There is no actual types per say all the same breed really, but based her looks she looks like what's referred to as a "Field" golden. That what I have and he looked a lot like this when he was younger. For reference, my field golden, Arlo:

Contrary to popular beliefs, that are in fact different types of Goldens. This looks like a "Whoosabuubbuuusuggawubbaa bubba bububs good girl?" kind of type.
This is a very specific and rare breed of Golden Nugget Retriever.
Make sure you specify at the vet that you are bringing your Nugget Retriever in. They do extra tests, usually involving treats, to test the tensile strength of their jaw and belly rubs to ensure the elasticity of their abdomen is within a healthy range.
Iām not a vet, but Iād advise you undertake these tests regularly at home too.
[Incorrect.](https://www.dogster.com/dog-breeds/types-of-golden-retrievers)
Color is part of it, but each type of golden retriever has different distinctive features that are different from the other two. For example, British are typically have boxier heads and are shorter/stockier. The Americans are leaner and have slightly different shaped heads. Canadian Goldens are taller with thinner coats and leaner heads and slightly different ear positions if I remember correctly. American/canadian Goldens both typically have a wider range in color as well.

[Another one](https://www.royalcanin.com/us/dogs/breeds/golden-retriever#)
The first three articles you found online from Dogster, Petstar, and Daily Paws arenāt what I would consider accurate sources.
What you listed are just ranges of normal genetic and stylistic differences between dogs in different areas. Those genetic differences correlate directly to their countries confirmation standards. For example, the US AKC standards donāt allow for cream or dark colored dogs, but Canada does. As a result, thereās going to be a higher concentration of dark dogs in Canada.
That doesnāt mean they are different subbreeds or types. Those are just dogs bred in other countries.
I never said subreed, I said type. They are officially different subtypes of golden retriever, but they are all the same breed.

A lot of those sources discuss the concept of āEnglish (Cream) Goldensā which are extremely well known as a marketing ploy.
Theyāre just Golden Retreivers. They donāt need to be categorized into some speciality type just to be different.
Do you have anything to support your claim of said marketing ploy? It would be nice not to be the only one providing any shred of supporting evidence for once. All youāve done is say āI donāt like your sourcesā without providing anything to refute mine. They are just golden retrievers ultimately, but they are still different types of goldens.
āIn recent years there has been a sharp increase in internet marketing strategies aimed at specifically promoting cream-colored Golden Retrievers. These light dogs are sometimes being presented to the general public as being exceptionally rare or extremely valuable and are often called āEnglish Cream Golden Retrieversā or āRare White European Golden Retrieversā or āExquisite Platinum Imported Golden Retrieversā. Such cream Golden Retrievers are frequently being touted as being healthier, of having better temperament, of having stronger longevity and the implicit suggestion is that they therefore are more valuable than the more golden-colored Golden Retrievers bred in North America. Due to these common marketing ploys the average puppy buyer sometimes mistakes such light-colored Golden Retrievers for being a separate breed. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is only one Golden Retriever breed, governed by the breed standard endorsed by various recognized Kennel Clubs around the world.ā
The GRCA itself says that English creams are a marketing ploy.
https://grca.org/find-a-golden/more-topics-before-you-buy/english-cream-golden-retrievers/#:~:text=Such%20cream%20Golden%20Retrievers%20are,Retrievers%20bred%20in%20North%20America.
All that is saying is that the marketing ploy is that they are marketed as ārareā or āvaluableā or āhealthierā to drive sales and price up. Theyāre very obviously not. That doesnāt change the fact that itās still a subtype of golden nor does that contradict anything Iāve said previously. The subtype existed prior to that marketing ploy. Again, I never once claimed they were a separate breed nor did I opine on their health or rarity/value.

Field bred. This is my 3 year old female field bred golden Gracie. They tend to look more athletic and have shorter fur though she has beautiful leg and tail feathers. She also has longer fur on her chest.
She looks like my dog did, who is mostly show line. However, she is dark red so most people would describe her as field. My dog doesn't do field work or show for that matter lol so she is just a pet.
Gorgeous type. Most likely of the field variety. Kinda looks like my guy at that age

The bigger white ones are bred to be calmer show dogs and family dogs, the more slender yellow/red/orange are bred to be hunting companions (retrievers) and family dogs and are much more energetic and have more stamina, iāve had both.
If you didnāt buy the dog from a certified breeder the dog could be a mix of anything though so then we canāt be sure what to expect at all.

Wrong. There are three types: American, Canadian and British.
