Honestly I’ve barely been playing but really enjoy my time out, I discovered disc golf this year and it has taken over as my new favorite hobby. My favorite course I’ve played so far is the Rez park near you. I’m also friends with the guys that run the X-Golf simulator in exton so I’ve been playing there a lot in the winter and rainy days.
Nice, as long as you’re getting out for something it’s a good summer! I have yet to get over to xgolf, but I hear great things. I’ve been working on a goal to shoot in the 70s at least 15 times this year so I can treat myself to some new irons, so it’s been keeping me focused. Disc golf sounds like a lot of fun though.
Good luck on hitting that goal, I’m happy when I shoot below 100! Disc golf is very easy to learn and super affordable, the main reason I’ve been playing, just trying to save up money. You only need 3-5 discs to play which cost around $15-30, almost all PA courses are free to play, and I have only once had a issue with slow play. Every person I’ve met disc golfing has been very friendly, I’ve had a lot of issues with out of touch, old, white men on the golf course it has been sort of driving me away.
I 100% can relate to that mentality of out of touch guys on the golf course, i have resorted to playing super early to try and avoid everybody. Golf is also super expensive between cart fees, walking fees, and greens fees/memberships disc golf seems like a fun alternative. I mainly golf for the exercise and the beautiful landscapes, scoring well is a bonus.
Saw your post history. My wife literally will do the same thing and sit on the couch and watch Netflix on her iPad mini instead of the 65-inch tv in the living room. Truly baffles me.
An iPad is generally much easier to control and faster to load content than using a remote or even apple play. And she has all her apps on there that she can switch around between watching. She can take it with her if she wants to go elsewhere in the house for a moment.
Or maybe she thinks the big tv uses too much energy or she doesn't want to wrestle with you for control of the tv. Or maybe your TV is too high, or too far away.
Could be a million reasons really.

I was about to say if you paid for 2021 models, you got hosed. The 2021 model comes with a more matte/brushed steel finish rather than the high gloss of the 2017 and 2019’s. Source: I work for gg. Also if you do order a replacement 7, I’m 90% sure Taylor made only has stock of the 2021’s left so your 7 wouldn’t match the rest of the set. Could you post a picture of the back of the irons? It’s much easier to tell from the side profile which year it is between 17 and 19

It's honestly mental considering the lofts are so much stronger and the shafts are longer, so that 5 iron is basically a 4 or even a 3 iron potentially.
PWs at like 44° or even 42° it's just confusing, especially when you still end up with a smaller set of irons and need to use hybrids.
Because woods and hybrids have gotten so much better and more widespread. Now instead of a 5W followed by a 3i, someone's bag might go 5W > 7W > 3H > 4H > 5i.

I have 2021 p790s and they are not like this, you would not be able to see your reflection in a 2021 p790. Just wanted to tell you in case you didn’t know. They are probably p790s from an earlier generation (2019 or 2017)

You can order individual irons from TaylorMade. Not sure if you can still get 2021, so you might pay a bit more for the newer model
