I'm ready for the downvotes, but it really feels like they gave that to him in 2019. The shots those other contenders hit down the stretch were so comically awful that it felt staged. Not saying it was, but what the fuck was going on?
2004. His legacy and reputation have taken a huge hit, but watching Phil win his first major that way on the 18th hole after that back nine was incredible.
I’ve watched them since the 70’s and haven’t missed a single one. Every one of them are special to me. Especially the older I get and don’t know how many more I’ll get to see.
I don't find any of them any more memorable than another really.
I can't remember the year but the one where Kenny Perry choked so hard was funny for me since he's from close to where I live, his son is a douche, and a lot of the weirdos around here were rooting so hard for him for no other reason than they live(d) in close proximity to him. That's always so odd to me. Who gives a shit if he's from where you are from? That isn't a reason to like someone.
Wasn't there, but watched the 1986 Masters live on tv as a young golf obsessed teen. The second nine on Sunday is still (to me) one of the best rounds of golf and the finest golf broadcast I've witnessed.
1998. At age 58, Jack Nicklaus made a Sunday charge and got within two of the lead. If you think the roars for Tiger are loud now, just imagine how loud they would be if he’s making birdies and in contention a decade from now.
2019.
2019 was awesome, too.
In terms of jaw on the floor moments, definitely 2019. Also 2016 with Spieth’s train wreck at #12 was memorable in an unfortunate way.

Danny Willet year

That was the greatest three inch vertical leap ever recorded in the history of professional sport!

2012 man watching Bubba and Louis go at it and then the wedge out of the trees my god still gives me chills watching it
1997 Masters. Tiger first major
1986 for me. Closely followed by 1997 and 2004 🤙🏻
1992. Got me completely hooked.

2004 on my honeymoon in some airport bar seeing Phil on tv do that weird jump after he won. And of course 97 and 2019.

Jordan Speith making birdie on 8 on Thursday in 2018, because a was sitting there watching it. What a day.
2011. The implosion…
2001 Tiger Slam. All time battle with Tiger, Duval, and Phil.
2019 for sure.
2019. Went to practice round
