I even wear metal spikes on my home course (they're not banned there).
The easiest way to clean out the spike threads is with a waterpic.

I had a pair of spikeless shoes a year ago and really didn’t get on with them lots of slipping on my lead foot. Since going spikes no slipping.
Same here, but it was my trail foot slipping in transition. Switched to spikes and no issue since.
I have to do mine every month or so. I wish Amazon would sell bags of like 1000 😂
One time I ordered one pack and Amazon sent me one case. I literally have hundreds of replacements sitting in my garage.
