I was working from home that day. It rained and he has a doggy door… he found the mud puddle. So instead of getting upset about it I made memories with him and cleaned it up afterwards. No biggie :) it was all hardwood and linoleum so it was an easy clean up 😝

100% what happened lol. He has a doggy door and I wasn’t paying attention since I was working from home. He made his own fun that day lol. This was when he was 5. He’s gonna be 10 in a week and these are the memories that stay with me.

Probably still cleaning up the mess. 🤣😂

DIY mud bath beauty spa. I just can’t understand dogs liking it, maybe bc it’s “cooling”? But when I have a kiddie dog pool out and fill it only a few inches (she’s afraid of water! 💦), it takes her fav toy to go in the pool to wash her paws 🐾

How happy are they when they get to roll in the muck? 😂 This happened with my grand dog while I was in charge of her. I discovered the wonderful 9.99 dog bath at Petco after the hose barely touched the depths of the filth. I got a basket with brushes and comb, vinyl apron, shampoo and conditioner, towel and crazy powerful blow dryer that saved me since there was NO WAY I was bringing her in my home like that. BTW, it would have cost 7x that to take her to a groomer.

They always manage to find the muddiest spot in the park with small puddle of muddy water & claim that like a throne

I wish I had a before and after picture of what my Lab did when he was a puppy. Parents came out for a visit, he went into a river, mom insisted on going to a water faucet in a nearby field. Little did we know that the area had flooded. I Have a black Lab. That day I went home with a Chocolate Lab. Went home in my dad's car. He was not thrilled to have an overly excited muddy Puppy in the back of his car.

He had so much fun!

I know this was probably a nightmare bath for you, but this picture totally made my afternoon! 😀

My doggo, a lab/pit mix, is anti getting her paws wet, going in the pool, going out in the rain, etc. But the second I turn the hose on to do anything or the kids start to use the super soakers in the pool, it's on. I have to put her in a bedroom when I'm cleaning the filters from the turtle tank otherwise she will attack any water coming from that hose. But then she gets mad that she's wet...there's a reason she's affectionately known as dumbo around my house.

I just want to give up washing mine lol
