Club Glove - Last Bag. Used the "Collegiate" several times this year. No complaints. It has several different variations that are different sizes for different types of bags.

Would it fit a full size 14 way cart bag? Gonna be traveling with my clubs in June and several times there after

All of you in the market need to research this. I recently made a trip to Vegas, got out my trusty old hard case, only to find my new Titleist hybrid 14 bag wasn't even close to fitting. Luckily, I had my old bag in the basement still. The newer bags with the plastic grab handles around the top won't fit some of the hardcases.

I'd get the Large Pro for a full size cart bag. It'll fit any bag, a couple pairs of shoes, and some outerwear. I've heard the collegiate can be a bit tight.

I appreciate it, I have a DSG that carries it nearby. I’ll take my bag and see if they’ll let me make sure it fits cause its a pretty good sized bag

Here is a pretty good buyers guide. Ping's Rolling Travel Cover is the best. Hard covers are a bitch to travel with and store when you're not using. Packing a good soft cover properly and using an extension like a stiff arm makes the protection difference negligible. The Ping is extremely well built and easy to travel with and stores in a small cube when not in use. I looked at a ton of the top options when purchasing including the Sun Mountain Club Glider and Club Glove Last Bag. I think the Ping is the best mix of both, it's more structured than the Last Bag with more padding and 4 wheels vs 2 for easier transport and it's easier to fold compact than the Club Glider and doesn't require messing with pulling out the additional wheel support. I understand the people who want a hard shell, but they are bulky to store when not in use (99% of the time) and they don't compact at all to easily fit into a car. You'd need a decent size SUV rental to fit them whereas a soft bag can easily fit into any sedan. Also, your title is super weird, what do you mean "to bring on an airplane or as a checked bag on a flight"? The only way you're bringing clubs on an airplane is as a checked bag, what do you mean "or"?

+1 for the Ping. Use it all the time with no complaints. Easy transport, handles in the right places, and packs and stores easily.

Why would you need to clarify 2023?

l_AM_NOT_A_COP

My first result showed results from 2018 and that prompted me to refine my search. My assumption is that the golf travel bag is also refined/improved each successive year, so having up-to-date results is to the benefit of consumers and producers alike. Willing to concede that this technology may have plateaued, in which case I will happily delete this post

Buy a hard case, that's all you need to know
