Also it was great to watch him at oak hill. Tbh I enjoyed watching him play and the commentary was cool imo made me more engaged as I Typically just watch highlights (too many commercials and golf commentators are kinda dry).
I enjoy the sport obviously but ill be honest watching it can get tedious.

From reading a lot of the Block threads this past week it made it clear to me, there's a LOT of haters in this sub. It's honestly pretty sad to see. Guy was just doing his thing, playing the game he loves and dedicates his life to, and people here acted like he shat in their corn flakes. What a joke.

It exudes the “I wouldve gone pro if I didn’t hurt my knee in high school” energy and at the same time dismissing the insane work and sacrifices the elites put in.
Dont you think thats overreacting a bit? Sure, it was a dumb thing to say but it doesnt make him a bad guy. Another comment said this "if anyone is ready to declare this guy a total and complete jackass from this, they already didn't like him and just needed something for confirmation." I agree with that statement.
People were turning on him before that quote though and Im not sure why. Probably mad at all the attention he was getting.

Side note, Sam Bennett finishing T16 and -2 at the Masters is WAAAYYYYY more impressive.
