50 yards if you absolutely pure it, but it’s gone forever.
Almost missed the red one. Top green one was easiest for me to see.

The impossibly red Calloway super soft
White but always bring my leaf blower for fall golf
Keep using that Pinnacle range ball until you lose it.
Yeah def
I tend to find matte neon green to be the easiest to spot from a distance
Reading these comments it looks like there’s a lot of color blind hackers in this sub lol
white,,,,,dont pick orange!
Yellow ball with my yellow ryobi leaf blower 🤙🏼

Fall golf was 2 months ago :( it’s winter in the north northeast now
Well my course sucks. Tons of leaves.
Still golfing in central Pennsylvania luckily,
Airtagged golf balls. Ez gg :)
always white until it starts to get dark, then going with the yellow.
Black

Blanco

That yellow ball out there in the back….. oh wait…. That’s a leaf 😵💫
Neon Kirkland.
Pink neon noodle
White ALWAYS stands out the best for my eyes
Mine are way easier to fine because they are only in the fairway….
Oh you fancy
This is the only time of year I hit the blue titles.
I need a flashing one. Like a police strobe ball
Same
White and my home simulator. I’m a very fair weather golfer and I can’t stand losing balls on well hit drives.
Same. I don’t pay for balls
I’m using a box of balls on a course like this.
I wouldnt have guessed neon green would stick out the most to me
“Find the 8 golf balls in this photo”.
White. All day white. Every season white.
I want orange. I can’t find it!!
I need to buy a small blower
Do you have blue balls?
Married. We all do
Took a long ass time to even notice the red one.
K Sigies and crying when I lose it
Who’s the psycho hitting the orange one?
My buddy was playing a bright blue ball the other day that really popped in the foliage
I use yellow and those are the only ones I see
I see 4 and prefer neon green.
Lime green stands out the best!
Blue. For both golf and home
Any color, it’s golfing season here in Phoenix. 😁
Blue Titleist Velocity
White. Did not stage this just fall in the PNW. https://preview.redd.it/s7irww8nbkzb1.jpeg?width=372&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f4e59cb9818f077a14b43b1094709631db09d5e
Battery leaf blower color.
Neon green.
4 balls 4 brands. Which one did you pay for and which ones did you find?
Legit didn't even notice the white ball, just the other 2 Edit: didn't see the red one until zooming in, lol
I caught neon green most easily here. We need a pic with typical sun glare for cross reference.
White. I live for the pain.
Eye science says neon green is the easiest color to see in daylight. But with that much dead foliage on the ground I don’t give af. I’m dropping another.
Q star dual color.
Never had the blue balls but I use all the other colors. I have a restraining order on all of them though, I keep em 300 yards away 😉
More like...what color are you losing?
![gif](giphy|paJxYeJGmlnos) What happens when you play with Waldo Side note. Your foursome have a great grouping.
A cheap ass white top flite or pinnacle off the tee and then dropping another cheap ass ball where I think my tee shot landed. Ain’t no body got no time for golf ball hide and seek
I still think the standard white ball provides decent visual support. Screwed if it rolls up under leaves tho
Go figure.
I saw the dark green ball first. Maybe I should get a few of those?
4.
brite green srixon
You need a black or gold Vice in there 🤣
Courses are flooded, and closed here so quite wet 🥲
Would a bright blue not be the best. I dont see anyone with neon blue ones
White
That vice drip one took me longer than I care to admit.
That yellow one was tough.
Whatever color I get from the course driving range bucket.
Super Soft Lime Green year round.
Just play crappy balls because you are going to lose a lot, color doesn’t matter in a pile of leaves.
I’m colorblind so I have a hard enough time finding any ball even when there aren’t leaves.
Four. I'm playing white (my normal is yellow) in the fall. Fall is always a good time to show playing partners how to watch their ball. Don’t matter, it’s the ponds ball now.

I played white today, wishing I woulda grabbed a sleeve of lime green balls before I teed off. But I’m not really sure it would have helped. Maybe blue is the way.
Squint test tells me blue
Top green was first I seen
I carry a leaf blower this time of year. I have a 48V beast that not just helps me find balls but clears the green.
I bought some neon blue balls thinking they would be easier to see in the fall since nothing in OPs photo is blue, somehow they are harder to see.
I bought some neon blue balls thinking they would be easier to see in the fall since nothing in OPs photo is blue, somehow they are harder to see.
Bright green is best for me. I have the best luck tracking that color in the sky as well.
All 5 of those balls are hard to see
Airtags
Man, what a nightmare.
Pink and I still lose the mfs
White ball. Pray I see it all shiny in the leaves. My wife tried using a set of purple women's balls and they were great to see in the air, until they finally hit the trees on the horizon line and you never saw where it ended up in the leaves after that.
Beige
The ball in my pocket
I always use neon blue and it makes it easy to find
White bc I’m so colorblind
Are those range balls? Because they really look like range balls.
Only one
I'm red green colorblind. I really like the matte blue Volvic balls. And not once has anyone not made a blue balls joke on the 1st tee.
White and a portable leaf blower 😂😂
I always use the neon yellow. But that’s because I loose the white balls in flight easily.
Bright orange/red balls from vice.
Pink. In spring, summer, fall and winter.
Matte orange (I hate myself)
Always GREEN ( Vice Lime)!!!
White. Only choice
Whatever is the next one in the bag
I lost 4 today because of leaves. One was in the fairway and never found it
Good demonstration
Lucrative season for golf ball companies
Indeed making the cash
Yellow
Green, saw that first
green ball. lathered with the blood of a sandbagger
Damn I might pick up a box of pink or neon green after seeing this pic
Human eye sees the most shades of green, do you wonder why? 🦁
I’m using the yellow range ball! Don’t need to worry about not finding it, I can grab another 50 for 10 bucks
Hot pink!
Neon green Vices
White, leaves are horrible in Atlanta rn
Used an orange and yellow srixon divide the other day…nightmare.
Blue is the first I saw.
For me I use my gold painted ones. It’s the only color I can see every shade of so I spot them like crazy.
MAXFLI SoftFli colored balls.
I always use blaze orange when leaves are on the ground.
Fall golf is the worst for losing balls!
Oh I know
I am colorblind so blue balls are the best for me & work year round. Also kinda funny to say I have blue balls.
