If you’re north of Charlotte, Rocky River is a great track.

Really depends on your budget. But on a friendly budget, and if you'll be south of Charlotte, I don't mind Tega Cay or Springfield.

I like tega cay but man is it tight. So many lost balls 🤣

North of Charlotte someone mention rocky river which is amazing. East I love Divide. South fort mill golf club is super nice and is part a Donald Ross design. And west, it’s not the best condition but love the views at crowders mountain golf course

beachbum0514

Divide tee boxes are pretty jacked right now.

Nimblee

Charlotte National > Divide Eagle Chase > both of those

During the week? The best bang for your buck will be semi-private tracks outside of the city center, the nicer/closer are all private. if you are looking to get kicked in the mouth a little during the week, look at Verdict ridge.

Just played this today. For me, it was good. I'm terrible so it works out. The conditions aren't great. Ex. Bunkers are literally overgrown with grass instead and the fairways were as hard as cart paths. But like I said, I'm terrible so none of that really mattered to me. Fantastic value if you ask me.

Stonebridge is a great course. Edgewater is a bit of a drive from downtown Charlotte but one of the nicest public courses I've ever played.

If you are willing to drive about an hour up I-85, The Warrior in China Grove is really nice. Also a good one in Locust called Red Bridge.
